I called the store and was asking for an estimate. The woman ask when I need it, I said tomorrow and immediately got mad at me and start saying *no store can do that blah blah blah* and hang up on me. Didn't even give me a chance to explain and negotiate the dates. I understand there are turn around times and this is why I called them because reviews says that they can do it *same day* which I now I believe is false. Called to simply ask a question about a dress hem and was shocked at how rude the lady who answered was, from start to finish. She was rude even when first answering, made me feel awful about even asking the question and hung up without saying goodbye or any response whatsoever when I thanked her for giving an answer. Run Fast - Run Far.. I brought my Daughters Wedding Dress for alterations and was quoted a price of $125 dollars, when I went to get the dress it was $220 dollars with no adequate explanation of why. She stated we had an "Open Contract" and It is what it is. Rosa, the mother and Maria "the princess" are very unfriendly and have no idea how to run a business. STOP, don't go here. The worst alterations place in town. I brought my dress here to be altered. It is a dress I won't need to wear for a while, so I had plenty of time. I needed the dress made larger. It needed 1-2 inches up top. I researched if this was possible to make a dress larger and everything I Read said YES. I read over 10 articles. I arrive at the shop. The lady says try it on. I come out and she says oh you need it larger? We can not do that. I was very disappointed. She never had me stand on the stool in front of the mirror. She never touched the dress or looked at the seams. Nothing. Just a flat out NO. So I got in my car and I googled the next alterations shop. I found one about 2 miles away. I called them and asked if they can make a dress larger. They said yes of course. I bought it in to Jin's Alterations 1250 Seminole Blvd. #4 Largo, FL . They were so so so sweet. Very accommodating and so nice. I tired on the dress they had me stand in front of the mirror and they went to work. Talking about all the different ways they could fix it to be larger. Giving me lots of choices. Ahhhhhh thank goodness I kept going and found a real alterations shop. read more

I'm a slightly thick petite woman and the struggle is real to find appropriately fitting clothes. I hadn't been able to find a seamstress that wasn't too far away and offered quality work for years. I had given up on buying anything that needed altered unless it was required (I.e. a bridesmaid dress). Randomly seeing this shop as I was driving has helped my wardrobe expand and allowed me to once again purchase dresses, pants and skirts that are clearly not for someone my height. I lost a lot of weight and had some expensive jeans, i hated to throw out. I brought them in to see if they could do anything with them. They graciously pinned them up and when I returned, my old jeans fit PERFECT!. Amazing job at a reasonable price, considering, i did not have to go out and buy three new pair. I have had a number of pieces altered here, including multiple bridesmaid dress that required quite a bit of altering (both chiffon and lace dresses). It always looks wonderful! Brought in a pair of shorts that needed repair to waistband. Workmanship was shoddy and amateurish. I could have done better my self with needle and thread. When I complained they became belligerent, cursing and threatened to call the police. I should have waited for them. My neighbor had a similar experience. Beware of these psychos. read more

Being the procrastinator I am- I waited until a month before my wedding to find someone to take in my wedding dress, shorten the straps, and add a bustle. I called a few places in the area and they all told me they "might have time, bring it in ad we will see".. Not Alterations with Style. The response I got was "Of course we can do it, bring it in any time and we will have it ready before your big day". Not only was I relieved to hear that, but when I went in to get fitted I was treated with the upmost respect and kindness. She was able to bustle my dress though it didn't seem possible at first. She told me 2 weeks for turnaround time which was amazing to begin with - consider my surprise when 6 days later she called to say it was ready ahead of schedule. I went to pick it up today and it's perfect! The straps were still a little loose so she fixed them right then and there so I wouldn't have to come back again. Also, the price was extremely fair! I was worried knowing how heavy my dress is and the intricacies that it would cost a small fortune but it didn't. I will recommend this place to anyone and everyone and I hope they get more active on social platforms so I can continue to share their business. read more

Had a formal event to attend and brought my husband's suit pants to be hemmed. They did a great job. So when I picked out my dress and it needed to be hemmed too. I brought it to them also. My dress was two layers with one solid layer covered with lace and a few sequins. They did a superior job. The cut of the dress needed to be fixed. So it wasn't an easy fix but they got it finished ahead of schedule and it's perfect. The prices were reasonable and the work was perfect. She even recommended a dry cleaners close to us that does in house cleaning. I highly recommend this business and will definitely be using them again in the future. Horrible! I dropped off my dress to be hemmed for a wedding. Cost me $69 I picked up dress brought it home just to find black stains all over the front of dress. Since it was navy I didn't see till I came home. She was very rude telling me she didn't do it and told me so go get it dry cleaned! It was a last minute choice to get it hemmed and because of them I couldn't even wear the dress! Do not go to them! When I called to talk to her she hung up on me. read more

Horrible place to get your wedding dress bustle done! I took my wedding dress there just to do the bustle and was charged $40 because she said it would be difficult to do since it had many layers. I didn't mind paying the $40 as long as it was done right. When I came back to pick up my dress one side of the dress was laying fine and the other side you can see the stitching underneath each layer of the dress. They refused to fix it and kept blaming it on the dress. My mom was with me and pointed it out them and they were very rude to her and she showed her how to fix it and after 15 minutes of trying to lay it right it finally worked but when I started to walk what she did came out and you could see the bottom of the dress layer which looked horrible. She basically said that it's the way the dress is made and my mom can follow me all night on my wedding day and fix it. She also said nobody will be looking at the dress anyway so it doesn't matter what it looks like. I wish I could give no stars as this place does not deserve it. Completely rude and unprofessional mother daughter team. I'm taking it to another tailor in Tampa on Kennedy (Angel's custom tailoring) and they fixed it no questions asked and everything looks perfect for my big day.
