Ummm, just let me start with the dried bloody scab on the sheet under the blanket on the bed.. EWWWWWWWW We slept on the opposite bed needless to say. Then when I get home I developed ringworm? Connection? Hmmmm Nice people though

Love the location of this place and pet friendly. Cute, tacky, comfortable and cheap. Takes military and veteran discount. Very friendly owner. Don't expect any amenities other than basic stuff like wifi. Room has a 56 inch flat screen w satellite. Perfect for resting over night after a long camping trip or 4 wheeling adventures.

With so many things to do outdoors I'm Leadville. It was nice to be able to come back and have a nice hot shower, prepare our own food, and a choice of places to sleep in the home. They are bigger than they look. The patio was nice for my morning coffee, and the peace and quite of the downtown location was unreal. Plenty of restaurants and shops near by, but a little place of your own when you just need a little privacy. I will definantly visit the R.V. Corral again to stay at one of their other tiny homes. They have quite a few to choose from. All designed just a bit differently from the last. It is a vacation that is incredibly affordable and one you won't soon forget.

Second, it is cute inside...not alot of room of course but if you are a young couple or very athletic you would do well. We are both 76 years old and climbing a straight up ladder up and down to a loft was difficult to say the least. Using the bathroom at night was scary on the ladder! The loft has a mattress on the floor which to us was not comfortable. Very firm but I guess that's because it was on a floor. Hit my head six times! As I said it's very cute inside and everything you need is supplied for you kitchen wise. Plus a good sized refrigerator.

Very Nice Hotel This…read morehotel is really, really nice. We opened the door to not one but two queen beds. (We only needed one.) Very comfortable night's sleep. We had a corner room with an extra window. However, we were on the 2nd floor, so not much foot traffic and no loud, noisy patrons. It does have a-c for the few days you need it here. The entire hotel is immaculately clean. I don't know how they do it, with all the truckers and bikers & hikers... The breakfasts are great; they had just about everything: hard-boiled eggs, waffles, cereals, coffee, tea, herbal tea, hot water that was 24/7, and of course all the fixin's. I guess I kept my "do not disturb" sign out too long, for we were skipped over with the maid service for the two nights we were there. Oh, well.. my fault! This place is definitely worth a revisit.

The Bad: Shower head was NASTY!!! The fan in the bathroom was loud and dirty No AC/Heater (but the front desk did provide me with a portable heater) The window screen was broken and have holes on it. The WiFi was off and on Their cable TV sucks, I couldn't able to change to another channel using their remote. The Good: Their breakfast and the dinning area was awesome!! It's looks like they have a Super8 type of room but the breakfast looks like a Hilton because they have everything from waffle maker, cereals, bagels, hard boiled eggs, banana, coffee, juice, etc.... They have plenty of table to seat, there are some beautiful pictures hanging on the wall and a TV. Pretty nice area to enjoy your breakfast. Their housekeeping was pretty good too!! Normally I don't like people making my bed but after running the trail marathon and come back to my room with my bed nicely made and everything was organized, I was impressed. Their bed is firm, very comfy, the pillows were ok, sheets and cover are clean. The hot shower feels amazing after being on the trail all day!! JUST BRING YOUR OWN SHOWER HEAD!!!! Overall if you just want a place to shower and crash after a day of activities exploring the town or mountain biking or hiking the trail, this place is for you.

We were pleasantly surprised by the wetbar with microwave and refrigerator in the suit. Our suite adjoined the dinning hall where breakfast began with vigor at 5:30 am. The rustic floors sleek letting you know where the people above you are at at all times and the squeaks of the springs on the bed keep you informed or your neighbors night of rest. What a treat. The room was clean and the rate was good but there isn't much else to praise about the accommodations. The room we booked was very basic with an OK queen-size bed. However, there were two things lacking in the room that I expect even with a basic motel. The room did not have air conditioning and it was fairly warm the day we checked in. We also had to deal with more noise from the parking lot in the morning with the window open. The second complaint is that there was just one outlet in the entire sleeping area of the room. That one outlet had a triple tap and an extension cord plugged into it, with multiple lamps, the TV, and the coffee maker plugged into it. Finding a place to plug in a laptop or phone charger was quite challenging and possibly dangerous given the load on that one outlet (which was likely duplicated in the other rooms too).

