I'm not sure why this location asked, because they didn't seem to follow anything I wrote. This was for my boyfriend's birthday and his name was not on the sign when we walked in, despite me listing that in the paperwork. In the past for my birthday, I have also gotten a card. But nothing here. My boyfriend also didn't want his feet touched and that was also listed in the paperwork. Unfortunately that was not followed. We were brought to our locker rooms and they were clean, had our names and chocolates in the lockers. Very nice touch! Our robe sizes and slides were also in our lockers. There is a large shower, 2 bathroom stalls and vanity with make up lighting. We then walked to the lobby area. This was where we started to have thoughts. Employees were talking in full volume. Not very relaxing. They also kept coming in and out of the room, talking, stocking snacks constantly! Again not very relaxing. The water was nice with a lemon. My boyfriend went to get water for hot tea but the water was room temp. Not very comforting. The massages were nice. I had Ingrid and she was lovely! She did a great job and was soft in speaking during the massage. My boyfriend said his massage therapist was talking at normal volume and didn't find it as relaxing. Afterwards we said in the lobby area again. In my opinion, the fireplace at maple grove is more welcoming and comforting. This place had what looked like a diffuser and eventually it turned off and started beeping. Again not relaxing. The lobby area is also larger at the maple grove location. This location left me a bit perplexed as to why the reviews are better here than at the maple grove location....

Online was a little confusing, so I called and things were sorted immediately. The space is great! Very clean and relaxing. The staff is incredibly helpful. They escort you around and are very accommodating. You arrive 30 minutes before your appointment, change into a robe and slippers, and wait in the quiet room. Tea, water and cookies were provided. We also got a warm neck wrap. Our pedicures took place in the nail room. Only two chairs, so very private. The treatments we had were great and very relaxing! I had Kassidy and she was wonderful. I'd definitely return in the future.

Never did I expect to feel like a goddess while going to a dermatologist but Tareen's team made me…read morefeel that way. I was recommended to the clinic by a few people and reached out to them instead of the U for a skin/spot check after my doctor missed my cancer diagnosis (I'm so glad I kept pestering them and asked for another opinion...thanks Fairview...) Anyway, they already knew my diagnosis at Tareen and they proceeded to do a full body check on all my other spots then they scheduled me for a small surgery to remove the known bad spot. They scheduled me out after the summer to let me enjoy myself before I had sutures and followed up with me about another little troublesome spot that turned out to be nothing but some irritated skin treated with some ointment. When it was time for my surgery Dr Tareen herself asked how my other spot was (I know they have a file they review beforehand but this was so nice and unexpected, her bedside matter is nothing I've ever experienced before - she sees hundreds of people and can still treat each of us like humans). The doctor and the team who cut me and sewed me back up were very nice. I'm glad I brought my book though while waiting in-between checks since the giant TV on the wall with gross pictures made me a little nauseous after a while (and I'm a freakin' vet tech! Maybe I shouldn't have turned down their snacks). Highly, highly recommend Tareen and her team to anyone who needs expert skin care. My husband had a similarly sized spot removed this year as well and he went to the U - his scar is super blotchy and mine you'll barely be able to see in a while. I was thinking I'd get a tattoo to cover it up but I won't have to!

This then led to both of them needing to heat up their wax which took up more time too as the other esthetician requested some of my esthetician's wax while I awkwardly stood in the corner of the room waiting to undress. They both were very kind but it was really a let down because I was on a tight schedule today and the whole appointment took 30 minutes when it typically should take 10-15. ABOUT SERVICE: I have gotten a brazilian multiple times before at other places and have done so much research on how it is done, and the way it was being done to me was incredibly painful and caused irritation. Not only was the wax being applied while not melted enough, the esthetician was spreading the wax in all directions and lifting the stick which tugged and caused a lot of discomfort for me. She then applied a strip and pulled in all directions instead of against the grain. This caused wax to continue to stick onto my skin where she repeatedly tried to use the strip to stick and pull off wax (this caused major discomfort to me skin even after I left). After the waxing she used tweezers to get majority of the leftover hair (thankfully), but then proceeded to just put powder on my skin and said I was done. I got home with wax still sticky on my skin and discomfort when urinating and wiping even hours after the appointment. This would have been a completely different story if it was one or the other, but being late and doing an improper service really bummed me out and I hope my skin heals soon. I just really wanted good service and hope people see this and do some more research before committing!

My esti was very kind - she asked me about my current routine and I walked through what I was using. Some of her suggestions surprised me, as they differed from what my dermatologist had recommended, but appreciated her input. The treatment itself was good - I love seeing how much gunk the hydrafacial pulls out! I was a bit bummed that my facial didn't include neck or décolletage - other facials I've gotten at other spaces have done those as part of the facial. Perhaps that's just not included with a hydrafacial? As the most expensive offering though, it was a bit of a bummer. I do feel it helped hydrate and cleanse my face, but am not sure if I would come back soon for that particular treatment. I'd consider trying one of their more affordable mini or regular facials in the future though!

I had a pass that was for 9 waxes, and then they had a promotion going on two months ago (June) for the unlimited pass. This is what I really do not like about EWC, they push the front staff to up sale so they will withhold important information just to make the sale, or mislead you to make the sale. I was advised, my unlimited pass would start after I finished my current pass, so I went ahead with the purchase. I finally finished my last wax for my 9-pass last weekend 8/16. When I asked the front staff when my new pass would start the gave me a date of Aug 20. It didn't make sense to me, since I wouldn't be in for at least another 3 weeks, so I'm basically losing a month. The manager wasn't in so then I called later on in the week. When I call the manager told me the pass starts when I bought it. Again, this is not what I was told. She then continued to tell me my 9-wax pass was completed in June when I bought the unlimited pass, which was not accurate. So, that tells me she really didn't look at my account before trying to get assist me and really just wanted to get me off the phone. She then said that I was correct and my last visit was 8/16 so she'll change my new pass to start 8/17. Again, how is this fair to me that I would be losing a month? Had I known it was going to start the day I made the purchase I wouldn't purchase the pass until I needed it. She then put me on hold and came back and said it was company policy that they couldn't change the start date, but she was going to do it this one time for me (as if it was my fault that they did a poor job providing the proper information). Then she continued to tell me that my pass for the 9 visit never expires and that I could've saved it and started using my unlimited pass right away. She did not like that I pushed back and stated that it should've been communicated to me at the time of the purchase. It was just upsetting for me because there was no accountability taken and she basically blamed me and acted like she was doing me a favor for the misinformation given. I've heard numerous stories from esthetician about how terrible the leadership and the management is with the company. I truly feel bad for them. I loved every esthetician that I had, I switched locations just to follow certain esthetician. This is really just more information to get all the details before making any purchases, the front will be pushy but that's because they have to be.
