They just recently replaced our kitchen sink and installed an reverse osmosis system that they recommended due to it's ease of use, which is a big help. They installed a water heater with a re-circulation pump and water softener. They also installed bathroom faucets and new hoses to our washing machine and steam dryer. They do good work and charge a fair price our my opinion. We couldn't be happier with this family, who are also are the most pleasant people to work with, including Jerry's wife, Helen, who handles scheduling.

Despite it being a holiday weekend, Jerry came out first thing the very next morning and replaced the entire valve for $600, including parts and labor. That was especially refreshing after a much larger plumbing company had quoted us nearly $3,000 for the same repair. He didn't simply install the valve and leave. He opened multiple faucets and thoroughly tested the system to make sure the pressure remained stable throughout the house. He brought it down to approximately 64 PSI, explained how I could periodically check and adjust it myself, and offered to return and make things right if we experienced any problems. He was responsive, friendly, knowledgeable, honest, and reasonably priced. It felt like he genuinely cared about doing the job correctly and making sure I understood everything before he left. That combination is increasingly difficult to find. He is absolutely our plumber from now on, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

Where was Stubbs Soft Water a couple years ago when we way overspent on our Costco (Superior Water)…read morereverse osmosis & soft water system?! We had Mike out today to make a repair & change filters. I was shocked to learn how much we would have saved if we had used Stubbs instead of Costco! Stubbs would have charged less than half and given us a better system. We had him swap out the reverse osmosis with his model and I can definitely tell the difference in the water. Very Disappointing Service Experience I had a confirmed…read moreappointment this morning, 9/14/26, from 9:00-10:00 AM, to have my one-year filters replaced. I've waited until 11:00 AM, but no one contacted me or provided any update regarding my appointment. I eventually called the service department and spoke with Christine, who handles the scheduling. She told me she would have someone contact me ASAP with an update. Unfortunately, I never received a call. About an hour later, I called back again because I was frustrated and wanted to get the situation resolved. I was then told that a technician was supposed to contact me and let me know that one of the filters had not arrived. My biggest issue isn't necessarily that the filter wasn't available things happen. The problem is the lack of communication. If I had been notified ahead of time that a filter was missing, I could have avoided wasting several hours of my morning waiting for an appointment that wasn't going to be completed. I understand that unexpected issues can happen, but customers' time is valuable too. A simple phone call or notification would have made a huge difference and avoided this entire situation. Very disappointed with how this appointment and communication were handled.

We recently purchased a 4 year old home and it was inspected--we knew the water softener was bad…read more(hence, it was turned off). It was a "garbage can" type of system made by Whirlpool. When we arrived late on a Friday evening, we found the landscaper/irrigation person plugged it in (Thursday afternoon) and it was leaking (located in the garage). It went under the wall and into our walk-in carpeted closet, wetting the carpet. We had to turn off the main water to the home/irrigation that night since the turn-off on the water softener was leaking and bad as well. We dealt with it over the weekend, then consulted our resource book Monday morning (provided by the wonderful Real Estate Agents) and called 2 places, thinking the first one to call back would probably get the job. HavaClear Water called immediately and asked specific questions. (The other place said they don't work on Whirlpool). HavaClear said they'd contact their repair person and he would tack our job onto the end of his day. We received a call that afternoon & Danny said he'd be to our home in 15 minutes. He showed up on time and was so knowledgeable. He walked us through our water softener system, explained how it worked, how it was plumbed, etc. He also went over our R/O system (under the kitchen sink) & educated us on that as well. The R/O system was not operating as well. Danny explained the water softener system he suggested we should install, the cost, as well as the R/O system that he suggested for replacement (with a discounted price since we were doing 2 replacements.) He returned at 8 a.m. Tuesday morning and worked most of the day on the repairs. Additionally, he installed a turn off valve (going into the house & not affecting our outside pool-fill line or irrigation system). He taught us how to turn it off as well as how to place the hot water tank on "pilot" when we are not home. He extended the drain for the hot water tank so if/when it leaks--it will drain across the sloped garage floor and outside (vs. coming into the house). Additionally, we rerouted our plumbing (installed copper) and placed the softener system in a better area. Finally, 2 hose bibs were installed. One has a pressure-measuring valve to monitor our system consistently and one is for washing vehicles (with soft water). Danny EDUCATED us and set us up so if anything happens, we have drainage established (away from the house). Besides fixing/updating our water softener & R/O systems, Danny taught us about them as well as any issues we may encounter and PROTECTED us from future problems with plumbing updates, drainage systems and turn-off valves, hose bibs & pressure measurement installation. And, he said he'd come back if we needed anything. If this had occurred in our home state, we would have paid double for the job, plus we wouldn't have received the extras, plus all the education. We consider Danny a true professional & want this review to reflect the same for others contemplating this sort of work. THANK YOU HAVACLEAR WATER CO.!
