I was at Windward Mall and wanted something fresh. I saw Aloha Salad and wanted to give it a try. They look like they have a lot of great options. I ended up getting the paniolo salad. I got the small and added grilled chicken. I was wondering later if I should have gotten the large but I'm glad I didn't. They really fill the container so it was actually a really good amount. It took a while for it to be ready but I think because I got the chicken and it was grilling? Everything tasted really good all together though. I only wish they gave a little more dressing. I would love to go again and try some of the other things they offer as well. read more

We always order the gyro wrap from here because it is so good. However, my wife found a piece of plastic in her wrap. Very lucky that she found it before taking a bite and removed it. Very disappointing. Preparers should really take great care in making their salads and sandwiches. This is the first time that this has happened out of the numerous times that we have been there. However, it is difficult to return there in the future because of the lack of trust. My wife called and spoke to the manager who was very polite and helpful. After meeting someone at Windward Mall, we walked around and saw this place. I enjoyed my Aloha Gyro Wrap so much when I ordered this at the Pearlridge location that I had to order this again. This wrap includes grilled Mediterranean seasoned lamb and beef, grilled red onions, feta cheese, fresh dill topped with mixed greens and their famous goddess dressing served on pita bread. My husband wanted his usual Ono Island Ahi salad that includes mixed greens, ahi tuna, mangoes, avocado, coconut, strawberries, green onions and bean sprouts with passion orange vinaigrette. Was dying from lack of fresh veggies but found this gem!!! The worker was super nice and kind and understood our complaints about too much meat and carbs. Ordered the Aloha Mediterranean with no garbanzo beans. Everything tasted fresh, refreshing, and yummy! I got the regular size, and they really pack in a ton in the box! First timer to this location! . Staff are shy. Barely explained the menu. Barely heard her list the customizable options from across the register. Failed to call out names for completed orders, meaning food sat on the counter unclaimed. . Food itself was yummy! Steak wrap in pita and chicken pesto on ciabatta bread hit the spot for a mid-morning, brunch kind of meal. Both can get sloppy very quickly! No forks available, just knives. This Windward Mall location is not found in the food court but along side other eateries as well near the Bath and Body Works which I was exploring and decided that I was hungry lol! Not really craving something too much you know you know and thought that a fresh salad was it though was an easy choice until I browsed the menu which actually was quite difficult to read as it was placed on the back wall was difficult to see which I assume is something their used to as they had a handful of handheld menu for me to glance over. Chicken Pesto Sub was it for me as they had me at mozzarella to then I had a choice of breads which I can't remember but know that when she said spinach wrap that was it for me as it sounded amazing already. They are quite busy here with lots of phone orders it did take a bit for my order which I didn't mind but with just a couple of staff working on it all did their best. The vibe here is a bit boring as I was lucky to find seating nearby though I didn't really taste much pesto that was mixed in with the mayo which was really disappointing as it was the reason why I chose it but did satisfy my cravings at a fair price. I really like the steak that comes on the salads, though it is over-priced, and the gyro is good but laughably small. Second was craving a salad so decided to go it was 17.06 with added grilled chicken for a large,my ooonly gripe is there was so little chicken to the amount of salad it was maybe 6 little strips and there was no taste, for 5.50 I want a little more than that,and two little stale pieces of pita bread couldve given one whole one for the size of the salad,with that said everything was fresh and the dressing was sooooo good wish there was a little more, was my first time coming so I didnt know to ask for extra....also wish the menu was bigger hard to read the print is so small....with that I will give 4 stars read more

I was visiting the bunnies at Ko'olau Pets Plants & Ponds and the plushies at N Cat when I noticed this new business: Aloha Salads! I had been to the Kahala Mall location, and my friend's husband just got his lunch from the Pearlridge Center location! When I saw his salad, I thought: "Wow... I want a salad like that!" Even a stranger passed by and told him his salad looked "bomb"! LOL! Gosh... it was meant to be... what a coincidence... I was going to get that salad! McKenna was the helpful, cheerful, and efficient cashier. I told her I had seen a colorful salad a couple of days ago... We figured out that it was the Aloha Mediterranean Salad with tomatoes, purple onion slivers, kalamata olives, feta cheese, red and green bell peppers, cubed cucumber, and garbanzo beans on a bed of fresh Romaine lettuce. Yes! It came with some Pita bread - nice touch! I took the salad home, tossed everything together in a large bowl with the dressing, and devoured it! YUM!!! It was so refreshing, and I didn't feel guilty about eating a Large salad! This takeout business is very convenient. Order at one window and pick up at the window around the corner. There are tables and chairs nearby if you want to dine at the mall. Free parking, clean restrooms, and pleasant air-conditioning are other pluses! I'll be back! read more

