I brought in a pair of work pants that had ripped in my back right pocket. I brought it in to have them fixed. They said come back in a week. I came back and they said it was still not done. Come back tomorrow. So I do. I go home, look and it's literally the worst sewing job I've ever seen. Pretty sure I could have done better. Not to mention it still has a hole. See the picture below.

Recently I dropped off several items that then were lost by the cleaners. The woman in the back who does the dry cleaning described my clothing and clearly remembered them. The manager indicated that they had no record of me dropping them off, no evidence on security cameras and that I must have FORGOTTEN where I took them. Needless to say I'm just out a pair of trouser jeans, dress shorts and two nice shirts. How convenient!

In a nutshell my experience was horrible never ever have I patronized a establishment where there was no price listing . $66.13 for 4 pair of never worn slacks and 4 days to complete. Absolutely price gouging of the community as well as highway robbery never in all my travels throughout this country have I paid this much for alterations this price is double Los Angeles or San Francisco prices . In efforts to lower my blood pressure I won't even begin to critique the quality of this job a high school home economics student could have done better! No shade but face it one would expect near perfection at these prices ! Never again . Owner is old and crazy. Stopped in on a Friday to get a simple patch made. Told me she might be…read moreable to do it over the weekend, but had lots of orders. Told her that was fine and to call whenever. Stopped in today, the following Thursday. All I did was ask if done, yes or no. She told me she was working on making 12,000 patches for the military base, and I said I understood, large orders take priority. She got immediately defensive and said that order was before mine, so why would she work on mine. I said ok, let me know and left. 20 mins later, I get a text stating the following: "This is the Gators Sewing Depot, if you didn't notice, this is the sign that I have posted in my shop (She attached a picture). I do my best to meet everyone's demands but unfortunately some have higher priority than others. I built this business from the ground up and I will make all of the decisions around here and NO ONE will force me to change them. Lastly, I'm not someone that's very fond of sarcasm! Since there aren't that many embroidery places in town, and she was the first to pop up in the google search, that is why I chose her...big mistake! She said she could embroider what I had, but was very rude about it. I had nicely told her it was custom made and irreplaceable and then she went on and on about how accidents happen in a very cocky, rude way, so much to the point where I felt I should just use one of the other places in town to have what I needed embroidered. I should have followed my gut instinct. She said she would have the embroidery "drawn out" in a couple days so I could look at it before she sewed it on. Well, a couple days passed and I didn't hear anything so I called and left a message. She never called me back, so I called a couple days later and left another message, still no call back. At this point, it's been over a week and I haven't heard anything from her. I finally got a hold of her and asked when I could come pick it up and she was very rude and said I could come then and hung up! Then, I get to her house and she pretty much throws what I had dropped off at me and didn't even apologize....talk about bad customer service!!!! So rude!!! I took it right then to Custom Creations and they were nice and it is going to be ready in less than a week. Wish I had taken it there to begin with, live and learn I guess.
