Once inside, I received a copy of my birth certificate within two minutes. Service was VERY efficient. The cost to receive a copy of my birth certificate was $34.00, plus a $1.75 fee for paying by debit card. Tip: There is a free parking lot to the rear of the location. Tip 2-This is one of a limited number of offices to assist you if you need a copy of your birth certificate, marriage certificate, or death certificate, as long as your incident occurred in LA County.
