Watanabe Floral is Hawaii's largest full service floral shop since 1946, and my favorite shop. I try to visit here at least once a week to pick up roses/florals for my 2 vases, this help me think of a special person in my life who Loves floral. This place is such a happy vibe place/feeling, once you enter you will know what I mean. I just love the decor, so colorful, cheerful, so happy! I remember the very first time when I brought my mom here, I could see her happy face, I had to snap a photo of her at front of store. My recent visit I picked 10 colorful roses for my vase and also had to pick up a Birthday gift. Loved looking at all the orchids, picking one was hard. Watanabe has everything here, not only floral needs, you can just do your one stop gift shopping her. Up until now, they've always done a great job, but this recent experience for Mother's Day was extremely disappointing. First, the delivery driver brought the wrong bouquet. I paid $209.41 (including delivery), but my mom received a bouquet that was clearly not what I ordered later confirmed to be a lower priced arrangement. I had to call customer service, who then contacted the driver immediately. While I appreciate that they responded quickly, it still took about 47 minutes for the driver to return, take back the incorrect bouquet, and retrieve the correct one from the truck. When the correct arrangement finally arrived, the presentation was still off. The vase was too short for the flowers, making the bouquet look unbalanced and like it was falling out. For over $200, I expected much better attention to detail and quality. On top of that, the company advertised "free delivery," but that only applied to very limited areas on the island. I still had to pay a delivery fee despite the initial mistake being entirely on their end, which felt misleading. Overall, this was a frustrating and disappointing experience, especially for a special occasion like Mother's Day. I've had good experiences before, but this one really missed the mark.

We spoke to several flower companies and none seemed as detailed or responded back as quick as Christine did. We had never met in person but she is very efficient through email. She does get very busy so there were a few times where I had to follow up on a request made but it was not a big deal. She took care of all the boutonnieres for the groom, groomsmen, father of the couple, ushers, and even made mini ones for our tiny ring beareres! For my side she made my bouquet (which I wanted to have our wedding colors in my bouquet of navy blue and gray) and my bridesmaids bouquets which were all white. She also made baby's breath flower crowns for my two flower girls who were different sizes and made the size accordingly. She did the lei for our moms and also for all 25 of our out of town guests. I had wanted more color in my bouquet but I can understand how hard that would be to find navy blue and gray flowers and incorporate them, especially being in Hawaii. But I could tell that she did the best she could. Because our reception was outdoors, we opted not to have any flower decorations. Instead, we wanted to decorate the church aisle. I had asked her for baby's breath posy bouquets on every other row and then ribbon bows on the alternating rows. I sent her a picture of something that I pictured in my head which was very simple. But the bows that she created were BEAUTIFUL. They were wide material and draped beautifully. We ended up using them to redecorate our sweetheart table with them at the reception!
