Jeff at A Better Plumbing was referred to us by a trusted source (Outwest Air). We had noticed a…read morecracked water heater on Friday, and feared the worst. We also have had nothing but trouble and issues with plumbers in St. George, so expectations were low. Jeff was a revelation. He took our call on the first ring and was instantly courteous, concerned, and obviously knowledgeable. He quickly diagnosed the extent of the problem, by phone, and did not insist on a higher paid after-hours visit. He thought we could wait until Monday (his first open slot) but told us to call him if things worsened over the weekend. He gave a preliminary estimate, and promised to be on time (a big deal since my wife and I both work.) We were reassured, survived the weekend, and I stayed home from work to meet with Jeff at 9 AM. TIMELY: Jeff called at 840 AM to see if we were ready. Every other plumber we have dealt with has arrived LATE with NO CALL, so this was a pleasant surprise. He arrived a few minutes before 9. Jeff was outgoing, polite and reassuring, and got right down to business. EFFICIENT: We did in fact need a new water heater, which appeared to be a two man job since it was in the rear basement bedroom. I expected this to take all morning. However, Jeff did the entire job himself in less than 90 minutes, including draining/carrying out the old unit, locating and bringing in the new one, and full installation. NO SURPRISES: Jeff's invoice was within a few dollars of the preliminary estimate. We have had NO problems or issues since the work was done (about two weeks ago). CUSTOMER CARE: Jeff made sure we had all his contact info, and firmly instructed us to call him if we had any questions, concerns, or if any issues arose. Also, UNLIKE ANY OTHER PLUMBER WE HAVE USED in St. George, he actually called me the next day to make sure nothing was amiss. He clearly stands behind his work, and we have full confidence in him. High-value work and real, concerned customer service is a rare commodity in southern Utah, especially from experts who essentially have a homeowner at their mercy. I am so relieved that I now know a trustworthy plumbing professional. We will not hesitate to contact Jeff again.

Wow! Saturday afternoon my kitchen drain started to drain slowly…read more I figured it was a clog so I took apart all the pipes under the sink including the one from the garbage disposal. Could not find any clog so I reassembled everything and and started using a plunger covering the disposal to create a tight seal. After 20 minutes, it still drained poorly with a nasty odor added to my woes. At about 4:00pm I started calling around and got nothing but answering services from the "open 24 hours" guys who would gladly book me the following week. I called "Dixie Drain Doctor" and got Steve on the line. I explained my problem and he explained he was booked till about 8:00pm that night but he'd be more than happy to be there at 9:00am Sunday morning to unclog my drain!?! Yep!, He showed up at 8:45am, cheerful and courteous with his "snake machine" He immediately went to work and threaded about 75 feet till he hit an obstruction that was 5 feet in lenght! Ugh! After cleaning up and checking all pipe connections for leaks we were good to go! Expecting a whopping Sunday service charge I was blown away with an invoice close to $100 bucks! Seriously!!!!, he discounted his fee for seniors! I had him also give me a quote for a softwater install and again a very resonable price to what I had been quoted elsewhere. Needless to say this man is a 5 Stars customer service guy! My new 7 days a week, 24 hour, courteous, no bad attitude, professional"Go to guy"! Happy to add my glowing review to the growing list!

Honest, Skilled, and Truly Reliable. A Lifesaver When It Mattered Most…read more I woke up to the sound of water coming from the wall. When I stepped outside, I saw water running down the street and realized my front yard was flooding. It was clear something serious had happened underground. I needed help immediately, so I opened Yelp, an app I rarely use, and the first company I saw was Free Flow Plumbing. The name stood out. I called. No answer. As soon as I hung up, they called me back. That moment of responsiveness meant everything. They sent someone out quickly, and from the moment he arrived, I knew I was in good hands. He was professional, calm, and clear about what needed to be done. He explained the damage, showed me the old pipe, and got to work. The repair was handled with care and precision. No upselling, no vague language, just transparency and solid work. You can tell when someone takes pride in their craft, and this team clearly does. What stood out most to me was the timing. I later learned they had just listed their business on Yelp earlier that week. I truly believe we crossed paths at exactly the right moment. If you need a plumber you can count on, someone who responds quickly, communicates clearly, and does excellent work, Free Flow Plumbing is it. I'm grateful I made the call. They helped restore more than just water to my home. They brought peace of mind when I needed it most.
