Our garage door warped in the cold weather and needed to be replaced. I looked through the Yelp…read morelistings and chose Affordable Garage Doors because it was local in Las Cruces and had a great review. I called and spoke to the repair person, Rudy, who answered my call immediately on Monday. He said he'd be by to look at the situation within two hours which he did. He pointed out the cracked beam which I could see and recommended replacing the door. He quoted me $1500 plus tax and I agreed. We made an appointment for 8:30 am on Wednesday. Rudy came on time and had the door installed by noon. He said he's been doing this for 30 years. He was easy to work with and did excellent work. Everything he said he would do he did at the time he promised. I was very impressed with him.

This created a dangerous situation and was absolutely impossible for us to fix ourselves, not to mention our car was trapped under the garage door. This occurred on a Friday night and we thought it would be hopeless to get it fixed over the weekend. Affordable Garage Doors came to the rescue, arriving mid afternoon on Saturday. Ismael did an outstanding job fixing the garage door within an hour, and was so professional, not to mention personable. I have nothing but great things to say about the responsiveness, his work ethic and knowledge about what he was doing. We were incredibly pleased and very satisfied and would highly recommend this company!

Albert is very professional and checked his crew's work several times during the process. The crew got here at 6:30 AM and worked hard in this heat to provide me with a great finished product! We unfortunately had a very disappointing experience with El Paso Paint Kings, owned by Albert…read more We have used this company on two different homes and have referred multiple people to them in the past. Because of that history, we trusted them with restucco work and a roof resurfacing project. After they restuccoed our home, a crack appeared. They came back to repair it, but within a week the crack returned. Since then, we have been trying to get them to come back and properly address the issue, with no resolution. It has now been about a year since we paid to have our roof resurfaced. We have a signed contract and invoice showing payment for the resurfacing work. However, Albert is now denying that his company performed the roof resurfacing -- despite his signature being on the receipt. We have provided documentation, yet we are still not receiving follow-up or inspection of the roof to ensure there are no leaks. A proper power wash was also part of the agreement and has not been addressed. Repeated calls and texts have gone unanswered. As repeat customers who referred others, this has been extremely disappointing. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend this company. If you are considering hiring them, proceed with caution and ensure all work and follow-up commitments are honored.

It beautifully matches the Victorian look of the safety railings he designed and installed to our front porch. This easy to climb, well-lit staircase replaced a huge, decaying wood staircase that blocked two windows and was poorly lit. Not only is the staircase exactly right to give us more garden space, but the "boing" of walking daily up and down the stair steps (which have holes to prevent icy spots) has improved my bad knee. That was quite unexpected. Much better than the concrete steps I originally wanted. Thanks to Hugo!
