My go-to. It's close to my house, but they also do a great job. I've been doing SNS for about 8 months and have been extremely satisfied. It lasts almost 3 weeks, so though it costs more than gel ($35 vs $25), it's worth it. It also looks better, IMO. Unless short on time, I don't like that they do mani/pedi together, because I'm not able to relax and enjoy the pedi. However, of you insist on separate they will acquiesce. Also, every fifth time you get 20% off. Highly recommend! But, make an appointment if a busy time! I prefer weekday mornings when it's slow (9:30-1030) and I've never waited. read more

This is my go-to place to get my nails done since it's close to my house. Sometimes I leave super pleased and sometimes I leave super pissed. My advice is to find a person you like and stick with her. My person is Cindy. She give extremely long foot massages and does a fabulous job with gel. Another girl (forgot her name) gave a long foot massage but didn't do so great with my gel polish. There were bubbles in the polish in a couple of fingers. The bubbles tends to make the gel polish peel prematurely. I told her several times about the bubbles and she made the appropriate pacifying comments but did NOTHING to fix the problem. I loathe service providers that don't take pride in their work. In addition, Ellen's Nails likes to do your nails WHILE you are getting a pedicure. This is wonderful for folks short on time; however, I like to relax and enjoy my time getting pampered. I normally have to adamantly advise them that I prefer to do my nails after my pedicure is done. read more

I've been going here for over a decade with my mom. I love this salon, because of the great staff, location, variety of services and convenience. I got a mani and spa pedi with foot massage today and it was exactly the relaxation I needed before the workweek begins. I had a scrub, a massage, hot towel compress and even a hot stone finish; it was perfect! Here's a picture of my manicure and pedicure, I just get the regular polish, but my mom is a regular for SNS and always goes to Mindy for her SNS, but all of their staff is talented. I am a repeat customer. If you want quick service call ahead because they keep busy. Normally in the weekdays they can seat you right away. They are very good at getting it just how you want it and I am picky, I normally get gel manicure and normal pedicure, it takes about 40 to 60 minutes from when you get seated. I've gone to Ellen's Nails consistently for over a decade (at least) and have always had a good experience!

Really friendly staff, but not a fan of the services. My mother and I both got SNS for our nails and pedicures. The pedicures were done really well but the SNS doesn't look great. For the price, they should. I had to continuously direct the nail tech on how I'd like my nails done, and they still came out sub par. They were a little lumpy and out of shape, and my mom also did not care for hers. My tech also left all of the nail polish residue around my nails after finishing. Overall, not impressed. read more

After having walked out of another nail salon where I waited for 30 min though I called beforehand with wet feet, I was pretty irritated. I found Ellen's on Yelp and decided to head over. I waited 10 min and was assured I would be up soon 5 min in. I really appreciate honesty with regards to time. My feet and hands look great. I don't find myself looking down at my hands irritated because something isn't right. They're perfect. My only thing here is that I'm used to really soft feet right after a spa pedicure and they just felt like normal. No biggie though. read more

Located in the "Kroger" shopping center, this little known salon has Asian women that are very attentive. Walkins are welcome, in fact that is the only way that I have gone there. They have four message foot spa chairs, although I have had one or two times that the message control buttons were not exactly functioning properly but I can live with that. The ladies do the most incredible and "long" foot and leg messages as part of the spa pedicure! They are not on "egg timers" as some other salons in the neighborhood where they are taking care of you against a certain set time. There is a plasma TV on usually with some show on that you can zone out on. Weekends tend to be busy and of course during holidays you will have to wait a few minutes to get to a chair. I have had both manicures, acrylics done there, and spa pedi's. Service is polite. They have OPI nail polish and do update with seasonal colors. read more

This place is AWFUL ZERO stars. I hate this place. I came in after work for a day to get a regular manicure. They have AWFUL customer service skills. I only think one person who was working that day speaks English. It took forever for the lady to notice me and I was standing right in front of her too! What she also did was have 2 people go ahead of me when I was in line wayy before them. They also rush you and do a terrible job. I would never recommend this place to anyone! Save your money!!! I went to Ellen's for about 15 years. There were four ladies who were excellent, and I always enjoyed my experience. Then a new person came along. She is sort of heavy in the middle and has a heart-shaped face and a snooty look. She cheated me twice, and that does not even include the time she told me that she had a child with a brain tumor (but when I asked her which lobe it was in and the type of brain cancer she didn't know) and the time I saw her cheat some young girls by saying that she didn't understand what they asked for and so did the expensive pedicure option. I noted that sometimes she used a sing-song voice and pretended not to know English and other times she spoke English as well as a native-born American. It's too bad, because I'm sure that most the other bad reviews were mostly people who had her. read more

