It was my first time here at Alpha Nail Spa, and I've got no complaints! My girl and I popped up on a Tuesday evening after work, and we were seated and taken care of immediately. I got a mani pedi, and my girl got SNS. The ladies and gents here took outstanding care of us. Didn't feel rushed, and they made sure we were happy with the service and outcome. I went here to get French tips and my mother got gel. My mom's gel fell off almost immediately after getting home. You can tell they did not put great effort into their work. My french tip peeled off 2 Days after getting them done. Since my mom's toe nail was broken off she had to get a fake nail on it. That nail snapped right off and the touch of a barely stubbed toe. It fell right off. This place is not reccomended. Only the man knew what he was doing the women there just wanted to get it done with. I had 3 hairs on each hand painted onto my nails. The people are rude, and don't care how those nails look. 1 star is a massive raise for what i would have given if there were negative numbers. And then they had the audacity to charge over 260$ for some nails in which a temporary tattoo could have lasted longer than. read more

I should've known something was up when we came from another salon who had no walk in availability because they were so busy and came here and it was empty. But i desperately needed a manicure after 5 weeks. I'm not sure if it was because she was rushing because it was getting past closed or what; but I have never been cut when getting a manicure! I went in for an SNS manicure and when she was sanding down the dip before putting on the final coat she sanded the skin on my fingers. And not just once or twice, i understand it can happen as a mistake. But she did it multiple times, I said ow and she made no apparent effort to not continue doing it. My finger ended up bleeding which she also neglected to notice. Then when she was packing up the head she cut me with and other tools she used on my bleeding finger went back into the drill head case. Super unsanitary! At this point I was in pain on multiple fingers, bleeding on one that she never even attempted to clean off, and just fed up with the whole thing and wanted to leave. My pedicure was fine but my bf's pedicure was not much better. He said that his tech used the emory board more on his skin than on the nail. It also seemed rushed as she finished his entire pedicure before mine even got to my polish. Iwould not recommend going here. It looks nice but the quality of work is spotty. Wow. All I can say is "WOW!". I have been a regular(plus good tipper) at this salon for about 10 years and today I have finally decided to never go back. I got my nails done here about 12 days ago and this past weekend 2 nails chipped so today I go in and get them fixed. I had an ALL black color on my nails but the two they fixed had black with a glitter mix and unfortunately I didn't notice til I got home just now. But this isn't it.... THEY CHARGED ME $8 for 2 little chips.... which I don't mind paying but WOW! They have never ever charged me to fix a nail or two. PLUS, Last time I had my nails done an employee working there had told me and my sister that getting our nails fixed no matter how long it had been wouldn't be a problem..... Also.... just look at how bad the touch ups look. the nail tech didn't even bother to file the nail back into shape nor clean up the sides...... read more

