I gave them a call Saturday night and he said he'd have someone out at 8am Sunday morning. The truck showed up on time with two workers. One of them gave his condolences since he had heard my brother-in-law had suddenly passed away 2 months ago. He took a look at my water heater, said they could still use some of the old metal lines and straps, saved me money. Installation was fast and they left the garage cleaner than when they arrived. Forty-five minutes later I had hot water again. They wrote the date of the installation on the heater which was a nice touch. They made everything quick and painless.

We called and they said they could get someone out quickly. Another hour goes by and we called them again to see where they were. We were told 10 minutes away. 5 rolls around and Jason shows up. His excuse was that they were waiting for our property management to call them back but their office called my wife and I individually to make the appointment. The fact we were on the schedule, which they confirmed every time we called, and we didn't hear from their technician is very disappointing. Having to wait an additional 2 hours behind what was promised is not okay. It would have been okay if the technician had called us to let us know he would be late.

We had a problem with the upstairs shower, which was leaking through the ceiling downstairs. And we have had at least 6-7 plumbers and handymen look at it. Some uncles and friends. Some professionals that wanted to get paid just to come over. And they either 1) couldn't find the problem 2) thought it was the grout or tiling, or, and this is what we eventually concluded, 3) thought it was the shower pan. Red Rock Plumbing comes over and agrees to install an affordable bathtub in there, on our request, since we already had the bathtub. And during the demo work, he finds out that it was the pee trap all along, something nobody else noticed. That it hadn't been glued or not well enough. I wish we had them come over from the beginning. We could have saved ourselves a lot of trouble. Anyway, he did an excellent job installing the bathtub and checking everything. Cleaned up. Now we will do the tiling or hire someone else for tiling (since they don't do that). By the way, they do have contacts that can do tiling. It's just not through them.

By the time Servpro arrived my wife and i had cleaned up all the standing water. All Servpro did was put blowers in place to dry the surfaces for 2 days and charged me $2,312 for for placing blowers in the bedroom and hallway. I feel this was an excusive charge given how little they did when they arrived. They left after placing the blowers and came back 2 days later to pick the blowers and then tried to sell me on the idea of replacing all of my LVP on the floor. The LVP is water proof and there was no damage to the the flooring. Servpro is a scam company with abusive charges form what they do. If you ever have any damage to your home call someone else.