I had never had a manicure/pedicure before about a year ago when my wife first took me to Ellen's Nails. As a man it is not familiar territory and I don't see many men there when I go. But the staff treats me great, I am always happy with the manicure/pedicure, and I feel comfortable which is important to me. For the work they put in I always feel like the price is reasonable. I happened on this salon when I broke a nail and had stopped to go to Kroger. Tina took care of me and I liked how she did my nails so much I've been coming back ever since! 4 or 5 years now?? wow long time..lol.. I have occasionally used the other girls when Tina is on vacation and they are all good. The spa Pedicures are phenominal. usually hour long spa pedicures. Ti does mine she is so awesome! She takes her time and the massages they do on your legs and feet are awesome. They clean their instruments after every use too. They also do waxing. The prices are great too! read more

Wow! What great customer service!! These ladies had me in and out of there in under an hour!! I got a mani with gel polish and a regular pedi and an eyebrow wax. All the ladies worked very well together and did everything to meet my time constraint. They even put sunscreen on my hands before using the light for the gel polish! Great place! read more

Very disappointed. We just moved into the neighborhood and we're looking for a new regular place. We were excited when we walked in because it looked clean and new but in the end felt we had thrown away $140!We were immediately upsold because every thing was 20% off! Great we'll up grade! - we didn't know it depended on how many people walked in after. All our massages we cut short as they tried to hurry to help others in 10 minutes. My cuticles didn't get cut and my polish is seriously embarrassing. They charged me $4 because I picked the color of the week and my husbands pedi water went cold before they got to him. It probably depends on who you get. The lady next to us had a young manicurist and the older lady my friend and I got did both our upgrade mani pedi, my child's mani pedi and my husbands upgraded pedi in the time it took her to just get her mani. My lady even completed another ladies manicure before the younger lady had even gotten half way through the pedicure for the other client. She cut my husband, put nail polish remover in the wound, scrapped the top of his foot and wet his socks. I asked her to fix mine to no avail. She even let my friend and I walk out with our pant legs rolled up and when we went to pay she had to ask her friends how to take 20% off on the calculator???? Math skills?? You need to watch them ring you up if you decide to take the risk. Both my friend and I have polish with imperfections everywhere. I'm sad, feel deceived and a bit dumb and though I'm not the kind to complain or ask to be compensated... I paid, tipped well but won't be back. This is the worst nail salon i have every been to!!!!! I will never go to this place again first of all the lady that did my nails was soooo rude and clearly didn't take her time with my acrylics. She obviously doesnt like her job because you can CLEARLY tell by her facial expressions and the lack of work she put in to making my nails look good. I have been going here for a couple of years and it just keeps going downhill. I will not return! Today I went in for a manicure, pedicure and lip wax. They did the manicure and pedicure at the same time. The pedicure was short and missed some of the typical services they do, like she forgot or wasn't sure what to do. She cut my skin on several toes and it was painful. The manicure was so quick because the woman was more concerned with the soap opera on TV and kept stopping to watch. She also did not do half of the services typically performed. The lip wax included ripping skin off of my lip. All three services were completed in under 35 minutes. Huge disappointment. The customer service is totally gone from this place. I feel like I should have been paid to sit through that. read more

Ellen Nails is a wonderful establishment. I frequently get SNS on my nails and a spa pedicure. The nail techs are always so sweet and eager to start your pampering session! I usually go around early afternoon on a weekday, and usually there isn't a wait, even though they are busy. However, you should always call ahead and schedule a reservation just to ensure a spot. The salon is very clean, which is important. I recommend Ellen Nails if you are looking a fair priced and clean place. Your nails will look great, and you will feel great. read more

When I first started coming to this salon, I found that the women were friendly, attentive, and the services were well done! However, since then, I have found that I leave disappointed every time! The past 3 times I have come to Ellen's I have been charged different amounts for the same service (Fill-in w/ polish) and my nails have looked worse and worse. I had a fill-in done less than 1 week ago that ALREADY needs correction. My cuticles were left to bleed and my polish was applied carelessly. I have also had pedicures and gel manicures done here. Pedicures are nothing spectacular and my gel manicure chipped within 3 days, which I would expect if I worked with my hands often but I do not and have never had a gel manicure that lasts for less than 1.5 weeks. I have gone to this place since I started getting my nails done for middle school dances. It's very clean and well kept, they clean everything they use like clockwork after each use. The ladies are cheerful and nice, I have never had the feeling I was being disrespected or talked about, as is common among other salons. They always do a great job. I'm someone who doesn't get their nails done often so when I inevitably mess one up before I get out the door they kindly fix it with a smile. This is the only place I will go to get my nails done. I've been going here for a while now and every time I leave here there is always something wrong with my service. I continue to go back giving them the benefit of the doubt and I continue to be disappointed. I will NEVER EVER go back to this place again a day in my life. Their customer service is awful! I went into there today to get a pedicure and when the lady put 3 coats of just sparkly nail polish on I asked her nicely to change it , she then says "I already put 3 coats on I can't change it" that's poor customer service.
