I made an appointment with Val for a hair cut (I got a fade) and she was ready to go as soon as I got there. Let me tell you the inside of the place is amazing. It has a class vintage barbershop look (except for the array of flatscreens) but has stations set up for doing nails. Pedicures aren't even my thing but the place was so impressive I almost considered getting one. I was there for a haircut, though, and the barber side was equally legit. Val did an excellent job on my hair. She brought the sides down to skin and did a smooth, clean fade with a hard part and an inch off the top but leaving just enough for the pompadour look up front. She even took the time to thin out the top a little so it would lay right and evenly and not build up too much. She's a master of her craft. Top notch. I'll be making another appointment with her for sure. read more

Took my man to get a beard trim and facial. He never had a facial before and was a bit hesitant. My husband had never had a pedicure and he is always cycling, so I treated him to the Athletic pedicure. He really liked it and came home saying how relaxed he felt and how his feet felt great. I have been coming here for about a year after my wife bought me a gift card. I was always uncertain about getting a pedicure but this is an ideal set up for guys. First are all the TV screens throughout the place. Linh offers you a free beer before she starts working on you. You feel like your in a sports bar. I always get the alpha pedicure which come with the scrub and massage. Because I have limited back flexibility due to arthritis, having monthly pedicures are a necessity and I don't feel awkward walking into a saloon since this place is for males. Linh the owner is great, punctual, and flexible. I have made this part of my monthly routine. Highly recommend!! read more
