First time ever doing this process. They did an excellent job stripping down the frame for my 1965…read moreImpala. All of the surface rust is gone. All of the paint is gone. It looks like it must have when it was made at the factory. I've seen what a sandblasted frame looks like and now I've seen what a dipped frame looks like. The sandblasted frame has rust inside and hard to get at areas. The dipped frame is spotless inside and out. No missed areas. The surface of the blasted frame is rough and will be difficult to cover and get a good paint finish. The dipped frame will need very little prep and have an excellent finish. The shop is very accommodating to schedule drop off and pick up. They can hold your trailer if you need them to while your stuff is getting dipped. They are willing to work around the weather so your stripped items aren't going out in the rain. Oh, don't forget CASH. I didn't read the top of the invoice when I dropped off my frame. I was only interested that the frame was recorded properly, The top of the invoice says "no credit cards". Imagine my surprise when I got there to pickup. Laura set me straight. Fortunately there is a bank nearby, or maybe your good friend will let you borrow from the Bank of Goodbuddy, like mine did. I'll be back with the body next year. Thanks, Laura.
