So, when we needed a tree trimmed and a few smaller, decorative (landscaping) trees and bushes removed, we called them again. I was out of town and a family member was present on the day they arrived. They did a decent job of removing the 3 smaller trees but a terrible job on trimming back two bushes. But the biggest transgression was when they told the family member that a large, 40 year old oak in the back yard which I had planted new, was dead and needed to be removed. It was late fall so leaves were not present to indicate a dead tree. My thought is that the little jobs weren't paying enough so they decided to "find" something to make more money. They cut down this oak, which was NOT dead, and charged a $2500 to do so! A check was given to them on the spot by the family member or I'd have refused. Takeaway? Be present when someone is working and get a second opinion (if needed) on whether a tree is dead or dying. I feel like we got played. Caveat Emptor. Below are 2 bushes they "trimmed." And don't get me started on why they didn't tell a family member that the oak pieces would make good firewood or could even be sold for furniture or wood working!

We offered to use our neighbor's driveway for access for vehicles but they shared it wasn't needed. There was a lot of rain prior to the service. They did a good job with the tree but destroyed our yard with tire tracks and the bobcat sunk the concrete in front of our house so it's not safe. I reached out to them immediately and they said we should call the city of Webster. I spoke with the street superintendent of Webster and he looked at it personally. He confirmed it was absolutely and clearly the fault of the tree company's equipment. Calling back Jackson, they shared they aren't responsible. I will not use nor recommend them again. I'll spend my money elsewhere and will share with my neighbor too.

The best thing you could do is just look at how they respond to the negative reviews on here, Google, etc. - is every random person the enemy or are they just a bad company? Following the severe storms in mid-March, they have harassed sweet, elderly women and single mothers in the North County area with outrageous invoices for tens of thousands of dollars for a few hours of work. It couldn't be more obvious how they are simply attempting to prey on vulnerable people in stressful situations, in the hopes of getting the insurance payout, then shout about liens and lawsuits in order to get whatever money they can of out people when either insurance doesn't pay or they want more money. Even going so far as to bring a costumed police officer with them to the door "to collect" - last I checked, cops don't make house calls for bill collection. It is also suspicious that they want their compensation delivered in-person and not sent in the mail - could it because mail fraud is a federal offense?

When my husband got home that day he went around back and seen our fence got damaged. Right away Bobby the owner told my husband that he is going to fix the fence. With a business you would think. When my fence got damaged someone would have knocked on the door but no one did. They waited for us to realize it on our own. He hung up on me because of having truck problems and noticed it was me and didn't like how i was talking to him. What do you expect when someone realized that you are ignoring them. On may 1st then he gives me his tree climber info saying he is responsible one. I asked why he didn't give me this info 2 weeks ago. He told me that Josh told him that it is fixed but didn't bother to verify with me. Just assumed that my fence was fixed. I messaged him on may 5th and he was still talking about his truck being broke down but fence will be fixed this week. On may 8th he caught my husband coming home and told him that the fence will get fixed by tomorrow. When I got home fence was still not fixed. I also told him to contact me before going on my property and didn't do that either. Just went on my property today without letting me know. Not only that your business is closed on Sundays so why was you on my property without letting me know. When I got home on may 10th I went to check on my fence since I seen him on camera on my property without letting me know. He only replaced corner piece on fence but my chainlink got bent and he is not replacing it. For almost a month and got nothing but the run around. I had to keep on messaging him for updates. His communication sucks and didn't even bother to let me know he was done until I messaged him.
