There was a greasy chemical applied on one of the binding part, and one of the screws was missing. I called the store and asked for refund because this is definitely not a new product and defective product given one of screws was missing. The store representative said this is definitely a new product even if packagings are open. Also it is my fault for not being able to find a screw because screw must be inside of package. I explained i examined the box very thoroughly and the missing screw is not there. However, he said it must be there, and it is my problem for not being able to find it. He stated that i have to pay for the return shipping because there is absolutely nothing wrong with this product and this is a brand new product. The worst customer service I have ever received. Strongly advise not to buy any product from this store unless you want no customer service. Of note, i left similar review on instagram and facebook, and they blocked my account. I would not trust their positive reviews on those social media because they are blocking anyone who leaves bad comments about them.

I'm super happy that the money i spent at PEOPLE didn't go to waste. I'm even happier that he gave me a few free PEOPLE stickers with my board purchase. he offered to mount my bindings but i declined since i like to adjust them to my liking and they were also about to close. We drove 45 minutes to a closed location that was never indicated during the conversation. Calling again to verify location, and stressing the need for these pieces and that we had another 30 minutes ahead of us, Andrea had no empathy to remain open atleast a couple of minutes. She continued to say we close at 7 and disregarded the fact that she and her employee caused some of this confusion by not disclosing that their previous location is closed. Her lack of empathy and taking some responsibility tells me she should not be a leader of this store or any at this time. If the item was not needed in an emergency uniform requirement, we would not have even tried to make it as I do not spend money where people have no understanding or desire to admit responsibility and do something to make things right.

Lots of variety and they had some great sales happening. I got my club reshafted and gripped for $135. I was very pleased with the price and fast turnaround. I decided to try out a couple new drivers at the golf range while I waited. I really like the driving range setup here. I'll be coming back here anytime I'm in the area. I ordered 3 custom wedges from Carl's Golfland with clearly listed specs in the notes. I even…read moreordered them knowing they were on backorder, so I was already being patient. What I didn't expect was having to follow up just to let them know the clubs came wrong. Their fix? Send me two more wedges... still wrong. From there it turned into a complete mess. THREE different employees got involved, and somehow each handoff made things worse. One reorders, another takes over with zero context, clearly never read the emails or documentation I already sent, and just keeps things moving knowing the clubs were already wrong. No communication, no ownership--just a cycle of confusion. Then they tell me to measure the clubs myself. That's where it really went downhill. I'm paying for custom-built clubs, and now I'm doing their quality control? So I did. I confirmed specs with TaylorMade and even paid a shop to measure everything. Taylor made even said they ordered them wrong. Specs should be true online even if it's a custom standard stock spec. While they said they talked with them. Not a single club was correct. After all that, the manager's solution is basically: send them back. No urgency. No accountability. No real apology. They tell me on the phone they have good customer relationship with TaylorMade. So what was hard to get it right the second time around. Here's what their mistake cost me: * 2 months of credit card interest * Gas running around fixing quality control their problem * Paying out of pocket to verify specs * Hours of wasted time I ordered these ahead of an international trip so I could practice. Now I have no time left and nothing usable because they couldn't get a basic order right. Meanwhile, I placed a similar order through PGA Tour Superstore--they got it right the first time and shipped fast. That's how it's supposed to work. So I can't blame TaylorMade because seems like they are doing their job right. If they get the order right with pga superstore and shipped it to me from their manufacturing facility. Seems like they're not the problem. And just to top it off--I also ordered an iron set from Carl's a while back. At this point, I'll probably have to get those checked too, because based on this experience, I wouldn't be surprised if they messed that up as well. Bottom line: If you're ordering anything custom, avoid Carl's Golfland. Save yourself the time, money, and frustration. Not worth talking to people who can't even do their job ordering without cross referencing manufacture specs. Like McDonald's gets my order partially correct. Not completely wrong. But still have the time to take care of customer's complaint. So who knows when my refund will be issued with compensation. This company just another company willing to take peoples money. We all know golf profit margins around 20-40%. I would never walk in there store or facility. Or even buy online from them again.

Contacted Velofix to assemble my Rad e-bike since local bike shops are overwhelmed and after I…read morefailed to put the bike together myself using Rad's video. Super happy that I did! At first I was kicking myself for spending to have someone else put together the bike when there are videos online. But it makes a world of difference to have a certified bike mechanic do the assembly. He was very thorough, and did a bunch of things I would not have known to do and the Rad video/instructions do not cover, like aligning the wheels and the brakes, checking to make sure that the frame was not bent during shipping, checking to make sure the spokes weren't loose, and so on. He had the specialized tools, waterproof bike grease, and all that for assembly. Rad does not send all the tools needed and my local bike shop did not have the right ones recommended. At the end, he gave an overview of how to ride the bike and waited while I rode around the block. He answered all my questions as a first-time e-bike rider. If you are going to spend the money to buy a decent e-bike, I learned it is completely worth it to have an experienced professional make sure it is in good working order. Excellent customer service!
