The young lady behind the counter, Britney, took on the task without blinking an eye. Just had to come back in a couple days. When I made the pickup you could not tell there had been an issue and the little Bear looked all perfect again, and ready to go to its new owner at the local hospital. A sleep apnea diagnosis requiring a CPAP machine brought me in. They have a contract to kick out these devices to service members via Fort Sill's clinic paying most of the tab for the USG. And they clearly know that. The staff was generally laissez fair, tricked out in "scrubs" without any sense of urgency or personal interest. They already broke out the main device without me even having a choice. So, the reason for the 2 stars: I got the distinct impression - shared by a colleague with the exact same experience - that the person that helped us was more concerned about filling the order (with proper pricing) defined by doctor than what I really needed. They glossed over the equipment with a clear lack of empathy or a demonstrated familiarity with the kit indicating it was personal preference. Wow. Essentially, fill the order, give general guidance (nothing is returnable), and let the customer know what they didn't have and they'll let you know when it's in. More to the point...the implied message is that customer service is secondary to filling the order...probably due to the fact they are a sole proprietor or one of a few in the area. How they run out of stock is beyond me when they know they'll be paid and the government will keep sending them "clients" (using the term loosely as the rep was more concerned about billing me properly than whether I knew how to use this completely foreign equipment). Two stars may be too generous and the staff and owners will soon find out that more is expected...especially when you are on the USG gravy train. Bottom line: they clearly feel like they have the market cornered and have tired of effectively dealing with the people side of the business. Very disappointing and, if I was you...spend your money or your insurance company's money somewhere where the customer actually matters.

They took my payment details, and I assumed everything was set. But two weeks before the event, I emailed to check on the status. Three days later, they finally replied: They'd had an issue processing my card and simply decided not to follow up, so my order hadn't even been started. On top of that, they never answered their phone, making it impossible to reach anyone. Frustrated, I gave up on them and called Super Thin Ribbons instead. Marcy patiently answered all my questions and helped me place the order right away. A couple of days later, my old CO mentioned that I was entitled to a few additional medals from my Gulf War service (unit citations and the like) that I was didn't know about. I called Marcy back, and she cheerfully added them to my order, then shipped everything the very next day. She was so concerned about getting it to me in time for the ball that when the tracking info stalled a few days later, she immediately offered to remake the set and rush-ship a replacement. Thankfully, it wasn't needed--the carrier located the package the next day and updated the status to show it was in my state. I received my beautiful ribbons and a fantastic set of mini medals a full week before the ball, and they look incredible! My entire experience with Super Thin Ribbons was 100 times better than anything I'd dealt with before. I highly recommend them for all your medals, ribbons, and mini medals needs--they're reliable, responsive, and truly go above and beyond.

Getting a response felt like pulling teeth, and when I finally did, it didn't even matter because the pricing was completely inconsistent. I was given a quote when I dropped off my items, only to receive an invoice TWO WEEKS later for nearly double the amount. No explanation, no heads-up--just a completely different price like that was normal. When I called to ask about it, the owner was shockingly rude. Instead of addressing the discrepancy, he immediately got defensive and accused me of wanting everything for free--which was never even remotely the case. Not once did he acknowledge that the invoice didn't match the original quote. It was dismissive, unprofessional, and frankly insulting. To top it off, when I said I'd just come pick up my shirts instead, his response was basically "good," as if he didn't want the business in the first place. That says everything you need to know.
