I ended up bringing it back three separate times for the same issue. To be fair, one of those visits did uncover another problem that genuinely needed to be repaired. However, I repeatedly brought up the original O2 code, and every time I was told the car was fixed and ready to go. Unfortunately, within the same day or by the following day the check engine light would come back with the same code. Each visit cost me more money, so I kept assuming an honest mistake had been made and would return a week or two later hoping the issue would finally be resolved. A few weeks ago, my car completely died. I almost brought it back here, but after the previous experiences, I decided to take it to the dealership instead. The dealership found burned wiring, blown fuses, and had to trace and repair sections of the wiring harness. I'm not claiming this shop caused those problems, because I don't know that. What I do know is that after those electrical repairs, I've been driving the car every day, and the O2 sensor code that I had been chasing for months has not returned. I'm not accusing any one of intentionally replacing parts that weren't needed. However, when a customer returns multiple times with the exact same problem, I expect a more thorough diagnosis instead of repeatedly replacing parts and sending me on my way. The repeated repairs cost me a significant amount of money without solving the issue. What finally convinced me to leave this review was my last visit. I asked if they offered a military discount because my parents were paying for the repair. Instead of simply telling me yes or no, I was asked what my dad does in the military. After I answered, the conversation turned into comments minimizing the importance of his job. That was disappointing and unprofessional, especially coming from someone who said they were ex military. My father's service deserved respect, not criticism. I can't recommend this shop based on my experience. I hope they improve their diagnostic process and treat customers and military families with more professionalism and respect.

They took the time to diagnose my vehicle, didn't try to upsell me on unnecessary repairs, and charged me fairly. In a world where many people dread taking a car to a mechanic, this team was a breath of fresh air. Now for the embarrassing part... I was driving my mom's car when the check engine light came on and the car quit running. Convinced it was something major, I had it towed to Velocity Auto Care. Even the AAA driver didn't realize what was actually wrong. The diagnosis? The car was out of gas. Completely out of gas. That's it. Gas. They could have easily made me feel foolish, but instead they treated me with grace. Special shout out to Mr Jason, he was kind, professional, respectful, and had me back on the road quickly. The convertible top on my Merc was having problems and Andy, the owner, knows all about the complex components and how they work backwards and forwards. I also got the service work down that was overdue (my bad) and tire rotation. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, but, amazingly, the prices are reasonable (certainly substantially less than dealerships and most shops. Plus, they really stand behind their work with extensive warranties on their work. Last, but certainly not least, Cedes has magic component that no other facility does - Caryl (sp?) behind the front desk. She knows so much about all things Mercedes that it's scary, and she's funny while being totally straight forward and honest (as we all know, sometimes the truth can hurt!). They are always very thorough. Andy, the owner, i consider to have a PhD in Mercedes. He is really that knowledgeable !! He knows all the good points and bad points of every Mercedes model for the last 25 years. I enjoy talking to "Mercedes" with him whenever I go there. I have a 2009 E550 and a 2007 CLS 550, so my two cars have the same engine and transmission, which makes home diagnostics easier for a problem before I take it in for service. I consider working with Andy a partnership in keeping my older model Mercedes running. Do not take your Mercedes to the local dealerships. Most of their technicians don't know what they are doing. I went to have the battery tested and was advised the battery was bad. Once they took 1200.00 from me the battery put in the car was bulging on both sides. They sold me a bad battery and knew it was bad. They knew I was from out of town and I told them this. I hate that people are so horrible and would do anything for money. You didn't care that I was a female and didn't know much about cars. They take advantage of you and should be ashamed of how they treated me.