We thought that was how they all were, until we saw others and discovered that it was only this one particular unit (Lakawanna 1B). No exaggeration, there was not more than 1 person able to be in the entire kitchen at the same time. The second we put 2 people in there to expedite breakfast, we accidentally broke a glass. And of course, felt awful about it! There is a nice area between the cabins for playing horseshoes or other outdoor games, but the weeds are so high that it makes for a challenging game when people are not wearing long pants, as the children in our group did not like to. Also, we discovered that other cabins had very nice back decks with tables to encourage eating outdoors. Ours had a large front deck, with just some dusty plastic chairs. Positives were the amazing view, the ability to get our large group all lodged nearby one another, the comfortable beds, large bathrooms, and the fact that we did not have to put a hefty deposit down. Overall, this resort is fine and I would stay there again - but I would be certain to select one of the other cabins that would allow more space for cooking and family time.

Probably tried to intimidate me. Once I realized I was not charged online I paid, no problem. There is no dog run, no dog poop bags, bowls or treats. Not sure what extra fee was for since they provided nothing. Bed was ok, glad we did not stay additional night. Back would not have been happy. Could use upgraded beds and pillows. Floors could use good cleaning. Felt dingy on bare feet. After fumbling with shower we got the perfect spot for hot water and good pressure. Breakfast was depressing. Room was hot and muggy, choices were usual hotel breakfast food but limited. Parking lot was place to be at night apparently, lots of men drinking modelos and eating from the food truck. The next morning we could see all the trash and empty bottles from the lot party next to dumpsters as they were locked so nobody could place trash inside, not even little hole for our poop bag. Did not want to take inside hotel to place in trash. Def not worth the $180 stay. Would not stay again.

In my opinion, the Inn is pricey for not great quality. The room was clean, but the decor was old and looked like it was not kept up. There are no screens in the windows so you have to close the windows, and the room got very warm. When I showered, the water went all over the side of the tub, which made the floor wet, which was a great inconvenience. Fridge didn't work. Breakfast was sad, there was cereal and a waffle maker. No water.

Never have Yelp reviews been so wrong!…read more I love this place so much that I almost don't want to review it. I don't want to spoil a good thing. This is the EXACT type of place I look to stay (but rarely find) on an outdoors-focused vacation: - Minimalist: I don't need anything fancy, just a bed and AC/Heat - CHEAP: no more than $100 is my goal...this place was only $50, that's FIFTY DOLLARS a night! - Walkability: there is a brewery literally 100ft from this motel! - No fuss: you get a code via email (through Air BnB) and you just walk in. There's no counter, there's not people telling you about some crappy free breakfast, no people drawing on hotel maps, no running out to get your license plate number. You just arrive, type in your code, and you're in your room! The room was tiny but efficient, exactly what we were looking for. It was appropriated with beautiful mountain art, and lots of goodies: soft drinks, waters, seltzers, coffee...all free! Seriously, the fridge is stocked like a fancy hotel that charges you $4 if you dare touch the bottled water but...it's all free here! I already can't wait to go back. Somehow, I doubt it will still be $50/night. Great for the thoughtful new business owners (the negative reviews here are old, and when this place was under different management), a little sad for me. I will still happily pay though. We need more places like this to stay in America!

We stayed here for the weekend of the Leadville 100 mountain bike race. The only good thing I have to say for this place is that the room was clean when we walked in. Other than that, it was not pleasant. First, there was NEVER an attendant in the office; instead you had to call from a phone outside the office door (because there was no phones in the room). A woman would answer who spoke poor English, but she did get my requests right, though I had to wait for her to respond. The room was very dark, with only an overhead light (no lamps). The furniture looked like it had just been bought from a Goodwill auction. It didn't match and was in pretty poor shape (i.e. falling apart). The bed was hard and the pillows dead flat. Also, the shower barely worked and it was very hard to get it to provide hot water. On top of this place being a horrible, they charged over $100 a night, which is outrageous. I'm sure the rates were jacked up for an event weekend. During a normal visit, I wouldn't spend $20 a night for this room. In the end, at all cost, DO NOT stay here. Do your homework and find any other place in town. This place is a DUMP.