Since I've moved off island I have been missing having a place like aloha salads. I'm here visiting and I was excited to see they have a spot at Windward mall now so I wanted to give it a try. I ordered a tomato bisque and a chicken gyro wrap. They weren't busy when I went to order my food. As I was placing my order I asked for a cheesy pita and the girl taking my order looked at me like a deer in headlights. I explained to her what it is and how to make it. She still looked at me like I was crazy. She then charged me for extra pita and didn't give me what I asked for. The worker who took my order seemed to be high as a kite and had no sense of urgency. After I was done placing my order they started to get busy, I watched them as the tickets came in and two of the workers were standing there talking for at least 5 minutes with no cares that there were customers waiting for their food. They had choke tickets coming out of the printer and didn't bother to check them or place them where they should have been because they were standing there talking. I noticed that they had to bring a bag of mixed greens out from the back because there was no more on the line. By the time I got my food, my wrap was soggy and cold and everything fell apart as I tried to eat it. You can't mess up the soup because it stays in a warmer and is hot. Service needs improvement and they need to know how to make what the customer asks for and be aware of how busy it can get at any moment. I was so disappointed. Will not be going back to this location. You are better off going to Kailua or Pearlridge. read more

There is finally a yummy salad place in Kaneohe! Located inside of Windward Mall, where LaTour and MJ's used to be is now Aloha Salads. Lots of ample parking and lots of open tables throughout the mall to enjoy your salad, wrap, soups or açaí bowl. On this gloomy day, what's better than some tomato bisque. I normally add on the grilled cheese sandwich, but today, I wanted a wrap. Got the gyro wrap just to be a little different than the normal type of thing. Wraps are sliced in half and filled with fresh greens, sliced onions, feta, goddess dressing and warm lamb/beef. All wrapped in a soft pita bread. Tomato bisque is one of my fave things from here. Consistently delicious. And is served with 2 pieces of warm pita bread. If you've never had this soup from here, it's a little spicy with some red pepper flakes. So just a heads up. And it does have cream and cheese in it. All in all, this will be my new fave spot to grab a bite in the mall. read more

Cashier had no "customer service" and was greeted with just a look! Ordered a "island Ahi Salad" for my sis' lunch. She returned it because there was a "slug" in it! She returned it right away and requested a refund for my hubby since he paid for it, but we haven't seen that come thru yet. Horrible experience at Aloha Salads this evening. Ordered online (which I have done at least 25 times before). Pick up time was confirmed for 5:30pm. My husband goes to pick up my salad and the employee says, "oh, I'll make it now'. Salad is finally ready at 5:45pm and my fish is not cooked through (as ordered). Really, really disappointed with the service tonight. Poor work ethic, lack of attention to detail, no acknowledgment of mistakes. I urge management to up the training and quality control!!! Make your tummy happy with a nice new healthy addition to Windward Mall. Aloha salad also offers Açaís bowls and wraps. I ordered the gyros that has lamb and beef in it. I've been waiting for a salad place to open up in Kaneohe (and specifically an Aloha Salads). While walking around Windward Mall yesterday, I was shocked and surprised to see Aloha Salads shining in the corner counter spot that used to be MJ Cafe's relocated spot. (First floor, almost center court, but heading towards Target.) Service was quick (the employees seemed to still be learning the ordering machines/process -- it's that new) and I ordered the Mandarin Ginger salad, Aloha Gyro Wrap, and a cup of their Clam Chowder. All delicious. They just opened on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 (according to the cashier) and I hope they stay there permanently. read more

I usually get the Maui Mozzarella but they don't have it on their menu at the Kaneohe location. So I tried the Ono Ahi salad. It did not disappoint. So delicious! I'm so glad that Aloha Salads finally made its way to Windward Mall! My coworkers and I were just talking about how we needed something fresh to eat. Fresh is just what we got! The food is GREAT! (Trying one menu item at a time..ok ok sometimes two) The service is even BETTER! We order there probably a few times a week, the staff are friendly and start to remember you/your favorite order. Just visiting Hawai'i and stopped at this place in the mall to grab an açaí bowl and it was delicious!!!! The açaí base was a great consistency and tastes so yummy and not bland like a lot of other places. The two girls working were so kind and went above and beyond for us.
