Super easy transportation from the front door of our condo to the Gunnison airport. Great value!…read more Special shout out to our driver Scott. We observed an impaired driver in front of us, and Scott did not hesitate to call law enforcement in an effort to remove the driver from the road before someone was injured. We witnessed the impaired driver try to make a turn at a high speed and then crash into a snowbank. We stopped to make sure law enforcement had the required information. We arrived at the airport a few minutes late but had plenty of time to make the flight. All aboard agreed that Scott made the socially responsible decision!

Im going to give a stab at an honest review reflecting on our recent 4 day stay here as I so…read moredesperately tried to find current reviews and they were mixed/hard to find. The pluses...Location is prime (even in summer...I can only imagine how nice in ski season right next to gondola!) Friendly Staff..Jackie the "maintenance Mgr" was the first person I met when I accidentally entered the condo where we were to stay instead of checking in at the hotel side next door. She promptly issued a key and walked me to the room. Very friendly the entire stay! Doug the mgr I never actually met in person but he fielded my many calls/inquiries with warmth/patience and ultimately guided me to choose the condo option. I'm not sure if the condo parking is always included but it was so empty/off season he did provide us a parking pass for the rental car it's great to have covered parking just walk downstairs and get to the car! Speaking of car, Doug assured me no car needed in Telluride and that's true to a degree. If you plan to do nothing but stay in town you can get a shuttle for about $80 per person before tip ea way) and walk anywhere around town or take the little hop on bus if you don't like walking short distances. I know this as I came a day earlier than my husband and did that, but I can tell you how glad I was he arrived with the rental car (get a car unless ur skiing daily). We needed it to get to further trailheads and make side trip to Ourray and to meet his fishing guide Now back to the accommodations..It's SO confusing when you are researching the condos and hotel and trying to find pictures as they vary from unit to unit..we had #204 I will admit I am kind of picky about hotels rooms as I travel for a living and stay a lot of places and I just enjoy a luxurious comfortable room ..when I first walked in I was a little under impressed. It was very large but felt "dated" in decor and we couldn't find anywhere to plug cell phones in by the bed which was inconvenient, the kitchenette looked updated. But to further confuse you, when my husband walked in his impression is wow this is nice (as he took in the spacious living area). I had read about hot rooms/no AC in summer ..lucky for us this one had some type of window air pump in the living area with kitchenette remained quite cool though the bedroom was a bit warm (end of Aug) though the box fan and leaving a window open was fine for us we were comfortable, the bed was fine and the best thing for us was these units have two identical full size bathrooms! Never knew how much I would enjoy my husband having his own space. The bathtubs were very large and since I'm a "bath person" I appreciated that, but they are designed for very tall person and I couldn't get comfortable as the way they are designed you slip down the angled back (I finally figured a way to get myself turned around to put my head sideways on the faucet side to avoid the constant sliding down as my feet couldn't begin to touch the opposite end ..I've never had to describe a tub issue in a review before that's for sure If you are 6'5" and a bath person you will love these! Of course they have the shower as well. One thing that's very important to me is coffee in the morning. I'm not sure if it was an old Keurig or why, but it did not heat the water but the best part of staying in the condos is that they brew Starbucks coffee in the sunroom upstairs. It did seem that by the time I would get coffee at 7 AM it would usually require a little warming in the micro back in the room.. again I'm sure it was an issue with how empty the building was. The only other thing that I can review is, I just couldn't get excited about using the hot tub. Where it was located, kind of dreary and the water was not really hot or good jets. I will try to include some pictures with this review as I was desperately searching. It was not cheap by any means but for the area I think that I would stay here again. I certainly don't have any desire to stay up at Mountain Village. We took the free gondola up there and looked around. It was really dead and deserted this time of year. All in all I would stay here again I would just really try to research the unit. I hope this helps. I tried!

August 9, 2026 - Telluride & Mountain Village, CO…read more Free! During the summer, the gondola is free--and it's pet-friendly. So really, you have no excuse not to enjoy this wonderful experience! The views are amazing, and it wasn't crowded at all, so we had a gondola car to ourselves. Look for the paw prints on the side--every other gondola is pet-friendly. We started at Mountain Village rather than Telluride because there's a free parking lot there during the summer. There are four stations, so you can make the ride as much of an adventure as you'd like. From Mountain Plaza, we rode to Mountain Village Center and walked around for a bit. Then we continued to San Sophia, where we hopped off--only to discover that this station is primarily a jumping-off point for hiking trails. Oops! Back on the gondola we went, continuing to the Telluride Station. After exploring Telluride and having lunch, we rode back up to Mountain Village, where we visited a brewery and then settled in outside to enjoy some live music. When we were ready to head back, it was an easy gondola ride to Market Plaza, where our car was parked. Amazing views, fun destinations, dog-friendly, and FREE. What more could you ask for? This is one of the best travel bargains you will find.

If you want to make a round trip, you'll need to get off at the station and rejoin the line to head back. The gondola moves continuously, so the line goes quickly--we never had to wait long. We got off at the top, walked around for a bit, grabbed a drink, and then rode back down. The ride is a little faster than you might expect, but it's smooth and offers beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. Another huge plus is that it's pet friendly, so we were able to bring Luna along with us. Whether you're using it for transportation or just taking it for the views, it's one of the best free attractions in Telluride.

No cell service within an hour of the property. The staff are sooo welcoming and helpful! Service is one of the best. The all inclusive food and drinks is worth the price of the room! Three meals a day is an experience of its own. We planned our daily activities according to meal time. Love that they have daily group activities. We participated in snowshoeing and it was so much fun. They have all the winter gears for guests to borrow so, don't worry if you didn't pack it all. We stayed in the Echo room, which is the smallest and cheapest. The bed is sooo comfy that we just stayed in bed majority of the time so the size of the room didn't matter. In the winter, Echo room guest uses the steam shower located in the bathhouse to shower. All three hot springs were amazing. We pacifically chose this property for their hot springs and it did not disappoint. The library was well kept, cozy, and organized. -Wi-Fi is spotty. Works here and there, and disconnect. - If you want lunch packed Togo on your last day, gotta tell them I'm advance like at check in. - Laundry service is complimentary, but they ask for 24hr turnover. Ours were returned same day after dinner.

This year, we opted to snowmobile with Telluride Outfitters and I am so glad that we did! It is important that the experiences we provide our client guests with are well executed, and everything at Telluride outfitters was amazing from start to finish. We opted for the Alta Ghost Town tour. We arrived at 9:30 AM to sign the waivers and get our licenses scanned - do not forget your driver's license if you'll be driving a snowmobile. Our guides loaded us up into vans and brought us to the site. Those of us that did not have our own goggles and helmets were provided with them. We were then put onto snowmobiles and taught everything we would need to know. Our group of 14 total people was split up into 3 separate groups for the tour, but we met up as a whole group at each stop along the way. We all really enjoyed learning about the old mine town and local history while soaking in the beautiful views. We did have two of our snowmobilers get stuck in the snow, but the tour guides were so great and helped them out easily. Huge shout out to the incredible team at Telluride Outfitters, specifically Ben, Caleb, and Tate (I think.. I am so sorry if I am misremembering).
