We spoke to several flower companies and none seemed as detailed or responded back as quick as Christine did. We had never met in person but she is very efficient through email. She does get very busy so there were a few times where I had to follow up on a request made but it was not a big deal. She took care of all the boutonnieres for the groom, groomsmen, father of the couple, ushers, and even made mini ones for our tiny ring beareres! For my side she made my bouquet (which I wanted to have our wedding colors in my bouquet of navy blue and gray) and my bridesmaids bouquets which were all white. She also made baby's breath flower crowns for my two flower girls who were different sizes and made the size accordingly. She did the lei for our moms and also for all 25 of our out of town guests. I had wanted more color in my bouquet but I can understand how hard that would be to find navy blue and gray flowers and incorporate them, especially being in Hawaii. But I could tell that she did the best she could. Because our reception was outdoors, we opted not to have any flower decorations. Instead, we wanted to decorate the church aisle. I had asked her for baby's breath posy bouquets on every other row and then ribbon bows on the alternating rows. I sent her a picture of something that I pictured in my head which was very simple. But the bows that she created were BEAUTIFUL. They were wide material and draped beautifully. We ended up using them to redecorate our sweetheart table with them at the reception! I'll try to add some photos for reference. Christine answered all of my questions and was very patient with me in updating our flower plan as I did notice some errors throughout while editing. She is very competitively priced for the responsibilities she will be doing for us. We also hired Jill to take care of all of the floral on the big day. We hosted our wedding at the Ko'olau Ballroom with about 122 guests that were mainly all from out of state. My wife could tell that Jill was experienced when she sent her photos and details of what she envisioned that the wedding was going to be like after our first initial conversation. She was on point and guided us throughout the process. She had great suggestions and advised on details on the wedding. We wanted to make the wedding a great time since we want to make it an unforgettable experience for us, our family, and all of our guests since they are all coming out of their way to travel to Hawaii to attend. Jill gave us wonderful referrals to our photographer, videographer, EMCEE, DJ, and many vendors. We hired the All-Star Cast and they delivered! All of our guests and family reached out to us and told us how much fun they had. The wedding went so smoothly besides one small hiccup on a vendor, but Jill got the situation handled! She was able to provide a quote during our initial phone call, which was impressive, especially compared to other florists who took weeks -- even months -- to send one over. She worked within my budget and thoughtfully suggested ways to repurpose ceremony arrangements for the reception, which helped us save money. One challenge I experienced was at the start of our time working together. When I requested a few edits to the contract, it was initially difficult to get in touch with her or her team. As someone who is very Type A, the contract details were extremely important to me, and I felt hesitant signing before those revisions were made. Unfortunately, it took nearly two months to receive a response, and I had to follow up multiple times via email and text before hearing back. Additionally, her quote was presented as one full price rather than itemized. Other florists I spoke with provided itemized breakdowns, which I personally appreciated in case I needed to remove or adjust specific pieces. Due to the lag on our part in settling on a date with the family, we lost Shari's availability to be our planner and coordinator. We spoke to a few planners. Shari was the only one who would follow-up with us on texts. There were planners who never gotten back to us for quotes. There was one planner who would say she is available to coordinate during the initial call then returned an email a day afterwards stating no longer available and would substitute with another coordinator. There is also another planner who mentions no questions in emails would be addressed until the contract begins which is one year from the wedding date. When we told Shari about our concern that our desired venue would not book more than a year out. She helped us called the venue to get it sorted out. She did this before we inked a contract with her. From that, I think Shari is the type who would go above and beyond when needed. I feel Shari genuinely cares for the couples she work with, and she focuses on getting things done rather than the fancy marketing on social media. I would highly recommend engaged couples to have a consultation with Shari and find out if she could be a right fit for them.

The Kona low storm system really threw us for a loop.
