I've had many massages here. I first came for prenatal massage and it was so amazing because I was so sore and they had the special pillow so I could lay on my stomach. You aren't supposed to nor can you easily lay on your stomach while pregnant. Then I started getting couples massages with my husband after the baby was born and I was sore from carrying the baby in my arms. We've been very happy with all of the masseuses here, everyone is friendly, and the building is very calming and pretty. read more

One of the best massages I've ever had. Izzy listened and focused on the areas where I was really need tension release, and it was obvious that she knew exactly where she needed to target during the massage. Great place, excellent customer service - highly recommend! read more

I had a 90 minute massage. I hadn't had one in a long time so my body was full of knots. My masseuse worked tirelessly on what was probably a difficult session. Office staff was excellent at arranging appointments so my husband and I could be seen at the same time. read more

Great customer service while making the appointment. Jamie was kind and knowledgeable and explained what the treatment was and what it would do in ways I could understand. read more

I've been getting massages for years from different massage therapists throughout Ventura County (including Massage Envy). On the recommendation from a co-worker, I have been seeing Dana Garcia at Embody Wellness in Ventura. I've finally found the perfect massage therapist! She is the BEST massage therapist I've ever had! She's absolutely amazing! She's extremely knowledgeable and seems to be able to "read" your body, finding the muscles and tendons that need to be worked on. I cannot recommend her strong enough and if you're searching, like I was, she will be the only massage therapist you will ever want to go to!!! She is A+! read more

Great experience from start to finish. Booking online was easy, the therapist (Alvaro) was friendly and professional, and the space itself was very clean--which really matters to me. Most importantly, I felt amazing afterward. I went in with a ton of tension in my neck and limited range of motion, and left feeling so much better and more relaxed. I've already recommended this place to others and will absolutely be back once my budget allows. read more

I have not felt this good in months. I wake up everyday with chronic pain and today the pain is very minimal! Super happy, Geraldine is great and professional. read more

Such a wonderful experience! Saul and Adriana took such good care of my husband and I. A much needed body reset. Thank you again.

I have been getting regular massage with Saul to address some overuse injuries and a different injury related to a fall. It has been a ,ongoing journey to get mobility back but thanks to Saul I was able to get through my physical therapy and back into activities like pickleball, swimming, and no more anti-inflammatory meds. I know that Saul's work was critical to my ability to perform my PT and get off the pain meds. The addition of Dr Denise at Embody for Chiropractic has been fabulous-she is gentle, takes her time, and is now a key part of what I am calling my personal critical care plan since prevention of pain and disease will be my best offense and defense in an uncertain health care future. read more

Had a massage and facial by Dana. It was the most amazing experience. Left there with a sense of wellbeing and inner peace. Spread the word, there would be no war if all could have a spa day with Dana and staff at Embody Wellness. Highly recommend Embody Wellness experience for your spa day. Kathe G read more

I love the wholistic approach to healing at Embody Wellness. They have so much more knowledge than a normal masseuse. Their massages are targeted to healing the root cause of your discomfort. I've gotten so much insight into why I have aches and pain, what lifestyle changes I can make to compliment the massage therapy, and they have classes to support these changes. They help me avoid doctors, pills and procedures. And the therapists and staff are all super kind and friendly. read more

My wife and I recently tried Embody Wellness for the first time and we loved our experience! The entire team from the Front Desk to the Massage Therapists were all excellent. Such positive vibes and happy energy all around. My wife had Abby for a 90 minute Prenatal Massage. She felt so comfortable and safe during the session. Abby is a true professional and took great care of my wife who is far along in the pregnancy. I had Dana for my session. I was in desperate need to destress and relax. Dana really took the time to listen and helped all my stress melt away. She even tailored the music to help the session so I was floating as soon as she started. I loved that she has such perfectly firm pressure and soothing techniques. I can't wait to work with her again! Overall my wife and I loved our experience. We highly recommend this location if a quality massage experience at a great price is your thing. 10 out of 10 highly recommend. read more

I've been getting facials with Dana for over a year now, and she has helped me with my adult acne so much. We alternate between facials and peels to remove my scars and prevent breakouts and my skin has been looking so clear. I'm feeling so much more confident thanks to her! Plus, she makes the facials extra special and relaxing with a neck and shoulder massage. I always leave feeling pampered. read more

