Needed to get my eyelashes done for a family photo shoot, and Amanda thankfully accommodated my request for a last minute appt! I just texted her, and she responded quickly. I had not gotten my lashes done in forever, so was unsure about what to get. I was recommended to go for a classic cateye look considering I wanted to be conservative and get used to having eyelashes. The process took about two hours for a full set, but felt shorter because Amanda was very sociable. The location stores various lazy boy recliners for the eyelash installation process. It is very clean, dimly lit and adorned with greenery. There is also a snack bar up front. I saw Christine for a full classic set of lashes and a brow tint, and it was one of the best lash experiences I've had. Christine was extremely pleasant from the beginning. She made sure I had everything I needed to be comfortable (her head pillow is sooo nice, I usually end up with a sore head/neck from lying on those tables so long, and this was the first time I didn't experience that), and she was wonderful to chat with. I have been here a couple times so far for my lashes. Everyone here is really friendly and does a great job! I'm happy I finally found a place that is consistent with the work. Booking an appointment is online and super easy. Amanda has done my lashes and they are exactly what I want and her technique is stunning. I'm able to go almost 3 weeks and the lashes still look great. I have also seen June for my airbrush tans and this is the only tan that didn't leave me orange or blotchy and it was a really beautiful even tan. I recommend this place to everyone!! read more

I have been getting lash extensions for the last several years. I blame myself for not knowing exactly what I get done, but I've been going to the same lash person for years, and usually I can communicate well enough with pictures and such without getting into the full details (sizes, materials...). I recently moved to the San Diego area, and I've had a difficult time finding someone who provides and understands lash service to my Asian peepers. I messaged the owner a few times and she recommended one of her stylists, and although the customer service I received was great, the set I got was not anything I had originally asked for. I asked for a hybrid set (even showed a picture from their own Yelp site), nothing heavy - as I like the natural/fake (yup... I said it) look. I have Asian eyelashes - short and barely there. And to keep this ongoing addiction, they need to be able to sustain the fake lashes - this I know. So I asked to keep it on the shorter side, and nothing too heavy, with variance in length (shorter on the ends, longer in the middle). When I opened my eyes, and looked at the end result, I saw caterpillars attached to my eyelids. It was all one length, from end-to-end, and super fake. I was stunned. And mostly appalled. I paid, walked to my car... but decided to come back and see if she could fix it. She did what she could and removed several fills too lessen the fullness in the allotted time (I had a mtg to run to). She admittedly said she had a heavy hand for volume lashes. When I showed the picture again, she said yeah, these are hybrid probably mixed with classics. The description under the picture says "hybrid". Again, the picture is of their own work. She was very kind, removed what she could to make it less heavy, and I left. I asked if she could cut them, but said it wouldn't look right, but I ended up coming home and cutting them down to a shorter length, as they were hitting my eyelids (again, Asian eyes). I would also like to note, the set felt very tight against my eyelids, which I know isn't normal. After a week I went somewhere else to get them removed and replaced with what I wanted... that review is coming. I write this review just as a heads up - for those with light lashes, be careful. I do like to give chances to new stylists, but this was a costly mistake, as I had to get it redone properly 1 week later. read more

i loved coming here and getting my lashes done, but recently i contracted ringworm from this place three days later after my lash fill (january 12th). the lash techs are the only people getting close to my eyes, and i got ringworm right next to my inner corner on my right eye. i will not be saying the lash names tech because i don't want her to get in trouble, but i would just want to bring this forward and hopefully you guys will sanitize your equipment more. read more

First impression review (lash experience): Okay so first off, the recliner chairs... genius idea! My whole experience was incredibly comfortable. Aside from the recliners, Grey was extremely sweet and easy to get along with. She was able to talk to me and go to work on my lashes at the same time making time go by very fast. In between working she made sure I was okay and not in any kind of pain or discomfort. Now the lashes themselves... I'm in love. They are so thick and curled, I can't help but to look at them every time I walk past a mirror. No type of strip lashes can compare! I'd never been told that before, and the person who put them on seemed nervous and couldn't get the tape on around my eyes on correctly. Grey DIDN'T have that problem whatsoever! Another problem I had with the last person who put my lashes on were they felt very heavy, and made my made my eyes itchy. These are light and fluffy,and feel like my own. Asked for a volume set definitely sparse. Usually the artist asks the client when they are almost done to take a look & let them know where they would like any changes. She never did that & just said I'm done & asked for payment, I was surprised she didn't even have me look in the mirror to see if I was happy.
