    Half eaten valencian paella
    Michael T.

Another great example of fantastic Spanish cuisine and kindness. I enjoyed a wonder gazpacho then valencian paella, highlighted with snails and rabbit. I felt a it guilty eating my furry friend, but alas when in Valencia... I was offered gratis a apertif, which I had to refuse because I do not drink alcohol. The gesture was warmly appreciated however. I recommend eating your paella for lunch as it is quite heavy.

Great little place! Waitress spoke English with me. Communicated without problem! English menu was available. Food was very good, especially tapas! Paella was just normal to us, didn't give us a surprise. Sangria was very good. Cold soup was delicious, the mussels were fat and yummy. But note! They said they open at 17:30 for dinner.... So not true!! We waited till 20:00 from 19:00!!! But hey that's Spain! Be aware!!

Extremely cozy, tucked away restaurant in a nice part of Valencia. Our server was incredibly friendly and warm. The place was packed at around 10 pm on a Saturday night, but luckily we got a table right away. We had the best patatas bravas I've ever had (bomb garlic aoili) a tosta with shrimp and squid, and the seafood Paella (when in Valencia, right?) and an awesome bottle of wine. Everything was great, a perfect Valencian meal. Finished off with a delicous apple dessert.

Nice neighbourhood away from the tourist traps of the cathedral square. Lovely atmosphere and decorations. The waitress put us on the balcony. I don't know if it was because we were early (8:30pm) or if it was just a quiet night and there was only one waitress. This meant service was really slow which let everything down a bit. We ordered patatas bravas (€4) while we waited for our seafood paella (€14 per person) which is made fresh to order. The food was beautiful and the paella had so much seafood in it! A little pricey but we'll worth the quality and quantity! The waitress gave us a complimentary dessert wine to finish the meal. I give it 4 stars because of the slow service and a little pricey for our budget but worth the visit!

Very good paella! Had the prawns appetizer and it was also good. Definitely visit this spot when in Valencia.

But also being somewhat upscale they were a little more formal than obviously a casual place. Once seated we were told we had 2 hours to finish our meal which is a very long time for just two Americans eating. The only issue I have is that our food arrived amazingly fast I mean like maybe under 5 minutes post ordering. After that the staff kept coming by asking if they could clear my plate because I eat quite a bit faster than my companion, my wife. They asked me two to three maybe even four times if they could clear my plate which really was unwelcome since we had 2 hours to finish our meal. As I stated earlier the food was really really good if you check out my photos the atmosphere was really nice. I am an architect and can really appreciate nice design and configurations. I would gladly go back and run to recommend this place I do know my wife stated the same issue I outline regarding being rushed and they said that they would adjust it. I would gladly revisit the establishment and when we return back to the Valencia I plan on going there once again. I highly recommend it especially the steak that was very well cooked perfect for our desire which was rare.

It's pretty easy to make one online and there are usually plenty of options available. 2. 40 euro for a tasting menu and bottle of wine!?! Sign me up to do this once a week please. 3. Adorable ambiance and vibe. It felt so cozy and just a nice spot to have a relaxed dinner with friends/loved ones. 4. Incredible sweet staff. It was definitely an excellent recommendation! Intimate ambiance, excellent service, and superb food! We stopped by at 20:00 and there was a sign on the door that said they were full and recommended making reservations. We were able get on their website and make reservations for a party of four at 21:30 that same night. Definitely recommend making reservations. Recommendations: 1) On the "To Share" menu, try the goat cheese with tomato jam. So delicious! 2) For the main, my wife ordered the Huevos Rotos with organic farm eggs and candied potatoes. She loved it! 3) For my main, I ordered the Iberian Bacon glazed with orange and roasted carrot cream. By far my best meal in Valencia!
