Had I known this place existed, I would of visited sooner…read more When I found myself pregnant with baby #2, I began to worry. I have a 5 year old daughter and even though I work, I am struggling financially. I decided to keep the baby and so far, the pregnancy has been excellent. However, I am in need of baby clothes, maternity clothes, etc etc I contacted the local resource hotline and was given the number to Birthright. I called and was simply told "Come on over to get your clothes." I was expecting a large office building, instead its a lovely little house in a semi residential area. The women who assisted me were patient, understanding and non judgemental. This is not a religious organization, just local women who are supportive & caring. The services are free, the clothing is gently used donations. Once my maternity is over, I will donate what I have. Its a lovely program and I highly recommend it to pregnant women & new Mom's who need assistance.

You're going to just get support. One great thing they have is a huge resource binder full of information about every helpful program in the area, be it shelters, wic, childcare, healthcare and lots more. So no matter what your situation birthright is a great place to start, they unload the overwhelm.

Sounds pretty straight forward, right? Well, August 1st I found out I was seven weeks pregnant at the time! At Planned Parenthood. A day before my out of state trip, too. Just my luck, right? Anyways... Fast forward a few weeks later and I got to see my little bean via Sonogram at RealOptions right next door. My boyfriend stumbled upon Birth and Beyond to set us up an appointment. I thought that was the most amazing thing he did! This place is great because Christine has all the resources that are needed for a successful birth journey for any couple or single mother out there. My partner and I clearly didn't plan our baby (this soon) as we are only 22 year olds and still want to see the world. But honestly, this has been the best experience for me and I'm glad that there are places like Birth and Beyond to help women through out these 9 months. It's scary, having to go through this alone and being young so it's nice to know people want to help you out! 5/5 recommend this place to any new moms out there.

I was kind of deciding on getting an abortion but I was super torn and just wanted to see my baby because I had second thoughts. I'm super grateful because I got to talk to the wonderful ladies over there; they were really a big help. And I got to see great ultrasound pictures of my baby! They didn't judge me or persuade me, they welcomed me. I got these cute little knitted booties, and turns out it was donated from this church I used to go to. I would like to think that it was a message from God that I got suggested this clinic. I even went to their birthing class which was soo helpful and a great experience overall. Fast forward to now, I have my baby boy :) and I recently went back to Real Options where they gave me a beautiful gift for him and also diapers, wipes, etc, since we really need it. And also a beautiful quilt for my baby that I'm so obsessed with! I also love how I can donate any of the stuff my son didn't use/fit anymore, and it would be given to other girls in need/ in the same situation as I am. I am super thankful for this clinic because now, I can't even imagine what my life would've been like without my baby boy. I definitely would suggest it to anybody needing it, especially young girls that don't know where to turn to.

First off let me say one thing about this place, Amazing!!…read more I started my prenatal care here when I was only 6 weeks pregnant. Right away I felt very comfortable and like everyone genuinely cared about me during the sensitive time in my life. They continued to be the saving grace I needed. Mary is always a warm welcoming face as you enter. The facility is clean and they have new equipment. All the nurses that helped me are patient, kind and very knowledgeable. They answered all my questions and helped me understand everything. Even though my particular case needed additional care, Alyssa gave me great recommendations as to where to go for that. Even after your baby is born, they still have your back. We have been provided with diapers, wipes and super cute clothing for our baby. We really appreciate and are super grateful we found RealOptions Central San Jose. Thank you for all you do for the community of moms and babies. P.S. regardless of your financial or insurance issues they will be happy to assist you.

As long as they are alive and in good standing the organization usually does well. The Crystal Cathedral was a thriving ministry as long as Robert Schuller was leading, but now there's talk of bankruptcy. The WHAT principle is when there's a good product or idea. That may be fine in the start, but it won't carry it thru the tough times. An example is the Dell music player. It was touted as good or better than the Ipod, but never did great in the market place because Dell focused on computers and not music players. If they had a passion it sure wasn't played that way to the consumers. The WHY principle is when when an organization is built around a passion to meet a need. Why is the reason the organization exists. No matter if times are tough or not it carries on in belief and Faith. Look at Apple! I believe that The Livermore Pregnancy Resource Center is based on the WHY principle! Tina's faithfulness to continue meeting a need is what drives the Center. THAT is why I support them. Not because they're a big name with a long list of accomplishments. Not because they have the perfect plan to run a center. But because the passion you share is sincere and infectious. I have met several of the clients and the kids that go there. They...are the testament to the good work done there.
