When we decided to have our wedding in Maui, we did extensive research and sent out several inquiries. Frank and Yurika from Maui Aloha Weddings were incredibly responsive and detailed in their communication, and their package offerings were very diverse. We were able to find exactly what we were looking for. The wedding bouquet from Aloha Maui Flowers was absolutely amazing. I had done a lot of research and envisioned my dream bouquet--and they went beyond my expectations! If you are looking for your dream wedding in Maui, they are a clear winner in quality, service, and hospitality. We had a wonderful experience from start to finish with Maui Aloha Weddings! We worked primarily with Frank, who was always prompt, clear, and easy to communicate with throughout the entire planning process. The day before our ceremony, Frank checked our beach location after the recent storms from Hurricane Lowell and found that the beach had sustained significant damage. While we could still have held the ceremony there on the grass, he gave us the option of another beautiful location, which we ultimately chose. We really appreciated how proactive he was and that he gave us options. They also offer a great variety of wedding packages and choices for officiants, photographers, videographers, and more. Even the marriage license process was easy. Everything was smooth, organized, and stress-free. We would absolutely recommend them to anyone planning a Maui wedding! We will cherish this memory for a lifetime! read more

Our wedding was absolutely perfect thanks to Frank & Peggy! Communication was excellent. The photographer Ian Sheppard was fantastic, he doesn't just go through the motions, he put thought into every shot. Our officiant Laki Kaahumanu was a blast. Our flowers, including centerpieces for our reception were stunning! Even Lori, who did my hair and makeup was a sweetheart. Our guests had a great time. A few of our guests with mobility issues were guided through the whole ceremony. I couldn't imagine a better company to work with for the perfect Maui wedding. It was zero stress! The only 2 things I did not do (my mistake, not theirs!) that I would suggest are a videographer and an add on for a photographer at the reception- we were so busy eating, we forgot to take pictures!! read more

While the wedding came off well, the final communications were very stressful. Read the other reviews and you will see issues with communication. So, why 4 stars then? For 2 reasons: A Maui wedding is still special and Peggy's staff knows her shortcomings and makes it work. I am an engineer/project manager therefor I am very detail oriented and very clear in my communications. It became very clear to me in the last few days before the wedding that Peggy wasn't reading all the emails nor the attachments that detailed our desires over the last 8 months. There were questions about the additions we requested and the billing of those services up to the day of the wedding. In the end Peggy made good on the wedding, but it sure was stressful. Expect Peggy to rarely be in the office or available by phone. On the wedding day I asked Peggy's service providers if it always seems screwed up like this. The response was a unanimous laugh, "yes" and "but we got you covered". And they did! The limo driver, photographer, videographer, harpist and minister were a well oiled machine that saved the day. The service providers went above and beyond to make the day special. We received our pictures and video back and they were as wonderful as the wedding. The only negative part of the actual wedding was the cake. Not very good cake quality nor decorated very nice at all. The bride complained about the cake and everyone agreed with her. Peggy needs a new bakery. read more

Our daughter and son-in-law renewed their vows on Ironwood Beach with Pastor Laki. It was 18 years ago that we renewed our vows on Maui with Pastor Laki as well. The first thing to remember about a wedding planner is that you do not want to worry about how your ceremony and reception are going while they are happening. You want to be able to float along and enjoy the experience. I believe that most families are happy that they hired a planner to assist them; we certainly were. The second thing to remember is that you are the best judge of what you want in a wedding. You do not need someone to tell you what you should want, or what "all my brides" do. You need someone who will listen to you, and then make sure that what you want is what happens. Peggy Temple was exactly what we needed. Peggy is a perfect combination of professionalism and charm. She thought of everything, took charge of every detail and allowed our rather complicated timeline to work. The most important compliment I can give her is that the event flowed effortlessly. We had a hiccup with the photographers being mixed up on the site. Reverend Mike brought his camera and he as an excellent photographer took some amazing photos and captured all the beauty of the moment. Moment that would have been a disaster was dealt with and we were put at easy in a minute. Peggy has our highest recommendation! Reverend Mike has our highest recommendation! If there were more stars for a recommendation like one million, Maui Aloha Weddings would get it. read more

Peggy is nothing short of a miracle worker! In the midst of planning an impromptu birthday trip to Maui my fiancé (now husband!) and I decided we should get married in paradise. This was about a month out so it was pretty last minute. Despite this Peggy never made me feel rushed and actually helped secure my date so that I had a concrete day to look forward to and plan for. As someone who was never interested in the idea of a big wedding because the planning stressed me out, Peggy made it so that all I had to do was simply show up and be present. Not to mention it is incredibly affordable for what it's worth. She was communicative, even through the time zone difference, and made picking my desired vendors easy. Our photographer Felix and Rev. Laki were both very personable and help us both relax on the big day and made it unforgettable. The day couldn't have been more perfect! If you're on the fence about it...this is your sign.
