Favoritism, they allow others to come in late , wear crocs, not shower residents , we can't call out when we do find coverage they say no . Crystal don't do her job Deedee talk about her all the time saying she tired of doing her and everybody work . They do not appreciate you, over work you and management loves to bully and use profanity and threats towards you. There is lots a favoritism giving staff that is favorited the green light to treat others with no respect. It's simply not a job for anyone. And even though it's memory care you deal with residents that are AL,Skill,Memory and syc! NOT WORTH IT. Management will leaving you hanging, don't help if your short staffed. I wouldn't recommend sending family member there unless you just absolutely hate them. They don't get fed and any drinks after dinner is served at 5pm until the next morning when breakfast is served. And most of them time the residents stay soiled.

I was at Clapps for rehab after hip surgery, worse food ever,care was terrible I dropped a pill…read more on the floor the nurse picked it up and gave it to me to take but her lie was she just gave it to me to look at it. I asked to speak to someone no one came to talk to me.,they believed her when she said she gave it to me to look at, why would I want to look at the pill I told her, the staff didn't take to me 2 days after and they lied for her. The worse place to put your love ones in. The aids doesn't know what they are doing can't make a bed up. I left before I was ready and needed more therapy. I was happy to leave.

I can say that approximately 10% of the staff are professional and seem to actually care about patients needs.The remaining 90% of the staff are unprofessiona and treat you as a burden rather than a patient in need. I was in extreme pain during my time at this facility and found it to be a nightmare in order to get pain medication. If you are looking for care while you are going through your ordeal I strongly advice you look elsewhere.

Everything was fine for about a couple of weeks and my mother got so confused, she started going to the door and trying to get out. Clapps doesn't have memory care, so she needed to get moved. Heather Oden the Social worker stayed on me and my sisters case in getting her out as fast as possible. She called me constantly! Me and my sister took a couple of weeks to find the right home and it still wasn't good enough. Do not send your love ones to this place. Even the nurses hate this place! I could go on and on, I hope the state shuts it down!

Staff barely there on weekends-usually hanging with family and friends and children behind nurse's desk! Communication nonexistent between Director and staff and/or family. They do not reply to emails and/or emails. Sanitation aka fruit punch left out in patient room til it grows mold on top of it! Housekeeping only does center section of patient rooms--rest is not touched and/or swept under closet door. Laundry and business office all have their issues with more problems. Everytime I thought it couldn't get worse, it did. You will regret sending family member to Holden Heights.

We placed our mother here after another assisted living couldn't handle her mild medical issues. The difference in my mom since moving in has been like night and day. All of the staff are friendly and kind, they help my mother and work with her dementia & mobility issues. My mother has even made friends! My family genuinely couldn't be happier.

My mother has experienced multiple medication errors. Basic services such as bed making and assistance with dressing are not consistently provided. Your loved one will not receive the services outlined in the care plan. Multiple meetings with a management is a futile effort.
