I will take some responsibility for the product that was delivered because I was called by the florist that the exact spray I had ordered was not available and I agreed to a substitution. I was assured the new spray would be an equivalent in quality and appearance. After seeing the end product, I was very disappointed and discouraged with what I had sent. I sent my comment to the Florist and after more than a week, never heard a response back. I simple "sorry" or acknowledgment and an explanation would have been appreciated. read more

Flowers were sent to me in my Birthday , from this stores 3 days later they are dying My Honey, has always sent me flowers from this place for the past 15 years. It's under new ownership which, of course he didn't realize. Him thinking he's going to get the same wonderful product from the past, but he doesn't , I don't! And the price has gone up. Products has gone down in price has gone up. Stick with the same product if you're going up in price. The clientele has been build up if you want to keep them do right. I took the flowers to show them, hoping they would do the right thing. Instead, they accuse me of keeping them in the sun or too close to the AC. They acted like I never received roses like this before, and didn't know how to care for them. So in exchange they gave me a $10 bouquet oh and also let me keep the vase that was already paid for from the dead bouquet. We like to buy local and help our small businesses. But we definitely won't be using them anymore. You've been warned. read more

Our dear sweet Aunt passed away and I needed to order flowers for the funeral. Alvin Flowers in Alvin Texas was recommended so I called since we live in Arkansas I needed help with ordering. I spoke with Kristin at the florist even after me saying it would probably take a while to order and she was wonderful in helping me to place my order. Not only did she help me place my order but she was so helpful with my limited knowledge of the computer to get to the website needed to pick out the order. They didn't have the angel that was pictured so she took pictures and sent to me to pick out the one I liked best. She was so patient with me and we got the order done. It really makes a difference in the way you are treated even if you need a lot of help. Thank you to the florist and to Kristin you are a credit to your job. Ordered Birthday flowers for my daughter's birthday! VERY disappointed at what she received! Mostly carnations and 1 rose! For $81 I would expect better quality of flowers and not carnations! Will not be using this florist again! What many florist don't expect that the recipient and sender shares pictures of what was sent! We had Alvin Flowers do our wedding bouquets and boutonnieres. I showed them pictures from Pinterest that I had seen and liked, and they created bouquets based on them. We got a bouquet for bridals, for the wedding, and one to toss. We also go boutonnieres for all the groomsmen and fathers. The price was reasonable, but the bouquets did not exactly match what I had wanted based on my pictures. They were still pretty, though, and I appreciate that they tried to match the ribbons on the flowers to my overall wedding theme. They were recommended by our venue, so it was nice that they were close and could deliver on the wedding day. Overall, I was satisfied with this company! read more

This is the second time I have tried to order flowers online with Alvin flowers. I didn't use them for two years, after the last mistake, until this past Valentine's Day...I thought I would give them one more chance after sending an arrangement that wasn't close to what I ordered. Now it happens again! If I order an online arrangement, I expect it to look close to what is listed. "Cotton Candy" is a beautiful pastel arrangement...Well, they delivered an arrangement with HUGE open red roses and a handful of smaller flowers. I could have picked out better flowers at WalMart or Krogers. Sorry, but I have received inferior service TWICE now...This was the last time I will EVER do business with Alvin Flowers! read more

I was disappointed with the funeral arrangement they sent. I did not specify what kind of flowers, just asked if they could do something nice for $75. the arrangement had some nice greenery, but the flowers were gerbera daisies and not a lot of those. the Website showed much prettier arrangements for the same price. On the plus side, they got them out the same day. read more
