It meant finally being able to close an incredibly difficult chapter of our lives and move forward with a sense of peace and security that we have been waiting a very long time for. From beginning to end, Tera was patient, supportive, communicative, and truly dedicated to helping us get through this process. She understood how much this refinance meant to us on a personal level, and we always felt like we had someone in our corner who genuinely cared about getting us to the finish line. Having this refinance finally completed has relieved an amount of stress that is hard to even put into words. It feels like an enormous weight has been lifted off our shoulders, and the sense of relief we have now is something we simply cannot compare. For the first time in a long time, we feel like we can finally close that chapter, breathe, and focus on moving forward. Tera, thank you for all of your hard work, patience, and dedication. You didn't just help us refinance our home--you helped give our family a fresh start and a sense of peace that means more to us than you will ever know. We will forever be grateful for everything you did to help make this possible.

I wanted to take a minute and share my experience with Brady and his team at Guaranteed Rate. I,…read morelike millions of other Americans wanted to take advantage of the historically low interest rates and refinance my existing mortgage. I had heard of Brady over the years from friends who had worked with him - all of which were positive reviews. I decided to give Brady a call to ask his opinion on my situation and whether refinancing was a good fit for me. With Brady's help, the answer was yes - a no brainer. I started the process right away, and momentum was gained. Things moved along nicely for the first couple weeks, and then communication tapered a bit. I reached out to the team a few times and never got any relevant responses, and the process started becoming a little frustrating. Brady reached out directly to me to explain the situation that the system was overwhelmed, as there are millions of people just like me refinancing at this time. Brady did not use the overwhelmed system as a justification, but rather maintained his integrity and took initiative to steer the process back on course. The process went smooth from that point on - a matter of me fulfilling the underwriting requirements to secure the final approval and head to closing. My mortgage was recorded today, and I could not be more excited about what Brady and his team helped me secure. If anyone ever asks me directly or indirectly if I would recommend a lender, I will absolutely share my experience and recommend Brady and his team.

You would think they would look at the house BEFORE i signed the papers. The best part: I asked "now what?" And they did not provide options - just a countdown to when the policy expired. On my own, I called insurers with State Farm's reason for dropping the house within a month. I found a company that encouraged more details about the house and said that it was well taken care of and decided to insure it. After ringing around and finding that most insurance companies wouldn't insure the house (it is within 1,000 ft of the beach), or that the agents didn't bother to return my call or send an email as promised, or suggested we call into the office we were beginning to worry that insurance would be a big problem for us. After trying 5 other companies/agents (recommended on Yelp!) with no result I rang Wayne and left a message on his answerphone. He called back within 10 minutes, was very personable, professional, positive and helpful and had the situation totally under control. He took some information down over the phone, then emailed a quote within the hour. After another phone call we had narrowed down the coverage we wanted and he emailed the papers for signature over to us to sign, scan and email back. He also posted the documentation which arrived within days to our CA address. The whole thing went smoothly and Wayne was a joy to work with. I can't understand how Wayne isn't already listed on Yelp! I would definitely recommend Wayne to anyone on Maui who needs house insurance, especially if you are on the mainland.
