Dr Alonzo & his staff are very friendly, accommodating & most importantly honest! It's hard to find a very honest Dentist.

Updating my review from a year ago! So my daughter is now 3yo and no longer cries when we see Dr…read more Davis! She enjoys going to the dentist. Today I took my son. He just turned one a few months ago and this was his first dental appointment. Per usual I got a text message reminding me to schedule an appointment for my daughter. I called the office and scheduled an appointment for her and asked if I can include my son. They took his info down and scheduled an appointment same day and time for both kids. When we arrived we were greeted at the front and I signed some forms and we sat down in the waiting area. No more than 10mins later they called us back. They took dental X-rays for my daughter and they both had 2 chairs side by side ready and cleaned. The RDA were all so nice and gentle with my kids and gave my toddler an option to choose what type of polish flavor. Once Dr.Davis got around to seeing us he was professional, kind, knowledgeable, he's great with the kids and he still sings lol He took the time to explain and gave all the rational behind his recommendations. They had balloons today! My kids made it to the No Cavities Wall. This where they can write their name on a paper they provide and stick it on the wall. They also give tokens so that the kids can get a prize at the end. When we got to the prizes my daughter usually gets a ball but today they didn't have any and she said it out loud and one of the staff members heard and came to us with 3 of them in his hand and offered it to her. Such a kind and generous gesture. We were in and out of our appointment all within 20mins!!! I truly enjoy taking my kids here. Staff is friendly, they do an amazing job with the kids. Dr.Davis is wonderful! Love that they work fast too, as a mother of two who takes my kids to their appointments alone it's always nice to be in and out because managing 2 kids alone can be a bit much. This place really caters to the kids they have different play areas for the kids as well. Highly recommended!

We deny fluoride every time due to an allergic reaction of my child feeling very itchy. The last cleaning the technician applied it anyways even though the chart and forms said it was denied. I brought it up at yesterday's appointment as well which they confirmed they did put fluoride on her the past appointment without my consent. I told them again we do not want it we deny it, I watched my son for his cleaning and went to check on my daughter in the middle of them applying fluoride on her AGAIN WITHOUT CONSENT. Thank God the allergy has not worsened for it to have ended up in a trip to the hospital but if you choose to go here watch every move if you deny something. I will say the front desk staff is very nice and the actual dentist is knowledgeable but I wouldn't come here if there's any sort of allergy you're worried about.

The check in process is simple and they have you sign any necessary forms as you arrive. Any payment is taken care of at the end. Reception staff are always kind and attentive. Most forms that I need to sign are prefilled with my daughters name and the date. In the waiting room, there is a play area for kids with books, legos, a play kitchen, and hand sanitizer is available too. They have one tv in the front that plays a movie, and that movie continues in the back when they take the kids back. We have never waited long and are usually called back pretty quickly. The dental hygienists and RDAs are all very friendly. They all have kind personalities and it definitely feels like they were called to work with kiddos. The first couple of visits, as our daughter was getting used to the idea of a dentist visit, they allowed her to sit in my lap and tilted her back to check out her teeth. (I also have caught on that as she ages, there is one thing they add to the appointments each time. They kind of just brushed her teeth and felt her teeth at age 2/2.5-they they did an x-ray at 3 but only of certain angles, then they added the scraping tool, and did x-rays of more angles. I think that helps kids adapt to the dentist and also doesn't throw everything at once.) 1.5 years and a few visits later, she lays on the table and watches the movie while they work. She enjoys using the sunglasses offered for the bright light! There is also a train table in the back, and in between the DH/RDA visit and the Dentists visit they let the kids go play if they want. We usually only get about 5-8 minutes with the dentist, but this is not unlike any other dentist office. We have seen Dr. Kunkel and Dr. Addie, and we thought both were great and offered good suggestions and encouragement. They have also been clear about treatment plans, if any, and answer all of our questions. Reason for loss of star: I will say, the only thing that may not be enjoyed by some families, is lack of privacy in the main treatment area. The treatment tables are side by side 4 on each side, in an open space. I think the most patients at one time that I have seen are 6. This configuration definitely helps kids understand the visit process, they can see other kids having their cleanings and maybe younger ones catch on that "it's not that bad". But then if a kid is upset, the rest that are present hear and see that too. Additionally, the lack of privacy has lead to our family hearing what is going on with another kiddos teeth and the treatment they have to go through, when really you would think due to HIPPA, that would/should be a more private conversation. For me, and our family, we don't mind...yet. I also know they do have private rooms too- but I'm unsure what those are used for/we have never been offered that as an option for cleanings. So maybe if privacy is a concern for you and your family, ask about options for private space? With that we would still recommend!

