I spontaneously signed up for his India classes. My experience with him in India was nothing but disappointing. Khabir was late to every class session by at least 30 minutes because he was shopping or having lunch. Classes consisted with students taking turns reading from the book which we had all already done in preparation before coming to India and while waiting for Khabir to arrive to class. I learned next to nothing and left extremely disappointed in the money I had spent to travel across the world. I would not recommend investing in these programs if you are a student intent on growing for career purposes. There are teachers who truly embody the art and science of Ayurveda who will instill much deeper knowledge in you. Edit: Since posting my review Khabir has been emailing his clients as a request for 5 star reviews in exchange for free gifts and discounts. He has also blocked me and this same review on Facebook. The 5 star reviews left for the course were written by students who initially expressed unhappiness with the course to me. I can only guess why they changed their mind. The "testimonials" on his site are clearly all in favor of him, why would he include anything other than on his own website?? In my opinion, trying to cover up the truth is NOT a sattvic quality and I would wish better for any human in my life, especially one calling themselves a healer and teacher. When I expressed my concerns during the course of his lack of actual teaching Khabir responded the the root of suffering is expectation. That I should have no expectations of the course and therefore I would not be disappointed. ?!??!??! I hate to spend any more time dealing with this but cannot with good conscious keep this to myself with the hopes of saving anyone else the disappointment and money of flying all the way to India to experience this "class". The first time I visited Leah was for an eye problem pain which wasn't going away. I was fed up, I saw doctors but no one could tell me what it was. I decided to make the trip up to Ojai for nutritional testing. I thought, perhaps it was a food allergy. It turned out it wasn't. The body (muscle) testing showed it was a build up of Heavy Metals and some other narly things which i was adversely reacting to. All in all, it was a very pleasant 40/50 minute session as Leah muscle tested and blitzed through countless herbs and remedies to get to the underlying cause.
