I was not happy when I had to get out from under the car a third time to go get the correct oil filter again. The first time Autozone hand picked it, then it was Oreilly, finally I had Advance Auto Parts pick it and explained if they got it wrong I was going to be pretty upset given my past two experiences with the other retailers that day. Overall, I was not impressed with this store. I was able to get the correct tool to remove the filter housing here, but the associate sold me the wrong filter.

I told him the scoop and he voluntarily walked out w me to take a peak. This guy not only suggested a different sealant, but said it was better AND cheaper. It doesn't stop there. Johnny spent over 40 minutes helping me from start to finish in fixing the problem, and even offered me one dollar to put some fresh gas in it. Who the fuck does that?! Seriously. Unreal customer service, and he didn't appear agitated for a second. At the end of it all he even said welcome to Houston! I stopped in to get some new batteries, and was pleasantly surprised by the level of help that I was able to get- making sure it was the right size battery and getting me rang up right away. It was a great shopping experience. The clerks were most helpful- there was a guy in line in front of me with some complicated return, and the other clerk put down their restocking supplies and immediately came over and helped as soon as it was apparent that the other customer's return was going to take a while. I've attempted, on several occasions, to have them patch a leaky tire - and they have never attempted always stating an excuse. Road hazard was not honored because I drove on a tire from the left lane to the feeder on the right. Battery information could not be accessed between stores. The tire that I find on the internet has never been available when I arrive - coincidentally always the next higher priced tire. I'd gone here for years simply because I though it was the cheapest, quickest place (most importantly cheapest). Finally, out of complete frustration, I tried NTB across the street - and found that I no longer had a need to use the walmart service department . At NTB I got better service from a more knowledgeable staff at a better price... and when they patched the same tire that walmart refused to patch, it lasted another 5000 or so miles.

My experience the sales staff was pleasant and helpful, however I cannot say the same about treatment from their management team. I called on vehicle that was to be added to my companies fleet, communicated with finance I would be paying cash for the vehicle. They first sent over the buyers order in which I noticed a $3k charge for "reliance protection plant" along with other discretionary fees. I understand the car sales game, attract customers with low prices online then stick fees in at the last second to raise their margin. These fees are hidden to the masses as "it is only $42 / month on your note. As a cash buyer this came out to 8% increase on the total vehicle cost, I requested finance to remove it. They agreed to cut the fee by 70% making it somewhat more palatable, so we agreed and they began drawing docs up. I prepared my wire for payment and booked a local shop to install back up alarm for the delivery day as we needed the truck on site asap. I found out on the day of the proposed delivery that the manager had sold the vehicle out from under me and the salesman to an unsuspecting customer that I am sure he swindled with the "its only $42 / month more on your note"

I recently had a frustrating experience with Deleon Mechanic Shop regarding my Audi A6. I took it…read morein to have the transmission fluid cooler control valve replaced. Initially, they were prompt in calling me to say the car was fixed, so I picked it up two days later. However, shortly after, I noticed the car was leaking fluid. I called them immediately, and they asked me to bring it back in. After doing so, I was assured they would address the issue. Unfortunately, the car continued to leak fluid even after their second attempt to fix it. I was forced to return the car to them once more. This time, they kept my car for two months, during which I never received a clear or consistent explanation for the delay. Each time I called or visited, I was given a different reason for why the repair was taking so long. It was incredibly frustrating to be without my car for such an extended period without any satisfactory communication from them. Eventually, they told me they couldn't fix the problem, but their explanations were vague and unconvincing. This lack of clarity and professionalism was disappointing. Due to this experience, I am giving Deleon Mechanic Shop a one-star rating. I will not be taking my car there again and would caution others to consider my experience before choosing this shop.
