Lina & Ally's Tea Shoppe - Another tearoom.

Lina & Ally's Tea Shoppe

(1 review)

Being an avid tea drinker, I have been wanting to visit this place for a while. I finally did when…read moreI went to sell/barter a table with the store (not something they usually do rather a FB Marketplace transaction). I think this is a good place to have some relaxing downtime with a few friends or family members by booking one of their cute, decorated tea rooms. I can see this being very cute for little ones who want to have a tea party or something too. They mentioned that they also help host larger tea events. There were a few locals when I went in and everyone seemed to just be relaxing. The people running the store are the nicest people I've met in town and seem to be of excellent service. Lina & Ally's serves warm drinks and some snacks. I only had a hot chocolate with marshmallows. Considering it was from a Keurig, it was pretty good. I wish I could speak more about the products but perhaps I'll update this review later on that front. There are some interesting specialty drinks I'm looking forward to trying. I was a little confused when I stumbled in because it is hard to tell what's going on in the large space and there is a lot going on. It dawned on me that this is also a local gift shop. There is a small jewelry counter and tables set up selling gift baskets, specialty foods, cosmetics, home decor, and even some baby clothing. I looked at their Facebook page and saw they advertise specials on these items if you are in the market for stuff and want to shop local.

To us, this was the nicest store in Roswell...so nice we came here twice actually!…read more As soon as you walk into Hangar 209 you are greeted warmly by one of the employees. I believe they even offered us free coffee and they are dog friendly so we were also greeted by some adorable pups! I love that and I especially love any space that makes our dog feel welcome. The vibe and aesthetic are relaxed and luxurious and it's immediately apparent that they're selling very good quality merchandise. I spent a lot of time looking at their custom shirts and sweaters and my husband spent a lot of time looking at their beef jerky. They have a local line called abduction jerky that had an amazing variety of flavors. On our first visit we were still checking out the downtown area so we grabbed some snacks and drinks and headed out but after touring the town a bit more and realizing what a gem this store actually is, we headed back before we ended our day so that we could pick up some more items. How often do you find a shop with ONLY 5 star reviews? This place is a gem. It really feels like they have something for everyone. If you're exploring the area and you're looking for a shop that's a bit more thoughtful, welcoming and well done, this is the place.

Came in expecting a coffee house and some gifts. Turns out we were all wrong. Coffee was free…read more Staff were super friendly. T-shirts and merchandise had a cool art deco future retro feel. There are Velcro patches w cool Roswell logos. We were impressed with the t shirt designs. Unique designs not found at other shops. Definitely worth a stop.

You don't exactly stumble into Roswell Spacewalk expecting NASA-level realism you go because you're…read moreready to space it up and have a good time. And I'll tell you what... they've got the sci-fi sounds humming, lights dancing, and just enough weirdness to make you feel like you took a wrong turn somewhere past Earth. Is it a little generic? Sure. But if you walk in with the right attitude and maybe a drink or two whispering bad decisions in your ear it turns into a pretty dang fun ride. It's the kind of place where you catch yourself grinning for no good reason and thinking, "Well... this ain't right, but it ain't wrong either." And look, I'm just gonna say it there were a lot of folks in there enjoying themselves, good energy all around, and yeah... easy on the eyes, not gonna lie. The whole thing felt light, playful, a little goofy but in a way that works. It's not trying to change your life, it's just trying to give you a good time, and buddy, sometimes that's all you need. By the time you walk out, you're not asking if it was perfect you're just nodding your head like, "Yep... that made the list."
