I called in and spoke to Matt on reco as to whom would be a good pick since Karen wasn't on schedule for my friend's massage. Matt was so helpful, over communicated with all I needed to know; it was like speaking to an old friend... he was warm and friendly over the phone. I have been here several times now and have always loved their service, atmosphere and care, and was so excited to book myself a birthday massage, after receiving an email for $15 off in my birthday month. I went to pay and use said discount and was told that because their gift cards can often be purchased through some sort of deal, I can't stack discounts. This, in theory makes sense, however, knowing that this gift card was not purchased at a discount, this seemed a bit strange (I guess there is no way for them to see that there was no discount applied to purchasing a gift card...). Anyway, I was disappointed in this, as I had booked mainly to be able to use this discount and there's no indication anywhere that says you can't use a gift card with it. To be totally clear- they are fantastic here. So friendly and welcoming, I've never had an experience any less than fantastic. However, you can still get in and out of the pools with ease because of the railings. There is maybe enough space for two in the plunge pool. Staff came through with some cool eucalyptus towelettes and there is free flavored or non flavored water to drink. The cons for me would be the parking, and the over booking, people were struggling to find places for their robes and cups. I just went to the bank to put it back, and someone got their hands on my card, stole $200, took my CC info, now I have to freeze my account, fill out police reports, have no access to money for a week while others are away. I received no explanation for why the appointment was canceled and after one text back, I tried to work out other days and times, ask about time management during the session and she never got back to me.
