With speedy service and a smile I got the vegetarian omlette. It had mushroom, peppers, onions, tomatoes, spinach and choice of cheese and included choice of toast and home fries, it was huge and very good.So much to choose from on the menu, you can't go wrong plus lots of parking in their lot, can't wait to come back and try something else.

With fast and friendly service I received my cheese omlette. It included home fries and choice of toast and cheese and was tasty. Lots of choices on the menu can't wait to come back and try something new. Plenty of on site parking.

We were meeting friends late on a weeknight when we all realized we were hungry. Not knowing where to go, we decided to visit the one place we know is always open late, has reasonably priced items, and a variety. Also, they have a nice spread of breakfast items too! I wasn't very hungry so I ordered the soup and BLT. My wife and our friends all ordered breakfast items, from pancakes, eggs, etc. Altons isn't fancy, as it isn't meant to be fancy, but they have some decent decor, good service from the staff, reasonable items, and never a regret after visiting them. I find them to be a Cheektowaga classic, a not so hidden gem, and a business I hope lives on for a long long time.

The lore behind the diner is very interesting! It's an elevated atmosphere that is cozy in the winter time. Our waitress was very attentive to our orders and was very kind with her recommendations. We got the chicken souvlaki which was wonderful with a side of the Greek potatoes.

Alton's deserves all the praise they get. From extremely friendly staff , quick ticket times in the kitchen, and portions and flavor. They're a "Go to" establishment for us and I'm shocked I haven't left a review yet. The French toast breakfast didn't disappoint the misses with big slices, cooked perfectly, a side of nice fluffy eggs and some ham. A solid breakfast. The mother in law opted for the tuna sandwich which she told me was very good. And the star of the show was that open chicken souvlaki. Piled high chicken and vegetable. I just wish it came with a full pita and more of that amazing sauce. Definitely will be making another stop soon

I'm always impressed when dining here. It's our go to when we need a last minute place to grab dinner. There is never a long wait, the staff are all very friendly, and the food is always served quickly. My favorite thing to order is the chicken finger sub because they always have the perfect balance of fingers to veggies. The sub is only served with a pickle though so you will need to order fries separately and should not skip this because their fries are really good! I also love the spinach dip appetizer because it is served with pita bread when most places serve it with tortilla chips. Bonus here is breakfast is served all day so if you feel like having pancakes for dinner, you're at the right place!

It's a nice restaurant the staff is friendly and it's never a long wait to be seated. They have a nice back room for larger parties, I once came with 10-12 people. I like the pork chops they have always been cooked perfectly and friend keeps getting me to try the clam chowder soup it's only available on Fridays.

Cheap, no-frill casual breakfast place! There's always a wait but it typically goes by fast. My favorite is the chicken souvlaki breakfast which comes with chicken, two eggs, home fries, and toast. I've also had their Belgian waffle with strawberries. Overall, pretty standard but solid food!

Always a great breakfast with quick friendly service! Thought it would be too crowded by all the cars in lot but forgot how large this restaurant is! Got a table for two immediately. Will definitely be back again!

Once again Yelp comes through! I looked up Alton's and the first 5 reviews that came up were All 5 stars and all for the chicken souvlaki breakfast So we both got that! Now there are 2 more 5 stars for it and the restaurant! The chicken was awesome, cooked perfectly, tender, seasoned very deliciously! The eggs were cooked as ordered! Can't wait to return!

Came to the Harlem Rd. location with my dad for a quick breakfast and we were not disappointed! We were greeted and seated immediately upon arrival and our waitress arrived shorty after and took our beverage orders first. She gave an appropriate amount of time for us to look over the menu before coming to take our orders. My dad ordered a pancake breakfast and I had a cheeseburger, fries and coleslaw. To say we received our meals in record time was an understatement! There was a decent sized crowd in the restaurant and we got our food, FAST! Piping hot and just delicious. My dad's pancakes were about the size of an adult human head, the eggs were airy and the bacon crispy. My cheeseburger was cooked well, my fries...hot, crispy and plentiful! The portion sizes were just right, so right I had to take a little nap when I got home. I'll be back soon!

