Dr Bracco has been able to keep my pain in check over the years through spinal adjustments every month. Three months ago I experienced a reduction in mobility in my right shoulder. I was unable to raise my right arm any higher than my shoulder without significant pain. Im 61 years old and I just figured this is what getting old is going to be like. Dr Bracco gave me several adjustments over the following weeks. He instructed me to do several light exercises at home. From the first adjustment I felt relief. After approximately six weeks, I have returned to full mobility in my shoulder and my pain is gone. Dr Bracco really does care about his patients wellbeing. You don't have to suffer unnecessary. My name is Donna Trimboli. My experience at Brooklyn Spine Center began with an initial…read moreconsultation on April 21, 2026. During that visit, Melinda Keller reviewed my intake forms and sent me for three X-rays before continuing the consultation. I was required to pay $125.00 for the X-rays that day. After reviewing the results, I was presented with an approximately $7,000 out-of-pocket treatment plan. When I asked how my progress would be measured and what specific improvements I should expect, I left feeling that my questions had not been clearly answered. The office also felt very high-volume, with one assistant caring for numerous patients, on different machines at the same time. Having previously worked for a chiropractor, I left feeling that the experience was more focused on selling a treatment plan than on individualized care. After my visit, I posted a Google review describing my experience. Shortly afterward, Melinda Keller personally called me and asked me to return to the office. During my second visit, much of our conversation centered on my review and the effect it could have on her business. She then offered several spinal decompression treatments at no charge so I could determine whether they would help. I agreed. On May 11, 2026, the assistant positioned me on the spinal decompression table and started the treatment. According to the manufacturer's safety instructions for the decompression table, patients should be provided with a handheld emergency stop button before treatment. I was not given one. I was also left alone in the treatment room -- on a machine that requires close monitoring while strapped into a high-tension mechanized machine - which, according to the manufacturer's instructions, was not consistent with the recommended safety procedures. During the treatment, the table unexpectedly began pulling and jerking one side of my body downwards with tremendous force. I do not know whether the machine malfunctioned or whether incorrect settings were used. What I do know is that I repeatedly called out "Hello!" twice because I needed help, and no one came into the room. The force was so sudden and violent that it is one of the most frightening experiences I have ever had. Eventually, the machine stopped on its own, and I remained lying there frozen in shock, watching the timer count down to zero. When the assistant returned to unstrap me, I mentioned the machine acting erratically, but she offered no explanation - not even a raised eyebrow - just an awkward silence. Afterward, because I already knew something had gone wrong and was concerned about the pain I was beginning to experience, I agreed to a cold laser treatment in the hope that it might reduce inflammation and help minimize any injury. As someone who has worked extensively with medical lasers in my own profession, that seemed like a reasonable decision at the time. Before the cold laser treatment began, the assistant immediately handed me an emergency shut-off button and instructed me to use it if the treatment became too warm. That moment has stayed with me ever since. I had just completed a treatment on a motorized decompression table while alone and without an emergency stop button, yet I was promptly given one for a laser treatment where I could have simply sat up if I became uncomfortable. Approximately a week later, I emailed Melinda Keller explaining that I continued to experience significant pain and specifically asked what machine settings had been used during my decompression treatment. Instead of answering my question, or calling me to discuss what had happened, I simply received copies of my intake paperwork and X-rays. I never received the information I requested or any meaningful follow-up regarding the incident or my how I was feeling. I am currently undergoing medical evaluation. Until that process is complete, I cannot say exactly what injuries I may have sustained. I can say that I continue to experience pain that began immediately after this treatment. Pain that I didn't have before the treatment experience. This review reflects only my personal experience. Based on what happened to me, I cannot recommend Brooklyn Spine Center.

After the first visit, my husband told me to see Dr. Hussein there since he had gone to him a couple of years before for a different type of injury and was really given help. When I first went there, I was in a lot of pain and couldn't walk correctly at all. Dr. Hussein guided me along the 6 week time, taught me various exercises and helped me to walk properly without pain again. He, along with Anna, the other therapist, was caring, patient and knowledgeable while encouraging me throughout my time there. The entire staff was helpful and the place is kept very clean and neat. I'm really perplexed after reading the other review - I don't understand the complaints since for me, going to Dr. Hussein was a very good experience.

The front desk wasn't very friendly; they seemed overwhelmed and confused, though this was not Raymond's team. His front desk is inside the establishment, so I couldn't speak to them directly and had to have the front desk call his team. There were about 10 people waiting, but they weren't there for him, so I was taken in quicker. The front desk told me it's never usually busy, which was a bit confusing. I also wish they had clarified over the phone that it was split into two businesses so I would know what to expect when I entered. Initially, I felt disappointed and considered leaving, but once I spoke with his front desk, they reassured me that I would be taken care of and everything would be okay. When I met Raymond, he asked me a lot of questions and spent about 20 to 30 minutes with me. I appreciated that he asked for my consent every time he touched me. He worked on my back, applied a heat pad, cracked my lower back, and worked on my legs. After the session, I felt much better. I'm going to try my best to see him on a weekly basis, but his location is quite far for me. He appreciated that I traveled so far to see him based on his reviews. Overall, it was a great experience, and I will definitely be coming back, but I don't know if I'll be able to do so weekly due to the travel distance.

I needed to be buzzed in and there was a sign showing their location on the lower level. When I walked in, I was greeted warmly by a guy who offered me a seat and asked me to complete some paperwork. There were some other people there as well so that was a good sign :) The paperwork was to provide information about pain areas and such, similar to going to a massage therapy place. Li Ying was the acupuncturist who worked on me and she took her time to ask about my concerns and pain points. When I was in the treatment area, she told me what to expect and showed me the new needles that would be used (new each time). I had lots of questions as it was my first time and she made sure to answer all of them to make me comfortable. She ended up doing acupuncture, cupping and infrared light, as well as some manual manipulation on my main pain areas (neck/trap and lower back). I asked what it would feel like and she mentioned that it might feel like a paper cut, but less (which honestly made me nervous) lol but it actually barely even felt like anything! I'm pretty sensitive in general so I could feel all the entry points, but nothing hurt at all and she made sure to check with each one. The cupping part was some suction cups around my upper and lower back. While working on me she would ask about location and feelings to make sure there wasn't any pain. Numbness and heat could be some of the symptoms, but I didn't feel any of that thankfully. I received a 30+ minute treatment and it was followed up by the offer of water, tea and snacks. Li Ying allowed me to take some photos of the office since I was one of the last ones finishing from their complimentary hours. She also offered some tips and suggestions to help keep my symptoms at bay. I enjoyed my first acupuncture experience here and plan to come back if my pain persists. They take a bunch of insurances and are open Monday-Saturday 10-6pm with sessions typically lasting about 45-60 minutes. I'm so glad I stumbled onto this place - I really enjoy the idea of holistic wellness. My husband is looking forward to trying them out soon too! :)
