After long day they leff wood chips piled up over the old stump. I asked them to remove chips. They did remove some but not all. The owner said I've got some dirt left from another job I'll put in at no cost. I agreed but didn't realize they just cover up the chips rather than removal. A few weeks later at least three pieces of fhe stump have surfaced where they did no grind them out. Below are pics of their unsatisfactory work. Grass won't grow over the chips they backfilled with and lawnmower hits the unground stump. I wish I had gone with a more professional tree service. Shop informed when hiring a tree removal service.

The co-owner of the service came out on 1 July, she was efficient, professional and knew her trees. She didn't try to up-sell us on anything, and made suggestions that we were comfortable about in meeting our long term goals. The six-man crew arrived this morning, about 10 minutes early (which as an old ex-Army guy I loved). They were ready to work and got right to it. The team moved like a well rehearsed operation, no wasted movements, no wasted time. Each action and reaction caused something to fall to the ground. My wife and I were compelled to watch and take pictures. She needed to do videos for the 3yr old grandson who just loves big trucks and equipment. They have all the proper machinery and accesories, no barely running chain saws or jack-leg ropes and hope methodology for these guys. The clean-up is amazing, aside from the remaining stump, there is very little evidence they were here removing thousands of pounds of wood. They even brought top soil and filled in the divots made from log fall. Tree work is not cheap, and quality work, that is done safely for the workers, and your property shouldn't be. I am very happy with the final cost of the project. This is not, at least hopefully, the kind of service you need with any regularity, but, if we do ever need anything else, JNF is an absolute first call for us. The best thing you could do is just look at how they respond to the negative reviews on here, Google, etc. - is every random person the enemy or are they just a bad company? Following the severe storms in mid-March, they have harassed sweet, elderly women and single mothers in the North County area with outrageous invoices for tens of thousands of dollars for a few hours of work. It couldn't be more obvious how they are simply attempting to prey on vulnerable people in stressful situations, in the hopes of getting the insurance payout, then shout about liens and lawsuits in order to get whatever money they can of out people when either insurance doesn't pay or they want more money. Even going so far as to bring a costumed police officer with them to the door "to collect" - last I checked, cops don't make house calls for bill collection. It is also suspicious that they want their compensation delivered in-person and not sent in the mail - could it because mail fraud is a federal offense?

When my husband got home that day he went around back and seen our fence got damaged. Right away Bobby the owner told my husband that he is going to fix the fence. With a business you would think. When my fence got damaged someone would have knocked on the door but no one did. They waited for us to realize it on our own. On may 1st then he gives me his tree climber info saying he is responsible one. I asked why he didn't give me this info 2 weeks ago. He told me that Josh told him that it is fixed but didn't bother to verify with me. Just assumed that my fence was fixed. I messaged him on may 5th and he was still talking about his truck being broke down but fence will be fixed this week. On may 8th he caught my husband coming home and told him that the fence will get fixed by tomorrow. When I got home fence was still not fixed. I also told him to contact me before going on my property and didn't do that either. Just went on my property today without letting me know. Not only that your business is closed on Sundays so why was you on my property without letting me know. When I got home on may 10th I went to check on my fence since I seen him on camera on my property without letting me know. He only replaced corner piece on fence but my chainlink got bent and he is not replacing it. For almost a month and got nothing but the run around. I had to keep on messaging him for updates. His communication sucks and didn't even bother to let me know he was done until I messaged him.