Good food, though they have become a bit pricey. Also, they close so early now. At least say open a bit later than 9

After a long drive to have brunch somewhere on Elmwood, just to find the doors locked, I ventured…read moreover here to have lunch and it did not disappoint! First off, I was greeted and found staff friendly and efficient! You have plenty of options for seating .. dining area, front bar, back bar, even an outdoor patio bar. Although it is dive bar-esque, it was nice and clean (let's be honest .. some dives have a stench and stickiness that can definitely ruin your appetite, no matter how much you may love them). They have a set up for bands to play, as one was playing while I was there for their 2 year anniversary (congrats!). What was nice is although I could hear the band (it was playing in the back and I was up front), it wasn't over whelming me. I have eaten places where, no matter where you sit, it's extremely loud, and I appreciated that you had a choice here. Now onto the food: The food should have been doomed to fail; my tastebuds were prepared to eat sweet, buttery, syrupy French toast with a mocktail at brunch elsewhere. But wasn't hyped about the menu because of this (which is not dog and pony's fault .. I had to work and didn't have time to research where else brunch was available). I settled on the umami smashburger by a suggestion of my waitress. Now once again, could have been doomed to fail as I'm not a French fry person and my favorite cheeseburger is one I make on my own. BUT WOW their food blew me away and made me forget all about my brunch let-down. The French fries were fantastic and had a great seasoning on them! The smashburger was great to the last bite .. and I was NOT expecting to finish it as it was a really nice portion (I ate lunch now 10 hours ago and didn't need to eat again it was so filling!) but it was so dang gone good I sure finished it! Smoked cheddar .. chimichuri aioli ... kimchi bacon jam .. oh ya that bacon jam was EVERYTHING!! Thank you to the staff at Dog and Pony for making my long drive worth while!

I ordered the smash burger, my husband ordered the turkey sandwich. After we were waiting for our food for over 25 minutes, the server came over and said that he was just informed they don't have the turkey because they had an issue with that freezer. Ok, so my husband ordered the cheese steak because he was super excited for the bahn mi roll. My smash burger was alright, but the bread they use for their burgers remind me of those cheap buns you get from TOPS that just fall apart. The worst part was that they forgot the dog sauce on my burger, so I asked for the sauce, and THEY CHARGED ME FOR ASKING FOR SAUCE THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO ALREADY BE ON THE BURGER I ORDERED. My husband made sure to tell me after we already left because he knew I would have fought it and our already 1.5 hour long lunch date would have been longer waiting for the refund... He ordered the cheesesteak and the sandwich was so small, and the "bahn mi bun" wasn't even toasted which is a signature for bahn mi bread. He said the flavor was fine but nothing to rave about. The worst part, for me, were the French fries that came with both of our meals. They were soooo heavily peppered that they were inedible. We asked for ketchup to try to make them tolerable, and they gave us a pre-portioned small cup of ketchup... You serve french fries with most of your menu, why isn't there ketchup on the table?!? Overall, It was a nice place to have on senrca street which used to only have the blackthorn and franchescas, but I would not eat here again.

The service was quick, and everyone was incredibly welcoming and hospitable, which made the experience even better. My only small caveat is that the menu is somewhat limited, especially considering how fresh and flavorful everything is, I would have loved to see even more options. It's cafeteria style (for now, I'm sure), where you go up, order, pay for your food, then sit at one of the 4 tables. The place is very clean and for now, they have folding chairs, but you will absolutely overlook that when you try the food. It's a small place and I'm sincerely hoping eventually they can expand. And I'll explain why... . As the owner will proudly tell you, they have won awards for their sauce. I'm not in the least bit surprised... it is absolutely scrumptious! It's not like the sauce you find at most places. This is authentic Northern Italian sauce. The flavor is so rich, I could literally drink it from a cup! The meatballs are very flavorful, and the homemade bread... thick and hardy. . I ordered what was a breaded rice ball with a meatball in the middle. They threw in a couple extra meatballs and cut me a huge hunk of bread. My friends all ordered what was a stuffed half loaf of bread and got to choose their own fillings. We were all extremely happy with the food. . Now what makes this special other than the food... the two men who make sure your dining experience is a good one. The owner, once we were finished eating, sat with us at our table and got to know a bit about us. He told us that he also offers cooking lessons with Italian lessons! What a great idea for a group of people to experience. . Please give this little gem a chance. They certainly deserve all the kudos. We all agreed we will be returning soon. .
