Dr. Brockman and her entire staff are outstanding and go above and beyond to show love and care to my now, senior dog. I wouldn't trust my dog to go anywhere else. I was shocked at some of the negative reviews given here at Yelp. I did notice that many of these negative reviews were written during the Covid pandemic. I believe that just the stress of that alone caused many to be on edge and upset. I really feel it's unfair to personally condemn a person especially if you are comparing them to yourself. You should go here for great care of your beloved fur baby.

They discovered a broken carnassial tooth, and we scheduled an extraction appointment. He also had a flare up of hip dysplasia in between, which they immediately made time to see him for. He had a bad reaction to the medication, and they again made time to see him immediately. All while this was going on, Rudy (our Vet Tech), called regularly to check on Cameron. They patiently answered all my questions during this. It was a rough 3 weeks, but Indian Peaks made a difficult situation bearable. I can't thank them enough! We had our follow up for his dental suture today, and Dr. Andrews was able to examine his mouth without any problems! They are miracle workers over there.

Instead of a collaborative conversation, it felt like: "I'm the trained vet, so don't question me." The vet and techs gave her an injection to suppress vomiting as well as a medication to coat her stomach. She's also quite a picky eater so the team there gave us a few cans of plain food. It's been a few days now and she is back to 100%, normal poops and appetite. No throw ups. I'm so grateful for their guidance and availability. My cat was distressed after we brought a new kitten into the home (the kitten has been re-homed) She stopped eating, pottied on our bedroom pillows and was throwing up.Left Hand started her on IV fluids, found a sore on her tongue and then did blood work, no issues there. We went to Veg and they monitored her all night. They gave her meds for her barely existent fever (even they noted this in her notes). I believe they gave her an appetite stimulant as well. Next day she had an ultrasound showing nothing we didn't know about already know about, or that would have caused these issues. They treated her tongue and sent her home the next day. She didn't really improve a lot. They sent her home with some mouth wash for her tongue ulcer with instructions. The vile was empty when I went to give her her first treatment, and they are in Boulder while I am in Lyons so I couldn't pop over and get more, besides they told me if she was eating she didn't need it. She had eaten so I didn't worry. The next day she was vomiting again, acting strange and hiding. When I called about this they wanted me to bring her back. I asked about the meds they gave her and they said to keep giving them to her. Well, the med they prescribed for appetite, capromorelin, side effects are, ironically, vomiting and excessive salivation are the mose most commonly reported adverse effects in cats, and the FDA also lists decreased appetite, lethargy, and post-marketing reports of hiding. These were all the symptoms I was describing to the vet that answered the phone. They should know the side effects of the meds they prescibe. $3000.00 later I have a cat that could have healed better at home. The stress of the hospitalization at Veg contributed to two miserable days during and after my cat's visit there. I wouldn't recommend this Group to anyone. I will stand by that. I wish I could get my money back. They saw me coming.

My regular vet at Arapahoe was not in that day, so we saw Dr. Califf. Dr. Califf diagnosed Twinkie with pancreatitis, hepatitis, colitis, an inflammation in her liver and kidneys and gallbladder. She was extremely dehydrated so we left for there to be treated. Dr. Califf updated me every few hours with Twinkies care. After three days we got to take her home and continued her treatment and meds at home for 2 weeks. Her follow-up yesterday showed that all of her blood levels are now normal, and she is doing great! Thanks to Dr. Califf and the awesome, compassionate care she got, Twinkie has her spunk back. So grateful to them all!
