Class A Service I went in to get a pair of pants I just purchased but where to long. I rushed in around 5:55pm and they close at 6:00p. So you can imagine my expectations when arrived. I was greater by Daniella who didn't seem like she was about to close. I asked if she could hem my pants for a wedding I had for a Friday wedding. She happily asked me to get my pants on and stand in front of her mirror, so she can size me. Not only did she complement my sassy shoes she understood fashion and how to work with slim sized pants. The final product was perfect, the stitching was flawless and very professionally done. It only cost me $12 to hem them up. Just an FYI this is a small family owned business and the aesthetics may not suite all. Please Ignore that and give this place a chance. read more

I was quoted $70 to have my dressed hemmed 1 inch and was charged $90.95 upon pick up. however, she was very quick in the turn around time. When I went in for measurements she did not pin the dress at all and just looked around the dress and estimated about 1in to be taken off. She was very friendly I just did not think the price tag matched the services provided. read more

My dry cleaner recommended I go to this place as they don't do alterations. Today I needed only one leg of a pair of slacks rehemmed. I expected to have to leave them and pay at least $10. When I walked in, I was immediately greeted by Daniela. She was incredibly nice and offered to hem it right then. I was amazed; you don't get customer service like that very often. I waited less than ten minutes before she was finished and my pants were perfectly hemmed. The icing on the cake was the price. :-) I will take any item I ever need altered to Daniela. I purchased this cute shirt last fall that had two long sides, way too long. One towards the front right side and the other towards the back left. I've been able to wear it by tying a knot on each side. I really wanted to wear it again but I could not do the knot thing, as it looked way too casual. I am still new to the area, considering there are things like alterations, I've never had a need for in the past 3 yrs. When I saw Daniela's 5 star rating I was sold. She was the only one in the area with such a rating and with the most reviews (or close to) and the reason why I am writing the review. She will not disappoint! Had an outfit I needed tailored in a short period of time and she got it done in 2 HOURS and she did a great job.

We had a wonderful experience! Very patient, and she anticipated my needs when suggesting the alterations to the dress. It was one of those higher-end novelty lingerie gowns, so it was not made of the most durable material (mesh, pleather) and it had to fit my body. It was made for someone much taller than I am, and it had to hit the body in exactly the right places in order to have the intended "wow" effect. Daniela accomplished this beautifully, and I received countless compliments on my dress. I had collected a bag of clothing that needed random little alterations and repairs here and there, thinking that they were too small or not "worthy" of taking them in somewhere. But what I found was that I could revive my wardrobe and be reunited with pieces I used to love and had forgotten about. Daniela altered my boyfriend's items just as perfectly, and he had no need to return for adjustments (he is very particular about the way things fit him or feel on him). Communication was great, and the work was done on time. We were asked when our deadline was, and it seems that she works her schedule around when her clients need their items. Thank you, Daniela - Even though I hired Daniela almost a year ago, I am finally writing this review now, because I needed to look her up again for more repairs! I bought wedding gown at Demetroio's at Tampa. I almost did alteration there but they were about charged me $400 for hemming. My dress needed hemming, chest, adding bustle. I looked around in Pinellas county for good alteration place. Daniela answer the phone, and she was super nice, so I decided to go check it out. She told me no problem to fix it for you, will be around $200. I have such a small chest, and my dress had 5 layers of soft skirt, and dress shape was so hard to fit on my chest. Dress need to take in on the side, center of chest, add push up cup inside of dress, add extra string holes for corset, add bigger cloth under string. I mean it was major work. Daniela did awesome job!!! She worked so much on my dress to fit right. She made sure I'm comfortable, and looks good. She used to work for ballroom dancer's dresses and costumes. She knows how to work with dresses and every cloths. I believe she has the best deal. I paid $175 for everything!!! She is the best. If I were rich, I would pay more, just because she is awesome... I 100% recommend for everybody for any alteration needs. read more

I was looking for a place close by my school and stumbled upon New Look Alterations. At first glance, I was a little put off by the location. It is in an empty plaza on Park Blvd and the parking spaces are close to the street with heavy traffic. But upon walking in to New Look, Daniela was very welcoming and immediately got me into a dressing room to start fitting. I had 3 pairs of dress pants that needed to be altered (2 of them for length and 3rd needed to be taken in at the waist). Daniela got me in and out quickly, and they were ready for me by the next week. I told her I'm terrible at remembering dates (other than deadlines for school), so she was nice enough to give me a reminder call. 5 stars! Daniela is great! read more

Only draw back to New Look Alterations is the extended closure; stopped by today (May 1st) to have clothing altered and the place is closed till July 5th. She re-built some existing window drapes for a home remodeling project. My nephew was starting his career in New York City and she tailored some new work clothes for him when the department stores had nobody on staff. Daniela gave me the confidence to buy high end European clothing on eBay and she has made everything fit perfectly. With her help, my closet has had a major overhaul. No longer do I need to rent tuxedos. If what you are wearing has her nod of approval you know it fits perfectly; if it does not she may very politely tell you so.
