He approached his job as if he was inspecting his very own house. He was extremely hard working and did not ignore even a single detail. This is a newly built house by a very reputable home builder; however, he was successful in pointing out several items that need to be tweaked, so to speak. I will use the analogy of a great spell-checker to describe what he brings to the table. Also, his fee is very reasonable. I can promise you that you will not regret entrusting your home inspection to him!

We wish we had him for our first inspection when we were buying the house. His price was very reasonable; especially after getting some outrageously expensive quotes and some questionably low "11 month quotes" from other inspectors only to find out that they don't have to abide by the same new home purchase inspection standards set by the TREC. We were given a long report with pictures and recommendations which we submitted to our builder for warranty repair. Paul cut no corners and we plan on referring him to our neighbors who needs the first inspection and/or their 11 month.

By the grace of God, I am building a new house again and I am sure glad I was able to get John to come out and do a final inspection on my new build. This was also after the builder has their 3rd party, internal quality and city inspectors go through the property. John's report was detailed and informative with recommendations for corrections and standards. I would highly recommend him to my family and friends for all phases of home inspections. If we end up purchasing this property, I will surely be reaching out to him for a 1 year home warranty inspection because he definitely provides value.

During that visit, he made unprompted remarks about my personal life that had nothing to do with the inspection. When I told him that his behavior felt intimidating, he responded that he had researched me on the "deep dark web." We then asked that our interactions remain strictly professional and limited to inspection-related matters, but he declined to agree to that boundary. The encounter left us feeling unsafe and deeply uncomfortable. We have since filed a formal complaint with the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) regarding this incident. It is our personal recommendation to stay very far from this company. Homeowners deserve respect, professionalism, and basic privacy when inviting someone into their home.