Showed up for a pedicure appt that I made online (as was also confirmed) to a closed business with 5 FIVE other people parked out front wondering what was going on. I called first thing the following morning - they lied and said that they tried calling me (big fat lie - I doubled checked that my phone number was correct in my confirmation emai - it was) checked incoming phone call history and messages. The only salon I go to for my nails. I've been going here for about 2 years now and after a ton of trials at a whole bunch of salons from Cobb county to Milton, I can truly say I am done. Alpha Nail is consistent, accommodating, and all around the best nail salon I've been to. This salon is the reason why my nails actually look presentable! Prior to getting a regular sns mani, my nails were brittle and ALWAYS broke. If you have this issue and gel polish peels off quickly (story of my life), then I highly suggest you give sns (dip powder) a try. It has literally change the way my nails look! The staff is super friendly and the salon has a rewards program! The program regularly texts me promotions and coupons for different holidays and such. They do wonderful with pedicures too!! I've had my eyebrows waxed a couple of times as well and have never had any complains. Notes: 1. Not sure why yelp lists it at $$$ because the prices really don't differ much from other salons I've been too. 2. They have an extensive selection for both gel polish and sns. 3. They do get busy and I can't say if calling ahead is actually helpful but I have never seen them turn anyone away. In fact, I've seen the staff be super honest about when they will be able to get to people and give accurate times to come back (if that's what you want to do). 4. They are open on Sundays. However, my favorite sns guy is off that day. 5. Unlike other salons, the staff here really do care and remember their clients so don't be alarmed if they remember convos you don't. 6. Went in to get my NATURAL nails trimmed and re-dipped. She slaughtered my nails. They are so short I have no nail left . It took me 6 months to grow out my nails and I am very unhappy. The managers response, "oh it'll grow back! We can put a tip on next time." It's not about putting a tip on it was the long time effort in growing out my nails to only have them cut. To show I'm not exaggerating I will attach the after they cut followed by what they looked like. I said I like my nails long before she cut them, and it was too late. After having a particularly frustrating and discriminatory experience at a salon called Nail Perfection on Holcomb Bridge Road in Alpharetta, my bank manager referred me to Alpha Nail. I explained to the owner what I'd gone through trying to get a quality pedicure and she took me in like a lost child who needed a warm meal. It was a wonderful feeling....and the pedicure remains memorable. Not because my technician took her time and treated my feet as I imagine she would treat her own but because they changed my mood/day from "hellish" to "angelic". I left their salon feeling uplifted and invigorated and thoroughly pleased with the job they did...the way every woman wants to feel after a spa pedicure. If I could, I would give zero stars. The worst mani experience of my life. I came in to get my gel nails removed a mani. First of all, she filed my skin multiple times and clipped my skin as she was clipping my nails. The acetone was so painful cause she clipped and filed my skin. Second, I picked a color and I guess it wasnt coming out well so she told me to pick another color and that color wasnt going on well for her so she goes in the back and picks a color of her own?! In desperate need of a pedicure, I popped in for a few weeks ago. I'll be honest, I wasn't expecting such a sleek and clean environment inside my local Publix shopping center. I knew I made a good decision walking in. Despite being pretty crowded, they seated me almost immediately. The space is large and accommodating and even though I had two people beside me, the seats were far enough apart that you don't feel like you're in sponsons else's space. The woman doing my pedicure really took the time to scrub my callouses and make sure I got the best experience. What I particularly liked was that they didn't try to up sell me into getting a "spa" or "deluxe" pedicure. I'll definitely be back! read more

Today was the last straw they ripped me off on price and would not honor a coupon /text I got from them a day ago. New owners or new management at any rate NEVER going there again. I've been to this location a few times, and the first few times went ok, but the last visit was awful. I came in for mani padi gel. They were not busy at all, but the whole visit felt rushed. My nails were short and the guy who did them kept blaming my nail length on his clumsy work. Once the whole process started we were done in about 20 minutes. They then proceeded to charge me $80 for a 20 min visit, and what must be the most awful mani padi I ever got. If I would've known I would've done it at home. But sometimes you want to treat yourself. This redicoulsly expensive mani-padi lasted for 2 days before falling off. Very disappointing. I was hoping this place will become my new regular spot cos I live in the area, but after that experience, I will definitely never go back, nor recommend them to anyone. read more

I almost always just walk in rather than make an appointment and they are able to work me in quickly. Because I just walk in I've had numerous people do my nails and all but one were excellent. I'm very angry. BEFORE I had any services done, I had an extensive conversation about what I wanted, needed and what the cost was & what my budget was. I told the woman I would omit some services to stay within budget, which was $100. I was given a price of $109 and told I could have 10% off of that. Upon checking out the total given to me was $117.50 (not $99). The services were manicure, pedicure, eyebrows and armpit wax. As I was having the manicure and pedicure done the same lady who negotiated the price of $109 suggested that I get the gel nails pedicure (she had already told me that was included in my manicure price). She suggested I have the same thing done for my nails and said it wouldn't be much more. Ay check out I was told one of the reasons for the increase was because my armpit hair length, which I was charged $20 (not $15) because we discussed it have been a while. I had a sinking suspicion when I went in and we were having a "discussion" about the price --that it was going to be a problem... and it was. Even though the price was written down and I was looking at it upon checkout, I was still charged more. Lastly, my nails look horrible. They're too short-- they look like Chiclets and it's very unfeminine and unflattering. I will not be back. read more

After 20 minutes and the water being cold by then, I left, Never saw the technician again. Don't waste your time on this place.
