My uncle recently suffered a stroke and now has significant mobility and communication challenges…read more We visited Abba Eyecare to update his eyeglass prescription, and the level of compassion and customer service we received was truly exceptional. Rather than requiring him to come inside, the staff brought a selection of eyeglass frames out to our car, helped him choose a pair, and even measured and fitted him for his glasses while he remained comfortably seated in the vehicle. Because he is currently hospitalized in Gunnison and we will no longer be in town when the glasses are ready, they also offered to personally deliver them to the hospital. In a world where genuine customer service seems increasingly rare, the staff at Abba Eyecare went far beyond what anyone would expect. Their kindness, flexibility, and willingness to help during an incredibly difficult time meant more to our family than words can express. This is what outstanding patient care looks like.

I walked in 10 minutes late to my appointment, that's my bad, but the policy is 10 minutes. The…read morewoman behind the desk left me waiting while she finished a phone call, and by the time she was finished it was too late for me to attend my appointment. She let me know of the situation extremely bluntly. I had been waiting months for this appointment. I was visibly disappointed and she said she would go check with the doctor, she got up and walked away shaking her head. So rude. When she came back she asked if I wanted to reschedule and I said no thank you, I was upset and needed to regulate before creating a new appointment. She proceeded to start offering me other dates and times and I reminded her that I had said no thank you and it felt like she wasn't respecting my words. The doctor that used to be here was amazing, idk about the new guy, but this honestly sucked and this woman was extremely rude. I wish we lived somewhere with more options so I didn't have to come back. ALSO- I made the 10 minute policy and waited 3 minutes while she finished her call and was too late because of her call... Beyond the frustration of this interaction and not being able to attend my appointment, the way this woman treated me was extremely unprofessional and she is clearly in need of further training.

Upon trying to exit the garage, the operator on the garage door had burnt out. My family used Prutch's Garage Door of Colorado Springs before so we reached out for a referral in the area, and they told us they had a shop in Gunnison, CO that serviced Crested Butte area. They got to our property quickly and I was able to share with the renters text message arrival updates as well as a picture of the technician arriving. It really did help clam them down. The technician Shelby had a few operator options with him and he walked me through my options over the phone. We ended up getting an upgraded motor to support the door better and it was installed same day at a reasonable price. Team Prutch's bailed us out of a jam and we would highly recommend them.
