Though I live on the South Shore, I made the trek all the way out here. Getting a bowling ball…read moredrilled is something that usually happens only once, and I wanted to make sure it was done right, and to minimize any risk of my ball cracking. If they sell it to you drilling is included (I think) but I had purchased my own. Rates are competitive at $30 or $50 depending on your ball. Well, being used to ill fitting, beat up house balls, my new ball took a little getting used to, but a couple days ago I set a personal record of 165! At a company league game to boot! I don't remember the name of the person taking care of me that day, but if memory serves he is Barry's son. He was exceptionally patient in helping me find the right configuration for me. This is especially noteworthy when I tell you how indecisive I was. Thing is, it is possible to plug and redrill a ball, but that is something I'd like to avoid. I was reassured though that they would do everything they could to make sure I was satisfied. After the drilling was complete, I went out on the lanes to bowl a game. When I found that I would have liked the finger holes opened up a little more, they helped me out without a problem. Though I'd have to go back to Lowell, when my ball needs some TLC, I would happily drive back out here for resurfacing or what-have-you.

It was a simple introduction and he forced me to leave, refusing to even talk to me once I asked why he wouldn't shake my hand (thought maybe it was because I'm brown or a girl), he told my hat was "the issue." Guarantee wouldn't have been a problem if it was an Obama or HRC hat. Not a local business worth supporting.

Customer service, helpfulness, and the feeling that you matter are important. I don't expect to get treated like King SH, in fact I don't "expect" anything - it's up to the other to demonstrate whether they deserve my business, my loyalty, and Next Level gets that done every time. It's been my store since day one. Day one I found the atmosphere friendly and respectful. I especially like that they have a computer set up for customers to do the back ground check form. No messy paper work to mess with! Everything rolls and they get you done fast - love it! They stand behind their products, stand behind you 110% and you'll never feel like a red headed step child calling back with questions or for help. Perhaps that's because, like myself, they're veterans. I don't know but you feel it right away. I just purchased my third firearm from them, a Walther PPQ .45. I called, came in, and bought it - no hemming and hawing. If Brian was surprised at how fast and decisive I was from phone call to coming in he needn't have been, Next Level has earned my loyalty and trust. And Brian is just great along with others there I've dealt with. As usual he took the time to go over the piece like a friend would. I hope I haven't come off as, well, like overly fawning, etc. but I really like Next Level.

Arriving at the shop I found a densely packed pro-shop that tended toward hunting rigs (which is not a bad thing....it's just a reasonably well stocked shop in need of a bigger space that is stocking what the market demands) and a multi-lane indoor 20 yard target range. The man behind the counter was with another customer but greeted me promptly and indicated he would not be long. (If I had a penny for every gun/hunting shop that completely ignored me upon entry.......so this was a welcome turn.) Noticing there was another customer in the store a gentleman who had been on the line shooting set his bow down, and introduced himself as the owner and shook my hand. He too was extremely helpful, answered my questions and offered some qualified advice after learning the "target/competition" direction I was leaning toward. Basically I got a very good vibe from the owner and his staff and was assured if I purchased my bow through them I would receive a full compliment of expert tuning and fitting services as well as 2 months free access to the shooting lanes. I feel confident that I found the best full service pro shop in the Northeast Region. Lots of places can sell you a new rig but most leave you high and dry when it comes to providing expert assistance with fitting and tuning. Super glad I dropped by Big Al's. Next step is a short appointment with the owner to check a few key measurements (draw length etc.) before we place my special order for a left hand 2018 Hoyt Prevail. If my first impression was typical of their service I'm looking forward to doing business with them. (I'll provide updates once we get the bow in and I have a chance to work with them on fit and tuning.)

They look it up and give you a number. For me, it was 80% of what the firearm was going used for online. So I should've been able to sell it there for $525, but they told me $425. 3) If you tell them you want to cosign, they look up the serial, look up the price, and you do not like the price and tell them you're not interested, then they charge you $10 for "doing the research". I hope Nashua's Granite State range is still a good place for cosignment. I haven't gone there yet. It was such a great option at Shooter's. Myself and a bunch of my friends had cosigned multiple firearms through them in the last couple of years. It used to be a great experience.
