We were lucky to happen upon this spot on the beach. One of the best deals for an umbrella and two lounge chairs - $40.00 It's sits right in front of the Westin and the beach cafe is directly behind you. Food service and restrooms available. I highly recommend these guys. Give them a try and let me know your experience. Mahalo!

Wow! What a great find. We were hoping to find a surf lesson for our six year old daughter but all of the ones with online booking were full. We found Aloha Beach Services and they were able to take her out right away for a one-on-one lesson. John John was her instructor and was great with her. Make sure to bring cash as they don't take cards. Would definitely come back!

Great experience lumpy was a great instructor and was funny. Highly recommend this place for a beginner surfer. You will be able to stand! Also the location is awesome right next to Duke's

NEVER rent from these people. Walk the 100 yards on Waikiki to a different vendor, it will be worth it. It's all about service - I have been in sales my whole life, it doesn't matter what you sell, it's the service that makes people go back. Let's start with the renting of paddle boards for my family (3 total), he took my money not once looking up, pointed to where the PB were - I looked at him and asked "how do I know when my hour is up" - his priceless response "that's something you'll need to figure out". What? No help carrying boards, no one asked if we were familiar with PB, no help getting them out of the water. Yet, when my daughter was all done and trying to get her board out of the water, A DIFFERENT EMPLOYEE FROM A COMPETING vendor helped her out of the water. On a different day (maybe they would be nicer) They treated both my son and daughter (both over the age of 21) like trash. We had people in the water ask us about this vendor because they heard and saw similar situations. There are several vendors in Waikiki Beach that have the Aloha spirit - use them - your vacation will be all the more sweeter and memorable. Mahalo

Even though we have done this excursion many times, there's always a twist. On our latest adventure, we got to see five monk seals, with two of them playing in the ocean like little puppies. This experience solidified our decision to book Kailua Beach Adventures on our next trip to Oahu.

They have single and double kayaks. The guided tour provides life vests, dry bags, snorkels, water bottles, and lunch. The trip to the island took us approximately 1.5 hours maybe a bit more to Kayak the 2.3 miles due to strong head winds. It was faster on the return trip. We even had time to stop on flat island. This is one of my favorite activities to do while on Oahu. I love the scenic views heading to the "Mokes" and I love the views looking toward Oahu while out on the water. It's such a magical kayaking adventure. The island is a bird sanctuary and if you go at the right time you'll see nesting birds and if you are lucky, you'll see the endangered Hawaiian Monk Seal. We saw three (maybe four, not sure if one was the same one that swam to a different spot) on Moku Nui and one on Popoi'a Island sandbar. If you are adventurous and have the stamina and strength to kayak, I highly recommend this tour for you! Our guide Two-pre was the best!!! He told us that the tour we were on was his 400th!!

Chad was an outstanding guide--friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and incredibly familiar with the area. He taught us the basics of balancing, paddling, and navigating the water, and within just a few minutes we were confidently paddling alongside him. We explored the river during the evening and sunset, surrounded by beautiful scenery, calm waters, and amazing views. One of our favorite parts was spotting turtles and fish while paddling. Chad also took great photos and made sure everyone felt comfortable and safe throughout the entire adventure. As a parent, I really appreciated how relaxed and family-friendly the experience was. It wasn't dangerous or intimidating at all--it was simply fun, active, and unforgettable. The boys loved it so much that my older son told me he wanted to work for Chad when he grows up so he could do this every day! That made me laugh, but it also showed just how much of an impact this experience had on them. If you're looking for an outdoor activity that is fun, safe, memorable, and suitable for all ages, I highly recommend Chad and Nocturnal Adventures. It was money well spent and one of the best family experiences we've had together.

We paid via PayPal and met on Waikiki beach. He was a bit late since he had trouble finding parking. Mickey had the kids practice some moves on land and wax the boards before paddling out. 90 minutes for $100 each student plus $30 for videos. He paddled them forward with the waves and told them when to stand. The kids had a blast. The videos from his go pro were amazing! A totally rad experience that the kids will remember forever. Mickey was great with the kids. He is super friendly and sang a bunch of songs to them. We highly recommend him. Be sure your kid is comfortable in the water and knows how to swim well. They won't take the SUP to the shore or bring it back if you're a off coming back. I wish it wasn't such a chore for them especially since we tend to tip well (at least 20% even if its bad like this). No matter what time of year it is usually pretty crowded and hard to navigate around ppl. But if you can get out there, it is super fun and the waves are usually gentle. The fun and views of surfing, without having to get in the water (though we did get a little wet) and no worries about balance. The outrigger canoe has the "ama" (the stabilizing float part) which made it smooth and easy...except for the paddling. Very safe (and that's coming from a former Risk Manager). I have no upper arm strength and we had to paddle hard at times and had we done it any longer than our 30-40min, I would definitely have had a blister. It was a beautiful morning (so thankful there was no rain), ocean was calm, and riding in the three waves was exceptional and something I am so glad they captured on video for us so we can truly remember the feeling always!!
