He was dressed appropriately fitting the Christian Hawaiian themed ceremony. His wife Tatiana who was our photographer, took some gorgeous and breathtaking photos. Stephan directed me to their website but when I asked about the locations offered for the ceremony he was very rude and told me that all answers are on the website - which is not true. This company is far from professional. They did not discuss the ceremony with me like I am now reading that they did for some others. They were late and had another ceremony after so we were rushed. Plus the in-house photographer was far from professional or respectful. There was an accident with my dress and instead of helping me, she just kept taking pictures of the embarrassment. Not only that but she posted them on the page for anyone with pictures taken could see. And when I pointed this out...he didn't even apologize. In fact he was argumentative and rude. I was super excited to book with Aloha fun weddings for my vow renewal. However I found that speaking with Rev. Stefan he seemed unwilling to help with questions I had regarding different parts of the ceremony. We also paid for extra leis and did not receive those for our son and my mom. It seems to be a bit disorganized through out the process. It rained on the day if renewal and our pictures - some turned out great - the majority we look like wet cats. We would've thought someone would contact us to see if we wanted an alternate date or to do our photos on a day that wasn't storming. Rev. Carll was great! He was super helpful and very into the ceremony which we appreciated. Also - I chose 40 photos I liked best (which was included in our package) and those aren't the photos that were sent to us. He officiated our vow renewal ceremony on Oneloa beach in Kapalua, Maui, Hawaii on April 3rd. It was small and personal just us and my (photographer) sister. Our leis were beautiful! I bought some exact matching loose orchids to pin in my hair from the florist just up the road. I admit I was a bit nervous trying to hire someone over the phone from Florida! And having booked two months in advance- I found it difficult to get questions asked and answered with the person who answers the phone. I ended up booking online; then waiting until a week away from the date to talk to Richard about details. Although that was my choice to wait - they had given me his phone number after I made the reservation to talk with him directly but I decided to wait to call. This is a great wedding option if you want something low maintenance and aren't picky about things. Margarita married us and the vows were so beautiful and exactly what I wanted for a traditional Hawaiian Ceremony. She also helped keep our kids occupied so we could take a few photos by ourselves, which was so sweet. The photographer they hired gave excellent direction, although I haven't received all the photos yet. For the price, you really can't beat how easy it all was. I think the only improvement I would make is maybe they could send pics of the flowers they are bringing and headpiece. Reverend Stefan was absolutely accommodating and warmly professional the entire time I conversed with him months before my wedding and up until two hours before my wedding! The price is unbeatable! I was worried because a hurricane was raging through Maui the day before my wedding and I called to ask what would happen if it didn't stop raining (my ceremony was planned on the beach) and they said that there would be no refunds and there was no plan B you just waited until the rain stopped. I thought this was kind of odd and I would suggest to plan your own plan B or bring an awning. Luckily the rain stopped and MY WEDDING WAS PERFECT. Bobbie-Jo conducted our service and she was extravagant, we deeply appreciated the cultural meaning that she brought to our ceremony. She setup the flowers and even made me a flower bouquet for our pictures which I didn't think about but it definitely made our pictures look correct and romantic.
