It was rich, smooth and flavorful. The flatbread served on the side was warm and filling. We then tried the chicken tikka empanadas. Different from the Salvadoran styles we have tried in the past. It was full of mead that was moist but not greasy. I later found out that the beef empanadas and the cheese empanadas were more traditionally Syrian. They also were delicious and the dipping sauces were great. Lastly the Summer Salad was fresh, unique with candied pistachios, peaches, avocados and whatever else was fresh. The dressing was tasty. The owner was friendly, helped with suggestions and welcoming. We will definitely be back. I'm just sad that it is not located where we live in Sonoma County California.
