New ownership hasn't helped the customer service here. No communication about your vehicle, and they don't answer their phones.

We purchased a vehicle from CarMax and our salesman was awesome…read more The integrity of the service department is where we had issues. We ran into a TPS issue the day after we took the car home. We took it back a couple occasions. It would be reset for a day or 2 and we would wait to get scheduled again for the problem. Eventually, we were told that they couldn't get it fixed and we needed to take the Car to Volkswagen for the repair. We were told we needed to pay for this out of pocket. Needless to say we never took it due to the time it takes and being without a vehicle. A year has gone by and come to find out there isn't even sensors in the tires. When purchasing your vehicle make sure that service area does what is promised. How they could not have known there wasn't sensors is beyond me and frustrating to say the least.

I have bought several cars from Marla's and it's has never been easy but never this difficult. Maybe if I would've found a car with less issues I wouldn't have had to go through the system. I also told her that my experience with Carmax cars is that you buy them and then it's like an Easter egg hunt to find out what's wrong with them before the customer has to actually pay to fix what's wrong with it. In my mind they should be fixing it before they're selling it. I've also was told several times at serval points that a manager was supposed to call me. I did have one call me yesterday from "no caller ID", I did answer, but he did not answer back. So then he ended the call on me. Then he never tried to reach out to me again. Anytime a manager has supposed to have called me, they do not. They waited till the very last minute to tell me that my car was not gonna be finished for the day and that they could not get me a loaner car. Mind you I've had this appointment scheduled for them to have the services completed on my car for a while and they've had my car from 8 AM to 5 PM.

After an initial exchange where I was explicitly promised a sales specialist would reach out with details, photos, and answers regarding the vehicle's reliability for my commute to Cheyenne, I was essentially ghosted. As a serious buyer purchasing for a family member, I had already provided my ID and was ready to proceed with a full-price, cash transaction. I simply needed confirmation that the vehicle was sound enough for my needs. Instead of the promised follow-up, two separate salespeople stopped communicating entirely. A simple courtesy call at the end of the day to explain capacity constraints would have been professional, especially since I was looking at this as the first of multiple future vehicle acquisitions for our family. It is disheartening to experience such resistance on a guaranteed, frictionless sale. I will be directing my business and future purchases to a dealership that values communication and respects its customers' time."

It's got 90k miles and have yet to have an issue with my car. I will always bring my car here no matter how far away I move. I once tried the Littleton Subaru service station (do not recommend) and found that shop tried to rip me off for work that I knew that had already been completed by Mike Shaw. But not before I went in hot headed to the management at Mike Shaw, which responded by calmly taking me on a personal tour under the hood so I could see what was what with my own two eyes. They had indeed completed the services as promised and the Littleton shop was caught trying to dupe me.

Then Greg got involved and he told me for 3 weeks he was going to take care of it and get me the veg I actually needed and wanted. During that time he assured me that it was totally fine to drive the car around despite me worrying about putting mileage on the car, but I'm not keeping. When Greg finally decides to seemingly be ready to get the car for me he informed me that I no longer have a new car and that they could look at treating it in towards the vehicle I wanted while offering me about $19,000 less than I paid for the car 3 1/2 weeks ago!! He wasn't done yet though after waiting until the day before I was supposed to have my wheelchair lift installed on the Forester and after telling me over and over again that he was getting it for me that he just couldn't get it that day.... He has now refused to get the vehicle at all. I went to call to have a conversation with him about this and he is picking up the phone and immediately hanging up on me because I told him that I was done playing his games and having my time wasted and that I absolutely had to have the car today. I was lied to every step of the process and I am now left with a vehicle that is not the car I need or want it does not have the specs that I was told it had and I will not be able to get my wheelchair onto my vehicle leaving me unable to do anything out in the for any links of time because I need my wheelchair! What's worse is that he knows I have a trip planned that is now only 10 days away and because he kept pushing it back and pushing it back if I can't get my Forrester and get it fitted with the wheelchair lift tomorrow as it's scheduled to be, I will have no way to be able to go on this trip that I have spent thousands of dollars on and 11 months planning!!
