Turns out it wasn't the jack insert that was the problem, but the charge cable itself. They ordered a new cable for me and i had my netbook back in working order in a shorter time then i had originally anticipated. The cable was extremely affordable and works great. The staff listened to what i had to say on my initial visit and were very pleasant to interact with. Just an all round great transaction from start to finish. Highly recommended!

Since I was at home, I started looking for a repair shop near him and found All Computer Game Repairs at 47 Pete Bay Rd. in Hannibal, NY. I called, explained the situation, and the person I spoke with was extremely helpful. They told me to have my son bring the Xbox over, gave me a price upfront that I thought was very fair, and said they could have it repaired within one day. I called my son, gave him the information, and he brought the Xbox in. Just as promised, it was fixed within one day and he was back up and running. Great communication, fair pricing, and fast service. I highly recommend All Computer Game Repairs to anyone in the Oswego or Hannibal area who needs a game console repaired. Not only did she make sure to explain everything to me in a way I could easily understand, (being a very non technological person lol) without me even asking her to!! But when she realized that the hard drive ( a very good deal may I add) she was going to order for me was no longer being made, she researched a cheaper and better alternative, that did not benefit her in any way at all. She called me back to inform me of all this and even told me where I could buy this cheaper, better, alternative... She also took a moment to talk to my son about how they've changed this item over time and added extra storage. Although we didn't get to do any actual business with them (yet) I would 10/10 recommend them solely based from this experience.

We had our dumpster delivered sooner than we thought we would be able to, and we appreciate the way they accept payment (when the dumpster is in your possession). However, it was odd to not receive a confirmation email, electronic receipt, text or phone call to check in between the time I ordered it and the drop off. I had to call back and make sure it was set to be delivered the following morning, and had to confirm a time. They do give a window for the dumpster drop off, but it arrived right at the beginning. Best part- you don't have to be there when they come to pick it up as long as you've followed their guidelines!
