Shawn is absolutely amazing at everything she does in her salon, especially lashes. I had tried a few other salons before finding her and I was never satisfied. After my first appointment with Shawn, I knew I would never go anywhere else. My lashes always look natural and exactly how I want them. She was very kind and patient during my first appointment while I was trying to decide what style would suit what I was looking for best. At the end, she really took the time to thoroughly go through the eyelash Home Care so that my lashes would stay healthy and last as long as possible. Lash health and safety is of number one importance for Shawn. She reviews everything extensively with you and then also provides videos and tutorials on her website just in case you forget anything once you are home. Shawn's salon is always immaculate. It is beautifully decorated and you can tell that health and sanitation is of paramount importance to her.  That was something I was very concerned about as I was looking for lash studios. I was very worried about infections, especially since the eyes are so delicate. Once I saw Shawn's salon and watched how carefully she takes care of every aspect, I knew I was in perfect hands! I am also impressed at how Shawn is constantly continuing her education in her field. She is always up on the latest trends and techniques. She has a packed client list, but yet still finds the time to take classes and mentor others. This is so important and it definitely shows the passion she has for her craft. I found this place through a Groupon, but I know how business owners like to treat Groupon, so I made contact with them to say I'm about to buy your Groupon, and they said they'd just honor the Groupon price and asked which location I was looking for. I said I was really interested in Lashes from this Jeremy that everyone raves about on Yelp. Boy am I glad I had him do my lashes! Best lash experience I have ever had. And I have had some bad ones, like my eyelids being practically glued shut. I had Jeremy do my lashes...after I explained what I wanted he recommended going for the more full, voluminous lash than the "natural" (which was more expensive, but worth it). When I mentioned that I didn't want to mess around with mascara on my vacation in Jamaica, Jeremy explained the different lash types and that he didn't want me to be disappointed with the more subtle "natural" style. He's the expert, so I went with his recommendation. I got my lashes on October 8th, and was taking a red-eye that night to Jamaica. My lashes stayed on and looked FABULOUS for my whole trip, I did take care of them as instructed. I even made the baby shampoo cleanser and brought a foaming pump dispenser with me to Jamaica. And I think that plus being in the ocean a lot (the salt water cures the glue really well he told me) made them last so long. My lashes didn't come off until December 8th, fully. I lost some along the way, of course. But on Dec 8th, a full 2 months after application, I helped the last few off, as they were starting to look too sparse and weird. I was a little afraid to change Lash ladies, but I was Extremely lucky to have upgraded. I love them even more. Sorry other lash company lol. Shawn is just amazing, super nice, clean, and fast. I told her to go as long and curly as she could go. I'm over the moon with the results. They last twice as long, and they stay looking amazing. I workout 6 times a week and wash my face twice a day and they hold up All that. I will refer all my friends that are interested in getting Lash Extensions. I went to one other place and you are not suppose to feel your lashes. The other place used way too much glue abs glued more than one if my natural lashes per extension. It ended up hurting me. I have waited almost a year to write a review thinking my irritation with this business would diminish but with each email I receive from them it just reminds me i need to post this review. this business is so not worth it! You'll hear how no one else does lashes correctly. And you'll believe it. Then 2-3 days later the sparse pathetic lashes you've spent more money on than you would anywhere else... will start falling out. What was most annoying was when I tried this business they actually had a special on for a full set of lashes...did they tell me this when they told me the total bill for the lash extensions they put on that looked like nothing more than my own normal lashes? NO. That killed my return business right there when I later went to the website that day and saw they had a special they had failed to mention. The stake through the heart killing any thought of return business was 2-3 days later as my lashes fell out. Olga's lashes in Scottsdale, AZ always lasted about 3 weeks before even beginning to fall out....despite the assertion by AZ Lash Lady that the lashes other people used were too big and heavy blah blah blah. My current lash extensions also last a minimum of 3 weeks...usually 4. Stay away unless you like paying twice what you should for half the quality. Find another lash stylist. And don't believe the crap that every other stylist does lashes wrong! read more

I had my lashes done for the first time with Jeremy and I was a little skeptical since I've heard so many horror stories about lash places. But I thought I'd give it a try anyways. I told him I didn't want dramatic but enough to show the curl in the lashes. He gave me exactly what I wanted and I couldn't be happier! I also did the pumpkin peel with Jeremy and he explains and checks how you're doing through the whole process. These guys are amazing. My lashes have lasted four weeks or more! I had zero lashes flip upside down and my lashes looked natural. I have had my lashes done at other locations, but have never been given the care and attention that Shawn gave me. They listened to exactly what I wanted and delivered the look I wanted while educating me about why they had to be done the way that they were. They did everything they could to protect the health of my lashes and encourage growth. They helped me understand how to repair damage caused from my previous lashes. In addition, they teach you how to care for your lashes and give you a recipe for a special lash cleanser. I love urban lashes! Jeremy is very good at what he does, and very knowledgeable, actually talks you through the appointment and is very communicative of the process. I went here due to a groupon I found, and I have to admit, being my first time getting eyelash extensions and being a bit of a nervous person I was worried about the results. I only had one minor mishap but I am pretty sure it was my fault, probably touched my eyelash and got bacteria on it. I got a little stye right after and though maybe it was the glue they used. I spoke with the owner via text, who by the way gets back you very quickly and answers any questions you might have. and she offered to remove the lashes. I decided to wait a few days because I didn't want to lose my new beautiful lashes and the issue cleared right up. After that I had beautiful lashes for weeks and they held up nicely while vacationing in Kauai. I made the mistake of trying out another company called Candy lash a few months later, boy was that a mistake! My eyes were sticking together and burned and they said this was normal! No it is not! Urban Lash is now my go to place, they even honored a second groupon I bought when that is actually only for first time customers (only cause I didn't know.) They actually have great deals even without groupon. Follow their facebook for specials! They are very hygienic and make sure they do not put lashes that are too heavy and will harm your eyes. The owner is certified and trained which is a major plus, since this type of service is not monitored by the health board in California. So word to the wise, be careful who touches your eyes!!! read more

I had a horrible experience getting lash extensions for the first time and thank God I found Shawn to fix it! She pointed out that my lashes were glued together, plus they were drooping into my eye because the last girl used lashed that were too thick (and heavy) for my natural lashes to support. When Shawn fixed my lashes, they looked and felt incredible--and much more natural looking, which is exactly what I wanted. She's big on educating her clients to give them the best immediate and long-term experience.