A Dentist that makes you not dread going to the dentist! I was on the hunt for a new dentist, and…read morefound this one just because I walk by it when I go to Starbucks. When I originally looked on my dental insurance website, it was not giving me their office an option. I'm really glad I looked into it because they are amazing, and it turned out they did accept my insurance. Modern Dentistry is a perfect description for this place. Their website is user friendly, you can book everything online, and fill out all your health questionnaires through it as well, leaving less time sitting in the waiting room! Also, they have some later office hours for those working folks who need a later appointment. And this millennial loves the option to book or change appointments online, and I know I'm not the only one. The office is very new, and they have all the top of the line equipment! Besides just the ease of technology, the office staff is amazing, and Dr. Rigor is top notch, don't let his age fool you, he's THE BEST DENTIST I'VE EVER HAD. Dr. Rigor is very friendly, thorough in explaining everything in detail.. he will even pull up Google and show you images to better explain something. I ended up needing a crown on my first visit, and did it all in house. I left with a "new tooth" that same day. And he guarantees it if anything were to go wrong, which was just a bonus in my opinion. He listened if I told him I needed more numbing. There was absolutely no hesitation to make me comfortable. I have heard horror stories from people not having that same experience so I thought I should note that. And when he tells you call me if you have ANY issues he means it. I had a little bit of pain the next day and thought it was infected, so I called and they got me right in. He took one look at it and knew it was ulcers (don't quote me I'm not a doctor) said he could zap them with the laser and the pain and symptoms would go away within a day, so he did and he was right the pain and symptoms went away. And while I was there I told him the crown felt a little "long" so he quickly shaved it down (completely painless) and I was in and out in just a few minutes. Also, the Dental Hygienist, Rebecca, will make you feel completely at ease, and like you've been best friends forever! Thought it was also important to note the office staff went over my cost, and options of cost BEFORE we proceeded with my crown. So I wasn't just stuck with a bill with no clue my options or how much everything would cost. And I believe for the care I received it was worth the money. I have already referred them to people who ask, and my husband also now goes there and is also happy with them. I know this is a lot to say about a dentists office, but these are things that would be important to me to know when looking for one!

Upon being called for x-rays, I informed the technician that I cannot do the bitewing PLATES due to severe GAGGING on them! I asked for a Pantagraph. Tech. had to ck with Dr Rigor. Dr. Rigor came to me insisting that if HE does not have the bitewing x-ray plates, he could NOT make a clear diagnosis! (My previous Dentist retired several yrs ago in a different city & NEVER had a problem with ONLY using the PANTAGRAPH + oral exam for diagnosis). Dr Rigor then stated (without examining my mouth) to refer me to their "traveling surgeon who would remove my severely loose tooth & BTW remove a broken one next to it!!!! I am a Sr. Citizen & work 12 hr days. He said I could return in the morning for the surgeon OR come at the end of Sept 2026. I stated I cannot. He had me make the appt anyway. I pd a dn pmt. of $100 cancelable 4 biz days prior to the appt. I was livid, As the weeks passed, I had a major trip WITH this bad tooth. I returned realizing I could not trust anyone THERE to take care of my needs. Canceled the appt, got my $ refunded. ALSO, the etiquette of the waiting room/front desk staff was unacceptable. they were visibly EATING while patients were waiting to be seen. they were also loudly talking about what they were going to eat next! Dr.'s Office etiquette in my lifetime NEVER allowed that type of behavior out of respect for the patients with their ailments!!!! This office advertised itself as "ACCOMODATING"!!! I cannot refer ANYONE to them at all!!!
