We had done our research on E assist bikes before arriving. Jordan and Jacob did a fantastic job of walking us through the process and answering ALL of our questions. Needed new tires for a vintage bicycle I had just bought. Went to all the Box stores, none had the size I needed. Went to Alpine expecting to pay way more. I was surprised that the prices were identical to the big retailers. I was greeted and helped by the owner. While he was looking for an obscure part, two other employees checked to be certain I was being helped. The owner went above and beyond to find a handlebar stem nut that was missing. My family has purchased items from this location for years. From snowboards to long boards and everything that comes along with them. We took 6 boards in for an edge and wax job and when we walked in the owner was already commanding. After telling us on the phone it would take a day, they insisted they would take 4 days. Saying, they were busy even though there was not one person in the shop. Not only is it overpriced, while they did the work on the boards they were mistreated. There were scratches on the decals on the face of the boards (I have a new board so it was noticeable) and they basically shooed us out of the shop. I made a yelp account because of my disgust in the treatment I received. The owner needs a reality check. I would rather drive 2 hours to get anything than go there again. read more
