The prices are a little higher than what I would normally pay to thrift, but they had some cool items (lots of denim) and friendly staff. I didn't get anything this time, but it's the kind of place you'll want to come back to for a more thorough lay of the land. The store is packed with everything you could think of from old magazines, VHS tapes, vintage clothes (including an OJ Simpson jersey I regret not snagging), CDs, old jewelry, records, and a thousand other little knick-knacks and do-dads you would expect to find at a little antique shop. The store is two levels and features a few different rooms full of stuff to sort through. Sadly, I didn't find anything today that caught my eye but this is definitely the type of store that fills up with new merchandise weekly. I will definitely be making sure to stop in at least once a month to see what new stuff has entered the store!

The clothes are sold as uni-sex (so they told me). There were a few camisoles. The staff are very courteous. The stall looks very modern but they haven't received their store signs yet. This is the first time they had a physical store. They used to sell over Instagram including holding live auctions. They are a pop-up for 2 months, after which they have the option of extending and also expanding to a neighbouring stall. The place is wheelchair accessible. Still, I decided to leave four items at the store. Weeks later, when I called to see if any of my items had sold, I was informed that there were only three items listed. When I asked what happened to my fourth item, I was told it must have be defective and was donated. All my items were in excellent condition. I was then told that only one of the remaining three items sold. I decided to take my items back and donate them to a charity of my choice; however, the staff could not find one of them items. Eventually, I was told that it sold but the tag was gone, so the staff did not know it was mine. The store is unorganized and unwelcoming. Only one staff member was willing to help me, and I am grateful for her assistance. I will not be listing or shopping at this store again. It has been a horrible and stressful experience.

But that's not what I'm writing to you about -- I'm writing because shopping at your store was a great experience! ...from the moment we stepped through the door of Guff and were greeted (by Schroeder) to being assisted with checking out the table/being shown how the drop leafs work (by Schroeder) to paying for the table and a couple of ceramic cups and saucers (the latter just having arrived/but Schroeder looked them up/"no problem") to having our table prepped for pick up (by Paul and Schroeder) to being greeted the next day with a smile (by Paul) to the assist with the table being lifted into the back of our SUV (by Paul) ...it could not have been a better experience!! The pieces are kept well, good quality, and they have about 3 change rooms available so you can actually try the stuff on. They've got all sorts of clothing from casual to business wear to semi formal and formal. You can find all sorts of styles too. There's a huge section for formal dresses at the back half and I recall she mentioned they have another location that specially has bridal wear. They also have some jewelry and shoes. I definitely look forward to coming back again soon and hope more people discover them so they can stay in business for a long time to come. The staff here are incredibly friendly and so is the owner! They're not pushy about the sale and seem only concerned about making sure you have a great time shopping. Love the vibes!