Abbie was wonderful. She was calm and considerate. She is knowledgeable and well-trained. The wellness center is well done and zen. I had a 90-minute massage with Dylan a few weeks ago and it was the BEST!! Not only did he listen to my concerns/needs, but skill and pressure level were great. Additionally, I'm not a super big talker while getting massaged, but also feel weird asking for a quiet massage once its started. I didn't have to worry about that and he did a fantastic job. Definitely going back. read more

SERVICE: (BAD STUFF) The process is a bit odd for me, but am willing to adapt. The site isn't updated which could irritate me or accept and move on. You make your appointments via text which I know is becoming the norm into the future but I am NOT a fan. I'm old school and prefer business calls and emailed notifications. I HATE multiple text notifications. All to say, if you're a texter or a younger person, this is not a problem for you lol. I also had a little trouble finding the place. However, my first time was at night. I learned the front door is closed off so you use the back door as the main entrance (I have a picture of the correct entrance). (GOOD STUFF) Once arrived, staff were friendly. Prices were good to me. Place was clean with typical massage facility vibes (images attached). In addition, what I absolutely appreciated were the basic background questions, heated bed, and masseuse's doing what I asked. I say this because one question asked about dislikes/aroma's, which I am not a fan of. Sprays, splashes, scented oils, etc. give me a headache and/or just smell bad. Therefore, I appreciated what was used. hmm, I could consider bringing my own products. I also loved the heated bed. Third, I said what was bothering me and both did what was asked which was to focus on certain areas. Thank you! OH! Another reason why I like them is because they're open till 6pm which works for me because I have time to leave work and get a massage. What I absolutely can't stand are businesses that close when I get off from work. I mean, when are the people supposed to be serviced, when we skip work? Thanks Embody! WORK: My first time going I had Saul. Nice guy. He enjoyed my responses which were a bit funny. He's good for deep tissue. He listened, though I think in moments forgot lol but went back. All good. He was considerate with asking if I was ok. The second experience was with Alvaro. Great hands and elbows lol. I think my body vibed with him a bit more. Again, also attentive. Great pressure. WELL: I will definitely, definitely return. My only reasons for the 4 instead of the 5 is due to the website and texting lol. I hate it. Till then, great experience while physically in the space. read more

My husband and I went for a couples massage. First off: texting them for an appointment was super easy and they got back to me right away. We ask for a specific time and they did some shuffling and was able to accommodate us. The facility was clean and the staff were very friendly. The room had a very relaxing ambience and I loved the heated table. Dana was great she had just the right touch and I think my husband said the same about Alvaro. I will definitely be going back maybe even next time for a Facial with Dana. read more

I was recommended Embody by someone that was a therapist but was leaving the job. I was coming off a major shoulder surgery and wanted to use massage as part of my recovery. I got paired with Dana and she was fantastic. She was able to help with scar tissue and all the soreness that came from tough PT. Now I am a regular client and can't recommend Embody or Dana enough. read more

Alvaro did my prenatal massage and it was just what I needed. I plan to schedule a massage monthly. The room was clean and serene. The massage table was warmed to a super comfy temp. They provided a refreshing cup of cold water before and after my massage as well. The blanket/sheet felt so great on my skin. I enjoyed the smell/essence of the environment. There is plenty of parking in the back of the place. There is lots of lotions/oils and books to purchase. I can't wait to schedule my next appointment. I even bought a gift certificate for my significant other as a birthday present the place is organized, quiet and clean. They have outstanding reviews with almost a 5 star rating which is what drew me to this place in the first place. I will continue to recommend this place to others, read more

Top quality massage for sports athletes, especially those weightlifting as a hobby. Alvarado is the one!

I'm here to state that almost 3 years later, Tammy is still the absolute best masseuse I've ever had. I have never been disappointed. I had pain in my lower left side above my hip. I thought it might be my kidney or liver, whatever is there, so I was going to have the doctor check it out. But after leaving Tammy's massage, the pain is gone! And hasn't returned; it's been a month. I'm seeing her again in a couple days and my body can't wait lol. read more

Tammy was awesome! Her touch was exactly what I needed. Not too soft, yet firm enough to make a difference. She truly focused on my problem areas due to my pregnancy. And she allowed me to enjoy the peace and quiet of the room which was large & comfortable. At 39 weeks, the pregnancy pillow was such a relief on my back and well worth it to add-on for me to have a regular massage experience without being forced to stay on my sides which are all I've been able to do the past few months. I left feeling really good and taken care of. I hate that I waited so far along in my pregnancy to find this place but I'll be back post delivery for another massage. Oh! I was also able to book my appointment via text! Super convenient! read more
