Incompetent and unreliable. Kenny charged me $465 for a washing machine repair which I promptly paid. However, the machine did not work after the repair. He said it now needed a mother board which he ordered. He was waiting for it to arrive, said it did arrive and he would come to install. He never came to install. I called him numerous times but he never returned my call. I feel he is dishonest and I will be suing him. read more

Kenny replaced my dryer heating element four years ago, but the parts today don't last forever, so it was time for another replacement heating element with the E 64 code and the dryer not drying. I connected with Kenny on Monday, Knowing we had the same exact problem, he quoted me a very fair price ordered the part that day and said he would be over on Wednesday morning. Like clockwork he was here with the part, and with his friendly efficient service, he was in and out, and with the quoted price and the dryer is hot again. What more could I ask for! I used Alpine Appliance because of my AHS recommendation. However, a Technician came out and damaged my appliance during troubleshooting, and reported it to AHS stating that it was damaged by mishandling and caused us to not be covered by AHS policy. I had to request a second opinion on the diagnosis of the Alpine. It was found that the Alpine was faulty and made a report. They turned around and asked us do we wanted to fix it without AHS. Smh. Trying to rip off people for a few $$$. I am glad that I got another Company and was able to move forward with AHS. read more

Ken is awesome!! I had an Oven that would not heat up to temperature. We setup a time within the next 48!hours at 9am. He was at the door at 9 am right on time. He listened to my description of the problem and he got with to work with his inspection. He diagnosed it was an ignitor that needed to be replaced. Fixed it and the Oven is back to working. He also took the time to recommend a potential electrical issue in the kitchen and provided a referral. Any appliance issues that come up he will be my next call. After using Alpine for many years for any appliance repairs needed, I contacted them last October (2024) for some repairs on my Refrigerator, to address a few items. Bulbs burned out, a broken freezer shelf bracket, an Ice Maker that was working only intermittently, and then while waiting for all of the fixes to be addressed, we had a water line break. Long story short, after paying almost Seven Hundred dollars to Kenny, it is now June, and he addressed only the Bulbs and the water line. He was unable to find/fix the shelf brackets, and I ended up having a friend 3 print replacements using metal in place of plastic, and we installed them, again despite having paid Alpine a deposit including this work. Then Alpine installed the wrong Ice Maker which broke after a week, and it is obvious that the ice maker installed is not compatible with the refrigerator. The on off switch does not line up with the window to show this switch in panel, the ice level arm/paddle does not allow Ice drawer to be slid into place without forcing it very hard to get past the arm. Despite repeatedly texting and leaving messages, finally reaching Kenny, who promised 2 times to come back and deal with the issue, only to not show up, and he is now completely "ghosting" me. It seems clear that, he has my money and does not care or intend to further assist. I now need to pay a different appliance repair company to deal with replacing the broken Ice Maker. Given that he treats a longtime customer this way, he clearly does not value relationships. He took my money and left me in the lurch. Kenny is a crook, and I strongly urge you to avoid doing business with him. read more

Excellent! We have a vintage washing machine that stopped spinning out the clothes and we really did not want to part with it only to get cheap electronic crud with computer chips in it. Alpine Appliance got our old workhouse good as new, and while good service costs money, it was still cheaper than the cheapest new flimsy unit available out there in stores. I had Kenny come to my house to repair my refrigerator that was leaking. He diagnosed the problem as the icemaker charged me $125 for less than 10 minutes and said that he had to order a part and that when he came back to install it He would not charge me labor, he came back with the part and charged me an additional $85 labor. When he left he didn't test the part he installed we then turned on the water on and it was leaking. He told me to shut the water off he would be back another couple of days went by he replaced a plastic tube hose, when he left, the refrigerator was making a loud noise I called him he told me to unplug it and that he would be back again. When he put the piece back he put it back incorrectly, and the fan was hitting the wires and making a noise, once again, he did not test the refrigerator to see if it was making ice just water was coming out. I called him two days later as we were still not getting ice. He said he would be back on Monday never showed up I called left voicemails and texts said he was busy and he would be back at the end of the week, at the end of the week I called left messages again and he told me he was busy. I told him that I would have to get someone else. If this was his problem I was going to send him the bill and he said goodbye do what you have to do. I would never refer this company to anyone he rushes through his work and is overpriced I paid over $500 and still have a broken ice-maker read more

Ken was great! He reached out to me quickly and we scheduled a time within a couple days. Part ordered and he returned the next day to replace the Washer drain pump. Total cost $326 for my 1998 Kenmore H3T washer that had a dime stuck in the impeller which stripped it. I also have another washer that was acting up he suggested holding off repairing that which SAVED me another $300. In addition he explained that my Maytag Dependable Care dryer from 1993 was one that will last forever and to not replace it! Another $900 saved! I really trust him and appreciate working with him. The $85.00 was supposed to be credited toward the repair when the part arrived. We notified him that we had the part, he scheduled the job and left us waiting and didn't show - twice.
